@@212th Kamino Uprising was orchestrated by a group of kaminoans. The clones just obeyed orders. And it didn't stop the cloning ,but they split it up into several smaller locations instead.
The clones might not all of them have liked jedi, but they wouldn't actually have rebelled against them without very good reasons (ie orders or self-defence) , because the jedi were considered as protectors of the republic, and they were indoctrinated to be loyal to the republic.
@@Robbini0 Still dangerous though. Palpatine couldn't risk it. Vader however did keep that technology on hand and also absorbed many "imprisoned" or "killed" clones into his own private army. Vader was kind of bad ass like that. From what I understand he had new clones that didn't suffer aging issues and were based off of many different Mandalorian warriors. Apparently he perfected the cloning process and was even able to make clones that were force sensitive. Palpatine may or may not have known, but he was certain that regardless of when his time came, Vader was going to handle things perfectly fine. He stopped being fooled by the angry man act after a while.
@@dragoneye6229 Even during the clone wars themselves, they were using smaller scale cloning facilities in other places, but those clones were even more of a rush job and worse quality.
I'm not really sure if they did anything about the accelerated aging (haven't read that many star wars novels), but atleast Clan Skirata did solve it, but they sort of did it quite illegally, and they didn't really have a lot of clones (they were primarily clones, but still not too many)

The company that was airing the clone wars show at the time was a competitor of Disney, and when Disney bought the ip they refused to let them air the last season. The episodes were then just let sitting for several years privately until Disney decided to release them on Disney Plus.

Palpatine is a Sith Lord. The Sith are portrayed in SW as pure evil, the devil or Satan, according to those religions, is the pure manifestation of evil, and the Jedi are portrayed as (not completely, but mostly of the time) as the manifestation of good.
So it makes sense, too.

I liked legends explanation better. Clones were hardened, emotionless, perfect soldiers brainwashed to believe everything the Republic said or did. That way it is a lot less convenient and more impactful when a clone deliberately disobeys a direct Republic-wide order. If Rex(or other clones) knew about the Order but instead, say, grew to love and appreciate Ahsoka/other jedi, then he would understand how corrupt the Republic truly is, and not comply with the Order, instead of just being like "oh well the chip malfunctions or something". I don't know, I appreciate that arc a lot more.
Jacey521 I think you’re grossly simplifying and underplaying the canon arc of order 66 in favor of your bias towards the legends explanation. Not to mention that there is quite a bit of overlap between the two. However I do understand where you’re coming from. I think you can argue for the emotional impact of the clone betrayal in either. But the fact that in legends the clones truly didn’t have high (or any) respect for their Jedi generals and only a handful of the commanders and captains who were close to their Jedi counterparts grew attached is very interesting. I think you can argue that clones with much love and respect for their Jedi comrades being forced into betraying them is just as emotionally investing, and this is coming from someone who first read about the legends explanations and loved it. Plus it makes perfect sense. The emperor would want air tight compliance and obedience from the clones and as little chance for mutiny as possible. Can’t just trust all your clones on a grand scale at near 100% success rate to turn on their commanders and generals whom they fought alongside for years and many battles on the mere basis of ideology and chain of command. The chips make a lot of sense and goes back to attack of the clones if you listen to what the kaminoans are saying about their development.

The feeling was the Jedi cared more about ending the insurrection, killing Dooku, more then the lives of their troops. Before the show, clones were not significant at all, just perfectly brainwashed killing machines with no individuality or personality. I think you are thinking about this from the shows perspective, rather then how it originally was.

I actually like watching this video after season 7 of clone wars shows us what actually happened with Rex, he didn’t remove his after, but rather kinda during it. The most confusing and troubling moments for him. It’s somethin that shook him to the core. No, amount of training could’ve prepared him for that!

I recommend it friend. Gives a lot of backstory and lore and greatly increases Anakin's fall to the darkside and what led him there. The last season of the Clone Wars actually overlaps with episode 3 itself. Give it a watch!

The story of Able is awesome and sad. A brave soldier abandoned after the loss of his comrades, living for decades off the land. Eventually seeing men fighting militia in armor similar to his, he threw on his old armor and charged to fight for the “Republic.” The people he thought his allies believed him to be a traitor or rebel, firing on him. He managed to barely escape only to encounter the militia he was ready to fight, and after discussing he realized how wrong he was. The veteran then proceeded to fight for a new and truer cause.

Omega Squad was far more depressing if you read the source material. His wife dies, one of his brothers were injured, he couldn't come home to Mandalore to see his son for a long time. His future, his chance to live a normal life with actual choices was completely shattered in one night.
God it really makes me sad thinking about order 66, and it's just so messed up.

I was happy to stumble upon this vid. Now that I think of it, there’s always gonna be a crack in the system and this concept creates a more believable story. There was a comic series that followed delta squad after they left that wookie planet (Don't know how to spell it) but it got canned when lucas arts went downhill, and they still technically have the license, so that also really can't continue.
