It's seriously insane that iTunes decided to leak the episode 2 weeks before it came out! I really want to watch the episode early but I'm going to stay strong and wait like everybody else. Dana and the crew didn't deserve this! đą

They did basically the same thing in amphibia where they leaked the whole season finale true colors. This is so unfair towards the creators and Dana

Back in the Steven universe days, I wouldâve watched the leaks. However, I am older know and understand how this is damaging and watching the leaks will mean less of the shows I love being made. Stay strong guys.

@@weegee9616 That's probably what I'm going to do, I've already annoyingly seen spoilers by accident, so I'm tempted to watch it now, then rewatch it with my partner when the 21st comes, as she's wanting to watch it too, so that way we'll still be able to support the show's viewership then. Could also leave the video running on the 21st to give it another view to compensate for watching the leaked one. It's... messy either way, now :/
To be fair, unlike the owl house or amphibia, where they would release episodes once a week, and when they do go on hiatus, regardless how long it was, it feels natural. Whereas Steven Universe, CN would release one episode for each day of the week and then after that week is over, you got to wait for about 5-6 months until they release five new episodes in one week and then the cycle repeats itself until the show ended.

i mean you donât have to feel bad lol, youâre not hurting anyone directly- itâs just making urself feel bad for no reason. Yes it sucks for the team they didnât get to reveal their work on their own terms but as long as you support the official release and not spoil it for others thereâs really no harm.

I thought that was just me I loved watch premiered episodes multiple times so I also could experience of when I first watched it and why watching it multiple times was helpful to Dana and the crew I love the Owl House and it will always be one of my favorite shows from Disney but I hate seeing it ending so soon and because the fact that Parents tell their own children not to watch it and it not harmful or anything but yeah it understandable, and it must hurt so much when Dana got the news of when itunes leaked episode: 2 knowing the project she had worked so hard on got uploaded I hate seeing this all end so soon but I bet it was for the better and it could be for the worst as well. I watched the leak for afew reasons, for 1, Disney channel and disney youtube of owlhouse is not watchable in my region without a vpn and owlhouse season 3 is not on disney plus yet, second i really didnt wanna get spoiled too much by the time release date rolled around, though once i can watch it through offical means il certainly watch it again (love the show anyway and have rewatched what i can on disney plus several times already)

It was disney themselves, It already got out. The motivation to do it, idk, maybe to hurt the show and have a reason to not continue it. I really don't know, disney hurt Star Wars for me, and now is hurting one of my favorite shows. I really hate disney. I will never watch disney movies in the cinema ever again. They showed they want, first of all, a quick buck at the expense of quality, and that they are very political and will hurt what they don't like. I f*ing hate Disney.

I feel so damn sorry for Dana and her team Iâm not anime writer but Iâm sure itâs a lot harder then writing real life tv where the show is based around real humans. As much as it might have been an accident, it still is very horrible that this happened. I feel so horrible for Dana and the crew, they don't deserve this. I am doing my best to avoid spoilers and not watch them but my CZcams recommended is FILLED with spoilers!!! First it got shortened, and now this. I thought Disney learned their lesson after they learned their mistake after Thanks to Them aired, but it doesnât seem so. This awesome show doesnât deserve disrespect like this. Even though I donât have cable and I canât watch it on Disney when it comes out anyway, I still want to respectful and wait until after the 21st even though itâs really tempting right now. Thankfully, I watched Thanks to Them two days after it aired, getting some spoilers, but now over two weeks of spoilers? Itâs going to be torture! I watch Owl House content every day on CZcams, so itâs filled with Owl House content, but I love this show so much, I canât help it! So unfortnatly, Iâm going to see a lot of spoilers before I see the actual episode. I donât want to be off CZcams for two weeks either since I love it too much too. I feel terrible for Dana and the crew. If this happened numerous times before, I think itâs too suspicious to be considered an âaccident.â I just wish people were more respectful to others. I might not be apart of the LGBTQ+ community, but I respect them. I just watch the show because itâs amazing. Like people, I donât judge it for being different. I wish more countries will be open to this kind of stuff in the future because it just doesnât seem fair to not air them for other people due to their beliefs and culture. Not every oneâs the same.
Doubt it, if the numbers are slashed now due to the leak Disney may still be cautious and instead ignore the spike in viewership for Thanks to Them. If it were to happen again for the last episode, then tOH could be done for completely, no hope of spin offs or anything
I was hopeful that the hype would not be broken. You do raise a good point though, and I wonder if someone did this on purpose to try and break the fandom. Either way, I will be supporting it when it comes out. If we have huge numbers again, like we did last time, then despite the leak, Disney will have to acknowledge the show. Iâve been more open to spoilers this whole time, because I want it to blow up in Disneyâs face. But I understand what youâre talking about.
I've watched the leaked episode and still plan to watch it at its release on every platform I can. I still just love the show. I will also refrain from discussing the episode online until it's release date, out of courtesy.
It's so, so sad that itunes leaked the second to last episode of toh, it's quite a punch in the gut considering the show has already been cut short. I caved and watched the episode as all of the social media platforms I was on were ridden with leaked clips, and I didn't want the surprise for the episode to be ruined. I have plans to watch the episode when it airs on the 21 and I encourage others to do the same regardless of whether you decide to watch the leaked episode or not, give the episode some love on platforms that will benefit dana and the team.
I feel bad for Dana, she and TOH crew worked really hard on these last episodes, they should deserve better, hopefully no one especially iTunes leak the last episode until it airs, I will support the official release on Disney Channel.
Iâve seen the picture they released and the one clip with Amity talking to Luz. Later on, I saw several other clips and watched them not knowing the episode had been leaked.

I only saw a couple clips from the episode, but I'm holding out on searching for the leak because those clips just made me way more excited to watch the full episode when it actually officially releases. I'm so excited for the episode, and I know even if I tried I wouldn't have access to the leaked version anyway (not that I want that access)
I'll admit to being one of the weaklings who couldn't resist watching the leaked episode. I'm sorry, I had collage orientation the next morning and when I saw it, knew I wouldn't be able to sleep. Don't worry, I am definitely tuning in for the real thing when it airs to support the show, as I certainly don't mind watching again; I had a great time. Also, everyone will be glad to know that Disney is scrambling to take down the leaks and the episode is no more.
I can't wait to be able to talk about it, but for now I supposed we must content ourselves with a more immediate question: What the flying fuck is Itunes' problem? Are these the seeds of some sort of war of media titans? Is _that_ why Disney suddenly went on a massive take-over binge a few years ago? Is Apple looking to take Disney down? When I tried searching up other peopleâs reaction to iTunes releasing the show. I saw so many never before seen clips and wasnât trying to purposely search up spoilers by doing this. I saw so many never before seen clips, I saw a two minute clips that didnât reveal to much as it was just a fight scene so I would call it a spoiler in my opinion
What makes me really upset is on the first week of January I always do a social media cleanse to start my year off right but I decided to watch some CZcams one night and the whole episode was on there. Something you didnât mention, but both times it was iTunes CANADA that leaked the episode and both this and the True Colours leak paint Canadian media distribution in an unflattering light as well. As a Canadian, Iâm very saddened by this. I also hope that the Final episode doesnât get leaked. Itâs honestly so sad and I will try my best to avoid spoilers for the episode and watch it on the official date.

Iâm completely heartbroken for Dana and her team that the episode was leaked, people are posting spoilers all over TikTok and some without spoiler warnings but still itâs just disrespectful they worked so hard on this. I have been avoiding all spoilers for the episode but I can barely scroll through TikTok without a spoiler popping up that I have to quickly scroll past
As a content creator who makes content around shows like The Owl House, this whole thing really annoyed me. I made an edit for when there was only a brief clip shown. I thought, it was a small thing, it didn't give too much away and it would be fun to make a video around. Then I heard about the whole episode getting leaked, it pissed me off. After some thought, I started to delete every post I had made sharing my edit and setting the video to private to ensure no one else could see it. Trying my part to make sure that my own audience, much like your own, doesn't look into spoilers. Or at the very least if they did see the episode not to spoil it for everyone else who wants to play it honest and watch it at the intended time. That is what I plan to do myself.

I didnât know that the episode was leaked, nor did a friend so they sent me the episode that someone uploaded on CZcams. Iâm quite upset that it got leaked but it bothers me that I didnât get to experience the episode as intended.
I told my mother that we will watch the episode on the 21st. So I have a lot of stuff to do before the 21st. I have to do a project then a test then mid terms then I have to continue writing my novel. I don't know what else I would need to do to get my mind off the episode.

I saw some spoilers on tiktok so i watched the episode so i could se stuff myself and i will watch it again when its offically comes out too and i wish i didnt watch it
I feel disappointed that the entire episode is leaked. But I only saw the first 2 minutes of the episode and the reveal of Luz's palisman. It is very hard for me to enjoy my time on CZcams because of the clips/images that are running around on my recommended page (including my friends who did watched it, but they didn't spoil me so that is a relief). But I am excited about its release, and watching it from Disney's CZcams channel. Though, I am hoping for a spin off for this series. I am super curious on how the Collector was created, and/or his purpose.

I watched the episode myself, mainly because I live in an area where disney blocks everything and I can't experience the show along with others. I can't watch it on TV the 21st I'd have to wait a year for the episode to be available in my country. So yeah with these things its always a dilemma. but hey if you can support the show when it does come out then good for you! I sadly could not, and I have to find different ways to enjoy the things I want to enjoy. So if you are thinking about watching the episode it doesn't really matter what others think as long as you keep things to yourself don't spoil anything and frankly just have a great time watching it its well worth it. But kuddos to the people who can and will support its official airing I'll be sure to spread the hashtaggs on social media the day of the release to do my small part :)

Dana stated that the cancellation of the show was not due to reasons involving the LGBTQ+ representation within the show, and rather do to issues over the span of the pandemic. I donât remember the exact reason but I believe she tweeted about it a while back.

I don't agree with this analysis. Two possibilities:
1. It won't change anything to the audience figures when it's aired on Disney Channel since it's not the same demographics than the online fandom. Also it doesn't change anything for viewers outside of the US which have no official access to Disney Channel US. When TTT aired, Disney Channel registered an audience of 250k viewers and the biggest pirate streaming site registered more than 70k viewers (before crashing).
2. The audience figures of the premiere will be noticeably lower than for ep1 and ep3. In this case Disney Channel might even lose money because they sell advertisement slots based on a planned audience.
Case 1: The leak doesn't change anything. Disney's business is safe, everything goes like planned and it's like the leak never happened. Disney then won't care about doing anything for future leaks.
Case 2: The leak has a huge impact on Disney Channel's audience. Disney may be angry and take action against future leaks.
I'm not talking about the future of TOH etc. there. I think that if the leak has a negative impact, it will be on Disney's business, and the more it has, the more they will consider doing something about leaks for their TV series. Currently they don't give a f* if that's not obvious enough. Let say FTF premiere is viewed by 50k people: this would be an unheard before bad score and an anomaly that they would have to resolve.
But honestly, I don't think it will happen. Most likely it's going to be case 1 and nothing is going to change for Disney and TOH. The only thing the leak does is harming the fans' community and hurting the staff that worked very hard to bring it into existence. That's what I think Dana's message were about, it was about protecting their work to make the release a party for all TOH's community and staff, because that is a HUGE positive side of what working so hard on such shows is nowadays, and it's all ruined.
You can actually tell that Disney just doesn't know how to handle its series' premieres. I really think what they should do is to make them available worldwide on Disney+ like CZcams premiere does (maybe with a live streamed event). And then, only from that, make the masters available to third party distributors. But they still don't do that because... they don't care! Their TV business still works even if the CZcams version of TTT made 4x more viewers in 24h than the TV premiere (a lot of them, I'm sure, being from outside the US. But since they locked it to North America, everybody used a VPN so they don't have the real stats). Are they stupid? Maybe it makes sense for them not to "break" something they know is working. But in the meantime, they're not building or taking care of an international community, because they never did and they don't know how to make money from that.
Wow I canât believe this happened. I feel so bad for Dana and her crew. Iâll try to avoid every spoilers since I want it to be a surprise, but Iâm afraid that itâs gonna be hard because people are craazy and quick.
This is really sad Dana Terrace and The Owl House crew worked so hard on the show to see that leaked is heartbreaking⊠I did see the leaks but I will still watch the episode when it releases as well.

I might forget what the episode was about until the 21 at so I will watch it again. Iâm am confused and angered on what the leaked done, it made me scared of the collector.

With the show not performing nearly as well on the episode premiers I think it will stop I need encouragement of him making more episodes or extending the links due to the fact of the episode will not get nearly as many views

The leaks images or clips aren't going to decrease viewership, it'll actually increase it due to the anticipation and the fans wanting to fill in those missing pieces and know what's gonna happen next or why is this scene happening. However for the leaked episode, it is sad that it got leaked, but most owl house fans are loyal owl house fans and rewatch the episodes over and over again such as myself. I'm not saying all of the fans are like this I'm just saying that the viewership won't decrease as much as you make it seem. I watched the leaked episode because I never new the air date and I happened to stumble upon it on CZcams out of luck and just watched it. However with that said I love the owl house and I am happy to rewatch that episode on the day it's supposed to air :).
I must admit without this series I may have never became an ally of the LGBT community
I feel so bad for Dana and the crew I am also numbed out for the fact I clicked a video thinking it was a theory and watched Luis egg hatch and found out her pails an I'm so upset I be been waiting years for this to just get spoiled
