I had the pleasure of meeting Mr Brown in the mid 70's when he was at Clyde.... always a Gentleman. My son's first Scotland game abroad was against Morocco. RIP Craig Brown

I was at the Norway game at Bordeaux. Best party ever from day before match to day after. Great to see the video and bring back the memories.

Had this on VHS and loved watching it. Glad to see it up in full on YT. I was in P7 when the Brazil game was on and our school shut early to let everyone head home and watch it. Embarrassing that this has been our last major final.

The most disappointed i ever was at a world cup, the disaster of losing 3 nil to Morocco such a shocker of a result, done reasonable well in the other two games, just miss fired up front, always like Craig Brown decent honest and passionate man, just terribly unlucky at times.

We’ve always underachieved considering the great players that wore that scotland top but we never seem to get the rub of the green now we can’t even qualify for a major tournament

Many of them unlucky! So close in 1974 - 1978 - 1982 - 1986 - 1990. The rest including 1998 did not deserve to qualify to the second round.

This is the weakest Scots team participated in modern history World Cup. With very few good names, not much to remember except a good draw against Norway, and of coarse playing the opening match against holders Brazil, despite the fact they played the first 2 matches to the best of their capabilities.
That was the last time Scotland played in the World Cup, and can't see one soon.
