- In this video I show how to create web hosting packages that you can resell to your customers. At NameHero we offer much more than just disk space and bandwidth. We have tons of premium features such as LiteSpeed cache, one-click WordPress staging/installs, Cloudflare w/Railgun, etc. which you can define in your packages - increasing the cost based on features. This is a great way to optimize ROI all while building strong relationships with your customers (they’ll love the features).

I just watched your video today as I couldn't find any helpful resources on Google.
Thank you so much, for going through the "features list"
You covered all the technical details I was unaware of.

Greatly appreciate your time in assisting us with the related reseller hosting info! Thanks much!
You're most welcome! Glad to help!
Thanks, going to watch a few more of your videos before I sign up.
Thanks for this information, it’s a lot to learn. Keep them coming; more packages examples and using more features would be so cool.
This was invaluable!!! Thank you, I'll be living on your channel now!!
Thank you so much with your clear tutorial you make me understanding
One of best and full of knowledge for starters 👍👍👍👌👌👌
Excellent video! Thank you!
You're most welcome!!
Great man, you are doing excellent job
Hey Ryan,
Is there any plans on making a video talking a bit about all/the main the CPanel features? Thanks!
man , do you read my thoughts before your share the videos :D you are awesome
Yes, I'm a mind reader :) Heheh - just kidding! Glad I was able to help though!!
I have a reseller account with you guys, so far I like the service, server performance and your tutorials. I started with another provider just for hosting my personal sites but I will be moving them. Their server performance is slow and they always blame it on my webistes lol.
Glad to hear things are working out well with us but also sorry to hear of the issues with your other hosting provider! I think it is important to test your website with GTMetrix to see if there are some "on-site" optimizations you can make, but we also show specific server stats inside of cPanel so you can make sure it's not a "server issue." We thank you for your business and look forward to helping further!
I smell hostgator 👀 Used them for a while and got baited into the "add-on domain" as multiple websites... Learn from your mistakes i guess
Great video, the method of explaining is excellent, learn lots of things from your videos, i really impressed your method of explaining, love & respect from Pakistan
Just imagine if we create 4 different hosting packages, and all these having same resource limit like inodes,io,iops, then definitely customer will think twice because from low cost plan to high cost plan having same limits that's weird difficult to sustain.
Hi name hero ;)
Hey
I have a question for you , in you gold reseller package , in option you ask if we want to offer our customer easy drag and drop website builder ... but if we dont offer it , is the primary account have easy drag and drop installed (mean without extra fees)???
And if yes , is the silver package got it too ???
Thanks for your quick answer
Have a good day
Good question! All accounts have a "limited' version of the SitePad drag and drop editor - but it is very limited (i.e. only 3 web pages, 3 blog posts, 1 website, etc.). If you purchase that option, it allows for unlimited websites, pages, blog posts, etc. ;)
Hey Ryan was wondering if you have a type of cheat sheet for us resellers. Based off the reseller package we have such as me for example. Being brand new is there anything that would guide us like. What type of hardware were using the ram stats the OS just valuable info to have incase customers want to know. Im sure it's located in the blog. But a PDF of each package downloadable would be awesome
If possible
Thanks for your feedback Thomas! I'm working on all new "Quick Start" guides for all our products, including Reseller packages. Over the next several weeks, I'll be finishing these up and will hopefully have them out right after the New Year holiday!
@@NameHero awesome thanks Ryan
Im new with you guys and have been following your videos. I setup everything in WMHCS as shown but I offer monthly and up to 3 years but when I test the checkout it doesn't calculate the whole cost for a year only the discounted rate is due at checkout any other videos on fixing this issue
Welcome to NameHero! Sorry to hear you're having issues! Feel free to log a ticket in our support interface and our team will check to see if it's a misconfiguration or an issue that needs to be brought-up to the WHMCS support team!
@@NameHero got it figured out just had to add the full cost of yearly to the full price of the year. I thought it would automatically do the calculation.
Hey Ryan,
one question : In case my WHMC or WHMCS gets hacked and someone deleted everything, I need a backup of my customers sites too in order to restore them.
Would you recommend connecting the account to a service like dropbox in order have backups?
It does not seem like the 24 hour backups you offer, have enough protection in a case like that...
We backup your primarily Reseller domain (i.e. the one with WHMCS) as well as ALL your customer cPanel accounts nightly and weekly 100% free of charge. Now, it's always a good idea to download some of these backups / have your own copies just incase, but we do make every effort to have all of your data backed up and secured.
@@NameHero Thanks
This tutorial is somewhat old now, but I hope to get an answer to my rookie question. In order to have a customer sign up for a service by themselves, then I have to have WHMCS? I cannot have them go to my webshosting website and create an account if I only have WHM?
WHMCS automates the process - so yes, you'd need to have it. With just WHM, you have to manually setup their account.
@@NameHero Thank you very much for your reply. I am learning a lot from your videos
I have confusion in like what is 60 client account in gold and 100 clients account in diamond package.
Does this means only 60 customer's can buy from my hosting company.
Can you also describe how to make coupon codes for customers?
Sure, checkout; czcams.com/video/GDbR0sN1mWE/video.html
Can you discuss how the payments are processed and posted?
Using WHMCS you integrate PayPal, Stripe, or another merchant account to process.
What is the feature that allows the owner of site to be hidden from any spammers or lookups online? Basically to be discreet and no one to know who owns the site ?
This is ID Protection which is added upon domain registration/transfer.
Do these packages work with apps? Say if I have an app building company
Yes, but it depends on the type of "App" you're developing. For example, you may develop an iOS app which you'd have to actually include the files in your app packages, but if you're making PHP/Database calls, you would use your hosting to incorporate that.
Hey one more question about starting a web hosting business (I am that 14yo guy)
Is it good to code the website myself or does Wordpress also work for this, as I don't know about HTML, CSS and JS very much yet?
Congratulations on getting started! I remember my excitement at that age, you have such a bright future ahead! I would HIGHLY recommend going with WordPress and not worry about learning HTML, CSS, JS yet. As you gain more experience, you can learn along the way. But WordPress will put you years ahead - I wish it was as advanced as it is now when I got started!
@@NameHero Thank you so much! I'll just buy some domains first and sell them for profit and then I'll buy my dream domain (which I don't know yet) and start the company on that! Thanks!!
Hi Ryan, Would clients hosting videos cause a big issue on the bandwidth consumed?
is there any way to regulate that
The way around this is; video hosting should be done with CZcams or Vimeo today. If your clients are concerned about the videos being added to the CZcams search engine algorithm, they can upload the video on CZcams and set it to "Unlisted" so that it YT's SEO bots are not able to index the video.
Vimeo on the other hand is loved by businesses because on Vimeo you can control video downloads or protection from downloads and the Google wide content indexing.
Either way,, in 2022, the solution for video hosting on websites is host your videos on video hosting platforms like CZcams & Vimeo.
I hope this helps let me know.
@@Bobcoolyoung Hi thanks a bunch for your feedback and details. Appreciate it, buddy.
Hi Ryan, great video! How do I know how much disk quota I can give to my customers? If I have the Gold Reseller Package and I have 60 clients with a total of 75gb disk space, does that mean I can only give each customer max 1,25gb each? I saw you gave 5gb in your basic package... Just trying to understand. All help is appreciated. Thanks!
nope.. you can give them 10gb per package or example.. basically you are overselling.. chances are no one will use those 10gbs.. as long as they don't physically use 75 gb in total for example, then you're good.. if you go above 75gb, you add another reseller package
@@dandrevs okey! Thank you so much for your help! I appreciate it!
Hey sir can i host more than 100 client with your reseller plan?
Yes, but you'd need to purchase an additional Reseller account. Using WHMCS, you can have multiple Reseller packages which makes all of this possible :)
@@NameHero thanks
The voice is noisy if stopped talking
Thanks for letting me know. I'll check my audio settings - I added some new filters that prob need to be adjusted a bit more!
This is all a scam
What's a scam?
And then u try saying I need to buy the vps hosting so why would I buy vps hosting when I just been scammed
Notice how my hosting is suspended dayzvps.com :)
What do you mean hitting. Your website. If your meaning it was hacked or compromised by malware or virus then you would have to clean that up first. Did you get an email or anything
Thomas Mcdaniel it was under a ddos attack but the bandwidth wasn’t being send the the backend IP it was being sent to the cloudflare
