Could it be that the collector, like Luz, escaped his responsibilities and his life as a collector and fled to a lower dimensional plane where he was treated like a god by the titan catchers but then locked up?
What kind of responsibility by collecting people and objects from planets and destroying anybody that DARE stand against them I would say that our collector was probably not liking that idea
I feel like he made the right choice.
the collector is used as a foil to Luz's character, they shair a lot of similarities but also a lot of parallels. the way Dana and the team portrayed them is perfect writing!
I am all the more curious about the Collector, their race, the conflict between the Collectors and the Titans, and what's going to happen between King and the Collector in the end. I honestly hope King can redeem the Collector since despite the bad things that they did, the Collector is really a lonely child with godlike powers that doesn't know any better and is on the verge of being manipulated into doing something worse.
I truly believe King and Our Collector are so symbolic for what took place in history and I believe they will resolve things and become friends which will symbolise the end of the war in a way
Something that I think is worth mentioning about the Kid Collector and his adult brethren, is that he was the last of his race, he was and probably still is, the weakest Collector due to his age, misunderstood or not, this kid is a brat and before Kingâs father sealed him away, the only thing that could possibly keep him in check was a group of domineering adults he could not overcome, constantly telling him what to do and making him follow their rules, as far as parenting goes, the adult Collectors seem to have had a mind set of, do what we say or suffer, they literally had a policy of genocide and scorched earth if a planets species even slightly interfered or resist their ambitions.

what if the boiling sea is a result of the collectors trying to "scorch" the planet?
That literally is the reason, they cleaned the planet getting rid of all landmass and scorched it creating the boiling sea
There mite have mean more land on the boiling ilses but because they scorched the air it burned the land and boiled the water because of the global warming melted the ice and made more water

The symbiotic relationship over titans dying and creating life, for collectors to collect is fascinating. I wonder if an even higher being died and its remains causing the emergency of titans and collectors
I think that the collectors only started trying to kill the titans because one of the titans killed a collector because in one picture there is 4 big collectors but in the rest thereâs only 3

I really liked your breakdown of this. I was interested in your thoughts about the Collectors and their past with the Titans and the War between them. Hopefully we'll some sort of flashback or something like that to see what happened back then. Possibly that orange figure in the In-between realm might be king's father.
Also something that I noticed, plus a couple other CZcamsrs that I watched noticed, was on the other side of the Collector's palace we can see 4 murals. One of a Sun with two eyes, Moon with one Eye and Eclipse, Shooting like stars, and a Planetary Alignment. While I'm not sure what those mean one idea that I had was that these murals were possibly showing the creation of the Boiling Isles Solar System.
Also another thing that I noticed from a person on CZcams named Whitney vision was that in the book on the right side she said that fans saw possibly two important things. 1st was the work "Dimensional" Possibly meaning that the Collectors are Multi- Dimension cosmic creatures. 2nd (while not confirmed) was the notion of there being an "Eclipse Queen" Although it's not fully seen on the right side of there is some sort of "Queen of the Collector's" that be pretty interesting to learn about.
Hopefully those two ideas are right. Like I said I got this info from other CZcamsrs.
I donât think war started when the Collectors were searching for planets. Because itâs possible our Collector was involved in the war, and like Luz, our Collector ran away and discovered the Demon Realm, while the others came looking for him. And I believe thatâs how it all began.
Our collector remind 's me of pink diamond from Steven. He is a good and he do not want to conquer the world.
If we do get to see the other remaining Collector, They would look at Belos as a unique species and turn him into a scroll like the Owl Beast. Just a thought lol

Also don't forget, all the Titan's aren't dead. At least 1 survived. We know this due to Bill the Titan Trapper seeing one before he lost his hearing. This means that either a Titan went into the in-between world, or time traveled. The reason I say time traveled, is because Titan Blood can create ripples in time. It would make since for a Titan to be able tot time travel, if their blood can.
Also, we know Bill is a lair, but when he was talking about the Titan's to Luz, he knew exactly what they were like. Also, your theory makes sense, well done on creating a story through these pictures.
Also, (again) what if the Collector's made the Titan's into dolls like our Collector. I believe they could have used Titan's to fight Titan's, which could explain the portrait of the Collector's putting on Titan Skulls. But also, it would made sense for the Collector's to go undercover, to find a way to free our Collector, or find a way to wipe our the Titan race.
Hi đI said this to someone else but as you said we found out that Bill was a liar in the episode as he made up things about Titans being evil and Luz even asks him just how much he had been making up which he didnât answer. I believe everything he knows about titans came form the collector because we know he played with Titan babies who probably had similar mannerisms to King

What if, other younger Titans also survived as well-children and teens, not yet humongous adults. But because of the Collector cult, the âTitan Trappersâ, they were slowly eradicated until finally they were all gone.
That could explain why there are a lot of smaller Titan skulls in their possession. This is also a community that lives on a different part of the planet, which shows that itâs a huge world and that weâve only been on one small area around Kingâs dad.
My theory of what happened according to the murals and this video. Sun, moon, and planet murals: The collector are born from the alignment of planets and solar eclipse AND/OR itâs the only time you can perform the spell to trap them in the glass.
Collectors and titan murals: the collectors were on their next conquest and the titans were able to fight back like the video said. Our collector was on the conquest too but was more entertained with the kid titans than actually capturing them.
The final battle mural: I think yes the smaller looking titan on the left is a collector. My biggest outlandish theory is that the huge titan on the right isnât Kingâs dad but his mom. I think that the boiling isles is birthed from his mother like a Mother Earth vibe. And the smaller titan on the right near the egg is his dad who is also the one trapped away in between realms like the collector was. Thatâs how he was able to perform the spell to trap him. And idk if he did that to protect king or to protect our collector from the collectors. But I think he sacrificed being with kind physically to perform the spell and is still alive just in the in between. I really have a feeling the big titan is a maternal figure. And that also opens up the space as Eda always being his mom.
Iâm not sure how it will all resolve but I love a good backstory :)

King: if the Eda's Japanese cartoon is true, the best thing I can do to stop the collector is to keep him distracted, comply with his requests and not make him angry... I just hope that if he's hungry he doesn't think of turning everyone into sweets and chocolates

what makes this more interesting is that there are human parallels to some of luz's friends on the boiling isles (or atleast presumed to be) and i just think about that sometimes

And those Titans in the murals could have been younger possibly coz weâve seen way smaller Titan skulls and King is a very young Titan, maybe, and weâve seen two fully grown Titans: the Boiling Isles Titan and that other one. Even though theyâre both dead
In the owl beast flashback, we see trees looking tiny in comparison to the owl beast and collector.
I also believe that the collectors have the ability to change size as they wish.

The Grand Huntsman is the one who trapped the owl beast. He is not the Collector we know.

if king never left the island that he had hatched on before Eda came is there another titan in hiding because when talking to Bill the titan trapper he says how he saw a titan and heard it but if no one else were born at that point (titan trappers) Eda would not have found king so Bill could not have seen king it must have been another titan that he saw.
