- In this video the transporter load of Bargain salvage cars, that we purchased from the Copart salvage auction, arrives at the #Salvagerebuildsuk workshop.
Working at our fully equipped workshop in Kent we carry out tasks including Panel beating, Body work, Mig Welding, Sheet metal Spot Welding, Fabrication, Chassis Repairs, Sand Blasting, Engine and Mechanical repairs, Reconditioning, Restoration and Structural repairs on the Celette Jig Dozer frame machine.

We do receive quite a few questions regarding tools and equipment that we use for various jobs. Unfortunately there is too many to list but some of the brands we use include Snap-on, Blue-point, Makita, Sealey, Clark, Esab and Sykes-Pickavant.

All those motors worth every penny Rob, The vw golf has lots of life left in her, I had same car used it as a work horse north wales to Portsmouth every week I think Mine had about 270,000 miles when i sold it two years ago. All should be easily fixed up and out of the door.

I’ve got a five door HRV, I brought it after having a three door HRV and it is absolutely incredible, the only thing wrong with it is it doesn’t have cruise control otherwise I wouldn’t get rid of it a fantastic car and workhorse excellent about town
I bought a HRV couple weeks back. Its unbelievable how cheap they are and what you get for the price. Brilliant cars.

I’ve had Golf mk1,2,4,5, and currently have a mk6 2.0tdi 140 GT which came with full leather and DSG to which I’ve added the paddle shifter steering wheel. I also got some used original BBS Monza GTI wheels. 2nd hand and had them refurbed in gunmetal metallic (the car is bright red). I love it. The Honda is a great little car I always rated them even if Honda were stupid enough to market them as the ‘Joy Machine’. That lorry load was a seriously good buy. Well done guys.

I had almost the same HRV Auto but a 5 door, loved it. I bought it 6 month old, but my Son crunched it at 4yr old.
I sold it at Auction. 1yr later a Police Letter arrived asking me to confirm the sale ... It had found its way to a FRAUDSTER who had sold it 4 times, then stolen it back on spare keys x4 ! 4 people got duped. Plod crushed it.
(HONDA don't recommend towing with CVT)
@@downtheshedwithjason Yeah, I know ... having said that it was fantastic in the snow, I once pulled the neighbour's LWB Sprinter out of a snow drift with it. My current SKODA DSG6 pulls no problem.

I am happy for you having good luck with Copart. Some times you can't even get one car and sometimes you can get a lorry load of bargains. I actually recently bought a 500 Sport from Facebook Marketplace as I needed to wait for V5C for the copart cars for about 3 months
Well rob you have done it this time less than 1400 BARGAIN all the way well done guys just 59 plate should pay you all the money well done to you guys hope things just keep getting better and batter

That Honda HRV sounds like the catalytic converter is missing,(most likely stolen) as you may have heard the renowned news regarding the Prius and Honda jazz's cats being stolen.
Unfortunately, the Prius and jazz is not the only models being stolen, as now, we are seeing more Honda's like the CRV, HRV, civic hybrid, Volkswagen beetle etc etc come into the workshop.
To conclude, as being in the trade, a factory original Honda cat from the dealer is not cheap, roughly all in £800- £1000 ( just for parts), depending if they cut the sensors and if the flange is damaged on the manifold side, your gonna need a whole new down pipe as well. Your only other option is to get a pattern catalytic converter for roughly 500- 600 quid if your lucky to find one in stock.
Your HRV was most likely an insurance write off as maybe a garage has quoted way over the vehicle's value being uneconomical to repair.

It`s about time you had a bit of luck Rob and Chris after not doing well earlier as some cars seem to be being exported. Good idea with the Honda when you go jet skiing, you might even give Chris a go as he just filmed you last time!!! The Golf is a 2.0 GT TDI. Nice car. You'll have dual zone climate, auto lights, auto wipers, and a set of Michelins is a bonus!
