The Force unleashed!
But soon to be Fallen Order!
Force unleashed
Like if you agree
Force Unleashed 1+2
Force unleashed
Imagine an open world Star Wars game where you can do anything you can become a bounty hunter, a Jedi, a sith, a stormtrooper, a rebel fighter, or even a star destroyer fleet commander. This game would have a character customizer and even a campaign mode which would be similar to Metroid in its nonlinear world. I just really want this it would be amazing.
Mason that would be awesome!!!!
Star Wars Galaxies was exactly that
Its like Rdr2 but better
You should look into Star Wars galaxies ;) mmorpg
You should be a video game designer bc devs donât listen lol
When you realise that 2000 was 19 years ago...
Leron Trepancake almost 20 years ago man damn!
2010 was almost 10 years ago!Its crazy!

Iâm actually wanting a madalorian open world Star Wars game so much
Yaahhss.
with baby yoda as a companion
The Mandalorian already feels like a video game. The way he levels up gear.
I want starwars 1313, or any open world rpg starwars game
Open world bounty hunter game where you choose your race (99% of people would go Mandalorian) and you go around collecting bounties while also having a main objective.
Thoroughly loved this video, Bombastic!
Hi
Cool
Reminder, make a tutorial how ur doing those bf2 lightsaber fight vids
Hello woof
How! How does a CZcamsr only have 98 likes and 4 other comments?!?!?!?
The Lego game's have secret lightsaber combo's.
Pres attack, then wait, then attack.
Or attack then jump then attack.
It's epic bro.
I discovered that accidentally back when i was 7 lol
Couldn't you also block by holding the attack button?
@@Sophie_the_Sapphic yes, and use force Powers
@@Argos_RB i thought you used force powers on the interact button (the one you pulled Levers and build lego with).
@@Sophie_the_Sapphic you could also choke people confuse them and do force pushes and lightning.
I wish we got another Jedi Knight game, it's literally the best lightsaber combat.
Imagine a new Jedi Knight game with current gen graphics.
If it would have the MBII combat it would be awesome.
@@fbiguy5269 movie battles is retarded. let me invite you to jedi outcast 1.02. kids.
Holyflame Exactly, Star Wars Expanded Universe fans would be really really excited!!!
Holyflame I want Knights of the Old Repubkic in 4K live action film!
Holyflame Republic Commando, was one of the most underrated Expanded Universe games, it could be a massive giant hit if released today
I like how Lego Vader cuts Luke's hand off and gives him his hand. Best dad ever. He may have cut off your hand but he gives you his cause he's sorry. Awesome.
I want it. I donât care that Iâm in high school, I want it
Why would you care? Iâll be in college when it comes out and Iâm getting it.
You're not too old to play with Legos. Fuck the rules. I'll play with Legos until I die.
Couldnât agree less
Fuck, more. Couldnât agree more
Jedi Outcast and Jedi Academy also allowed you to attack in any direction while moving in any direction, without getting locked down in animations - except when you and the enemy got into a âsaber lockâ where youâd be pushing your lightsabers against each other and youâd have to try to beat the other player/enemy in the lock.
But does it only work well on pc?
Jedi Outcast and Academy are the best hands down. Dismemberment, deflections, and you felt real impact.
Yup and it was all downhill from there...
and you needed to be careful when timing your attacks, because if you got the timing wrong your guard would be down and you get your head sliced off or something.
There were lots of special moves too once you figured them out too.
And you could use blasters! In both outcast and academy i only used the lightsaber against other lightsaber wielding enemies.
The MP in outcast was great. So many hours force pushing dudes off ledges. lol
Yep
The Force Unleashed feels like the OG God of War while Fallen Order is the new one
PhongMinecrafter yup
Yeah, however i liked the force unleashed 2 better though. I mean for starters they introduced a different form of fighting, and the storyline was amazing. Not a fan of the early playstation graphics though. I think its later release on the wii really improved the graphic quality. A good game overall though, i'm not complainingđ
oh my... fraud
I know right! Lol
combo moves
Force unleashed was one of the funnest games I've ever played
Btw you missed this masterpiece Lego Star Wars III: The Clone Wars
And "the complete saga" and "the force awakens"
Yea that was my childhood
TheBearOwner That game is absolutely amazing
yea truly masterpiece
Memist Central the force awakens wasnât that good but I love the complete saga
Jedi Knight Jedi Academy had the best lightsaber fights I have ever seen in a game
In Academy when it got to later in the story I loved being able to run up a wall vertically then backflip off it and then slice down on my enemy.
@@thepayne7862 I don't remember that working like that. When you ran up you usually run too far up to slice anything. It was more of a gimmick for me.
@@SimbaBrank23It was a little tough and had to time it right but yeah I didn't use it that often. But at least it gave you some options even if they didn't work well.
@@SimbaBrank23 When you're running up the wall, you can press space at any time to backflip off it. You can basically cancel a wallrun at any time.
Skeletty1710 nah I think Star Wars: Jedi Arena.
You didn't even mentioned the customization on the force unleashed, you could use unstable lasers even before Kylo was a thing.
esaul5 What About Jedi Knight: Academy?
esaul5 unstable lightsabers existed before kylo. Itâs just a crystal that has been taken when not ready...hence the name unstable, I think.
Dad, is that you?! Youâre finally back! kylos kyber crystal is cracked
Jedi Academy blew my mind when playing dude, it's just insane how the mechanics are, we really feel like being a lightsaber master, there is so much thing to do. I love it.
Bruh Star Wars: Jedi Math was hella lit that was like my favorite game when i was younger
Who else actually enjoyed the hell out of republic heroes when they were young?
Just me?
Everyone hates this game, but I find it pretty good (maybe because I was a child). I had my fun.
the first boss was so hard for me as a kid
@@zyklonb2355 You mean this three legged giant droid? Yes, he was pretty hard, but later in the game you can shoot them with rockets.
Evan Corniea not alone
Evan Corniea nope, loved it, especially playing as Rex and using my mouth to aim instead of keyboard. Never made as many headshots since than...
I remember the good old days of going to the pizza place and playing the trilogy arcade and playing the Hoth mission. Brings back memories
Zer0 VorteXX YESSS
You have unlocked hidden memories deep within my mind
Ahhh yes the good old days when people like me were not born
Jedi Academy and Outcast II were decades ahead of their time. I've played them since release, and almost 20 years later they are still at the top of the list.
Revenge of the sith for PS2 deserves honorable mentiion
Jedi Outcast, Dark Forces 2, legendary games with fucking great storylines
People like 15 years in the future are gonna look back at Jedi fallen order and think about how bad the graphics are
Lane Kohler maybe
Not really itâs already almost photorealistic except for the weird fabric glitches. I mean I doubt videogames can be past photorealistic graphics.
doubt it, it cant get much better then this.
@@conner3626 that's probably what people in the 90s thought too
@@nischal7881 nah, in 90s, the blocky ugly graphics looked just as bad. What we didn't see getting better is PS1 era FMV graphics, look at Final Fantasy VIII movies, for example. It's obviously dated now. Modern games need improvement in physics of things like cloth and water, they still struggle to make people drink, pour liquid, or remove/put on clothing.
I liked the Force Unleashed 2
Also does Angry Birds Star Wars count as a lightsaber game cause that was fun
No, Angry Birds doesn't count. It is the Bombad Racing of todays time period.
EBear More The Angry Birds Star Wars did not represent Star Wars Expanded Universe
DT-L29 Bombad racing was awesome
YOU BROUGHT BACK MEMORIES I DIDNT EVEN KNEW I HAD WITH STAR WARS MATH. That game was iconic

"Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic"

I liked the lightsaber combat in revenge of the sith the most. It was awesome.
deathbasch Damn that was awesome, it felt like really logical and just more realistic as opposed to the Force Unleahsed.
It was actually challenging consider its a movie inspired based of a Released Live Action film
I prefer it over Jedi academy combat yes I said it
@@nobleskywalker4639 easily! the duels and combo's were wayy better, dont feel ashamed of that opinion. i used to love playing as anakin, he was fluid on that game.
@@vMatzG jedi academy did give more freedom and choices but the lightsaber combat mechanics and animations to me felt better in ros.

thanks for the review, sure am loving the fallen order now...
Try to beat force unleashed on hardest difficulty and we'll talk again.
I still need to beat the Emperor on Sith Lord difficulty he always kills me lol.
use the c h e a t c o d e s
lightsaber, hurrikane, katarn, etc.
musiclover I remember the duel between Starkiller (Galen Marek) and Darth Phobos was the hardest!!!
Same thing when fighting Darth Desolus, or fighting ourselves specifically the Dark Side Version of Galen Marek
musiclover Not Even including the
Ultimate Sith Edition implementing Galen Marek, Lord Starkiller into the Iconic Battles of the Original Trilogy. Basically extended into mission on Tatooine; Hoth, And Endor
I LOVED Jedi Outcast to pieces. I would love a remaster of that game. Even Jedi Academy .
I think Jedi Outcast is somewhat remastered on PS4 and Switch
Jedi Academy still holds up pretty well tbh.
But a proper full remaster with new models and textures would be amazing
Check out the mods for Jedi Academy, the community is still alive and kicking.
@@EliWintercross this is what i was talking about.
@@DafuqROB oh, im fully aware of all the mods, especially the movie battle mod, which is fucking amazing. I was just wishing they'd released a complete remaster of both games.
This was the video that introduced me to the channel a while back, when Fallen order launched. A instant classic.
Really great video and the effort put into this is evident throughout
Lucas arts we miss you
Anyone involved with it
Just wanna say thank you
11:45 - Star Killer held his lightsaber backward, which is kinda new thing at that time...
5:50 - "Am I a joke to you?" - Adi Gallia
Also Ahsoka was first seen in the clone wars movie from 2007 so even if islt was just Ahsoka it would've been a year old
Matthijs Zegwaard the clone wars movie actually came out in 2008
16:50 But, that's not unique to Battlefront 2 at all. You gave several examples of characters with unique animations based on their moves from the films already - including the original Battlefront 2.
Also, there were technically lightsabers in Battlefront 1 as well, though only held by enemies. Was there a mention of this or did I miss it?

Totally agree with this video, having played a lot of these games the standouts are Jedi Academy and Revenge of the Sith. Thank you for bringing back memories.
Man this makes me want fallen order more
I've got it - it's a really good game. Only issue is it gets tedious since there's no fast travel, and you get stuck in the same loop sometimes. It doesn't direct you clearly, that's literally the only issue with it. Other than that, it's good and it keeps your attention. Just keep a playthrough next to you for directions, and you're gold.
Bruh no one makes my day like you do..
I work at a movie theater in Nashville and we actually have the â98 Star Wars arcade! Beaten it multiple times on break, and it still works like a dream!
Am i the only one who remembers that Lego Star Wars 3: The Clone Wars had decent saber combat
Y e s. I love it. The graphics were flawless for a game from 2013. And the content was neverending.
I have it so I can remember it every day
Leia kneeing Vader in the cojones. And it having an effect on him... Looool
Why wouldnt it? He didnt loose them.
Wish I was vader ;)
Star Wars Galaxies, my favourite game ever.
10:22 YOOOOO I HAD THIS SHIT WAYY BACK IN THE DAY, the leapster was my first handheld "gaming" system and i played the hell out of it, lowkey forgot it existed man!
not a Star Wars game but Beatsaber is hands down on of the most fun lightsaber experiences I've ever had. Slashing boxes to the rhythm of your favourite Songs while fully immersed in VR is so much fun.
Though I was addicted to Guitar Hero back in the day...thats probably also a point xD
Jedi Knights are both Legendary-I would still play them to this day.
irmasil3 Iâve kept my old Xbox 360 only because I can play outcast on it and not on the Xbox one! Best Star Wars game to this day! Hope theyâll modify it for Xbox one at some point!
I loved Star Wars Forces Unleashed. At the time it Was my Favorite game.
Force unleashed is a classic but Fallen order is in a class by itself. my favorite game of all time
Great vid!
6:40 omg I loved this game, same as Jedi Academy. Wish there was a game similar to this released.
8:11
The OGâïž, I still play it in the old PS2 to this dayđđŒ
My favourite lightsaber game is definitely jedi fallen order just because the graphics look very impressive it has great level design and I love the story. Also about the actual lightsaber I believe it is the best EVER solely because of all the customisation you can do to the lightsaber like changing the actual lightsaber itself or helpful stuff like increasing the damage and other things like throwing it or the action of switching lightsaber forms from 1 bladed lightsaber to a double ended one in a cool animated attack
As a kid I had Star Wars: The Phantom Menace and Jedi Power Battles on the PS1, I loved playing the coop Jedi Power Battles with my little brother but the RPG elements of The Phantom Menace were amazing.
Honestly Jedi Outcast and Jedi Academy are my all time favorite Star Wars games
Yea man and Dark Forces 2
I legit played the leapfrog starwars game, there was a couple of em
Vo Lock yeah and honestly it was concerningly fun
Vo Lock I want a mature Star Wars Expanded Universe Open World game where you can travel to different planets but the main planet being in Coruscant
@@tanletheorymarajadesateles6722 what does this have to do with the comment you have replied to?
Cobalius Fang I am a good person okay
Cobalius Fang I was just saying that I like a Mature R Rated Star Wars Game
I might be missing something, but what about the Clone Wars game on the DS? I remember that having lightsaber combat in it, as well as reflecting bolts back at droids
The way they describe saber combat in Lego Star Wars the skywalker saga previews..
I am excited.
You know we were waiting for the LEGO games to pop up
Jedi Academy. Man I've played that so many times over the years. First when I was 13. 29 now and still revisit it. The combat is still immensely fun. It's the closest I've felt to a jedi whilst playing a star wars game. Fallen Order is good. I'm enjoying it but I've never been a fan of Dark Souls gameplay. I'm not the most patient person lol
Jedi Outcast is for legends. Jedi Academy is for boys
Star Wars Empire at War, Acadamy, Battlefront 2, Force Unleashed, Republic Commando, the Wii Clone Wars Duel one, Super Star Wars and of Course the Lego ones shaped my childhood. Didn't realized until now how many Star Wars games I've played lol
Just played the revenge of the sith game and the dueling mode is mad fun. I was mashing buttons and discovering new combos lol.

Star wars Republic Heroes is first Star wars game I played! I love them!
Jedi Academy was awesome! The original XBox had some of my favorite games of all time and I miss playing the Star Wars games, especially Jedi Academy and Knights of the Old Republic.

Jedi knight series that's all ^^
12:30 Clone wars republic heroâs was amazing. I played that game all the time
I low key love the 1999 phantom menace game. It was somewhat ahead of it's time with the dialogue/rpg choices and the tatooine levels were nuts for the time.
The emperor ruled the Galaxy with his dance moves

Stacy Freeman Except I know how to deal with them: an automatic projectile weapon.
@@flare9757 can't deal with starkiller no one can

I just realized this video has a RZA beat! Sick!
I have a local arcade where I can go to play Star Wars Trilogy Arcade. It's every bit as fun in 2019 as it must have been back in 1998. I was only 3 when it came out.
First played it when I was about 6 at a skating rink, and left a lasting impression on me. They just don't make them like that anymore.
Also, I feel that you forgot about Star Wars Galaxies..
He left out the not only the best Star Wars game, as well as the Best MMO. Shame.
@Crumbsly you are confusing the relaunch where they changed the entire game, before that update there were lightsabers, and they were brutally bad ass. You need to google star wars galaxy pre cu servers.
@@JohnSmith-ne3oe still playing and loving it
@Crumbsly What Ryan said. Pre-CU SWG had lightsabers, but they were SUPER rare and incredibly powerful. Actually seeing someone with a lightsaber was a big deal, but they def existed.

I actually enjoyed it. Luke has this move (if ya do it correctly) where hes invulnerable from using the force, idk how to execute it but I did it tons of times as a kid when I had the game on a demo disc.
It's also Kasi. Kah-see. Not Kaysaiye or whatever he said. Very bad research by this channel. Not telling apart 2D and 3D graphics is telling, and there were SO MANY completely broken Star Wars games than it's far from being the worst one.

Jedi Outcast and Jedi Academy are still the peak of lightsaber combat. The unrestricted movevement the aimed swings is still something not reintroduced in a Star Wars game. There are certain improvements that can be done and even Jedi Fallen Order has some cool mechanics that could work in a new Jedi Knight installment (like accurate blaster deflections only work if you block at the right moment), but the industry is too afraid to limit itself to one platform (PC) to do it justice.
lol the video cameout on my bithday last year
