Anybody who watches this regularly will know how particular Chris is with everything he does , if Chris says the car is ok that way on the lift then its ok nuff said.

You can tell it's been a big smash when you get part of the other car with it.
Now they have to rebuild that one as well! It’s a twofer!!
With all your skills and experience you’ll have this one as good as new and safely repaired. Hard work beats talent but your combination of hard work and talent is even better 🤗

@@chrisrogers2848Don’t underestimate the difficulty in sourcing parts etc which is mostly down to Rob.
Yes it comes over like that, but Chris goes straight to the damage, wanting to know the work involved. They're a great team.
@@bob900868 They certainly are good team players both of them.
I think Rob can be a bit impulsive with their purchases and you can often tell by Chris' body language that he's saying to himself "oh no Rob, not another one" but having said that if anyone can fix this car he's the guy. Going to be a big repair bill though.
If health and safety guys are watching this I'm sure they're thinking "safety boots" steel toe caps. Took a risk there Rob.

Surprised the wings are in such good condition with a smash like that.. I guess they might not be 100% but you'd think they'd be totally crumpled

My car ended up there after being written off in a non-fault accident, wankers tried offering me £1500 for a car worth £5500.

Stroke every black cat you see and maybe one in colour with a rear end shunt will turn up for you both. That will cost a lot more than you paid for it in parts/paint. See if done before Xmas. Thank you for making your content as I enjoy watching. My era of cars is like Chris's. I have never done body repair from crash damage other than getting my Dolomite Sprint fixed after being rear ended. That cost me I think £500 or £600 over the insurance to do a total repaint not just the rear. So much involved now and crammed in tight. Skilled men so you could do it but I think you may choose not to and get on with the plans you had before. Love to see you do an old classic. Great to see Chris at home filming now.

I've just got myself a 2018 Ford Ecosport for 3750 from copart ;) Was going through bids at 6k, they wanted 8k. Then it went lower and lower, last week it went through at 4850. They got fed up and threw a buy now up for 3750. Damn so lucky :D I've ordered everything for the car, all new parts and only spent 474.99. Just waiting on bumper for respray and it'll be back on the road. Wishbone was bent, droplink snapped, no chassis damage. Wing damage and wing support bracket slightly bent, 9 spot welds simple replacement. Bald tyres, think I've lost count with amount of cars with bald tyres... aha. Anyway looking forward to your content as always :)
With Chris casting his magic on this VW, it will soon be as good as new. Great project.👍
Gonna be a good series this is! That's taken a strange hit, the ripped part is a headache part by the look of it, but don't doubt you'll get this one sorted in a few weeks 💪

Not heard of this car but it looks very nice apart from the damage of course. It might be expensive in parts but it is new and you will still make a good profit at the end of the day. I am glad the engine is not destroyed even if all the other parts are toast. Great video Rob and Chris thanks and I look forward to the rebuild. 👍👍

Just bought a 1.5 R Line for the wife. Drives nice, plenty of gadgets. Surprisingly roomy. Has the optional black kit, as does yours, wheels, mirrors, roof. All the best with it.
