I think affiliation can make better profit if you do it for short term, but if you target for like 5-10 yrs, hosting business can be profitable too, but it takes much more time for customer supports and handling clients. I think I'll stick to affiliation. My honest review on this one.

Hi, great video. One question. I set up taxes in WHMCS for my country. Foreign clients do not have to pay taxes. So that's fine. But why is hostiko not recalculating the order without VAT for foreign clients when A foreign VAT number is entered in checkout?

Watched the whole thing, great video! Affiliate option was mentioned at the start of the name hero section, but it was never covered. This is an option within WHMCS but does it allow someone to offer my hosting in exchange for repeated commission? Is it all tracked and paid out automatically?

I know this is possible to sell in my country, but my question is - is it possible to present both the webpage (i guess yes) - the cpanel (is this also a yes) into danish? - AND - can i present the prices in a different currency - (ps - im from denmark, so danish and danish crone is what im looking for) :) ?

That's exactly what I thought as well. If the support is not handled by NameHero, then the whole thing is a moo point.
Namehero handles all support. For example if there was something wrong with the server you would call name hero and they would fix it for you, they can also adjust memory and bandwidth for certain clients if you ever need that. The client will contact you, then you would contact name hero. That’s one key benefit of reseller hosting

So ideally it requires someone to monitor the support mailbox regularly and to then contact Namehero when there is a problem.
That sounds feasible, although to provide good support, I would probably need to hire someone on a different timezone whilst I'm sleeping 💤

@@MarkDendy I did some reading on NameHero site. They do state the reseller has to provide 1st line support which is pretty much triaging the ticket and then passing it on. Also comms with the customer.

Thanks for making the video. I'm very tech savvy and was able to follow it exactly how you mentioned. My only issue is the theme doesn't install exactly how it should (a lot of it needed to be adjusted to fit correctly). I'm also having huge issues with my checkout pages...While checking for a domain the icons spins forever and then the cart goes to a 404.

When linking the bridge page Im getting this problem when checking for problems in the help tab :
Cache check results: Cache headers found in HTTP requests. A cache plugin was detected
If you are making changes (eg: whmcs template) and it's not updating your WHMCS bridge page, or if you are seeing other users details when logged in (or logged in users details without logging in) then you need to please disable cache for the whmcs bridge page and all child pages.

Hey Darrel, not sure if you can help or have seen this issue. I did what you have done in the video but once I go to the whmcs bridge part of the website, when I scroll down the back up the header for the whmcs is behind the Hostiko website header and stays there. It doesn't sit under the Hostiko as it should.

Hey This was a pretty dope video. At this point some of the whmcs website looks different but overall I was able to get everything figured out.
One thing I am stuck on is, At the end of the vide when Ryan did a sample of a client purchasing a domain. Once i clicked shopping cart the page was redirected to a 404 error.
Do you guys know what I missed that the shopping cart is not connected? everything else is working fine.

@@ThangNguyen-gq8qu unfortunately no.. I will say the namehero support was great. Seems there is an issue with the whmcs bridge which is a third party. I contacted them and they said to contact the theme people and they told me to go back to namehero. I already dedicated as much time as I could do building this project out so I decided to get a refund from NameHero.
I’m starting to think just an affiliate link to these hosting platforms will be more cost effective
