I have wood envy again. I wish I could find canary wood in the UK. Great plan. A dark fretboard would work well.
Yeah, I'm thinking a dark fretboard for sure. Need something to smooth out the highs of the Canary. Tonally, it is very similar to maple. I used it on last years GGBO build and I really like it.

Looks like a great build! Check out the HipShot trem. Just got one for a project I’m doing. Really solid unit. All the trems I got from fender last year went back defective.
I'm a big fan of Hipshot's stuff.
sounds interesting! I‘d prefer the walnut or the rosewood board over the lighter ones. Maybe a even darker wood like ebony would look sublime. And what about going crazy and do the inlays with the top wood?
