    This video is impressive! I do videos myself, and I know how complex they are. The video is made in one shot and explains how to create a hosting reseller website, explaining possible issues. I am a very programmer with little time. However, I decided to spend the 1:13 hours to fully see it. The next day, I watched it again, doing exactly what was shown in the video. It took me 3 days to complete. I ran into a couple of issues, but the video showed the solution to them. At the end of the fourth day, my site was running, and it took around 3 more days to finish all the customizations.

      It's great to hear that you successfully set up a hosting reseller website by following the video tutorial, especially given your busy schedule as a programmer. Your dedication in watching the video multiple times and applying the instructions over several days is commendable. Overcoming challenges and customizing your site demonstrates your skill and commitment. If you have any insights from your experience, consider sharing them to help others. Best of luck with your new website!

    Is it possible to change the Phox logo at the top left of the page header? Ideally we want to use our custom logo

    • @VerpexHosting
      @VerpexHosting  Před 4 měsíci

      Yes, it is possible to change the Phox theme logo to your custom logo in your website's header. Here's a general guide on how to do it, keeping in mind that the exact steps may vary slightly depending on the version of the Phox theme and your website setup:
      1) Access Theme Options:
      Log in to your WordPress dashboard.
      Navigate to the theme options panel. In most cases, for the Phox theme, this will be located under 'Appearance' > 'Theme Options', or it might directly appear as 'Phox' or 'Options' in the dashboard menu.
      2)Locate Logo Settings:
      Within the theme options, look for a tab or section labeled 'Header', 'Logo', or something similar.
      In this section, you will find options to change or upload your logo.
      3)Upload Your Custom Logo:
      Click the option to upload or change the logo.
      Select your custom logo from your media library, or upload a new file.
      Ensure your logo is of the appropriate size and format as recommended by the theme for optimal display.
      4)Save Changes:
      After uploading your logo, make sure to save the changes.
      5)Check Your Website:
      Visit your website to confirm that the new logo is displaying correctly.
      Clear your website cache and browser cache if the changes don't appear immediately.
      If you encounter any difficulties or if the options seem different, you can always consult the Phox theme documentation or contact their support for more detailed guidance specific to your version of the theme.

    Great Video! Do you need WHMCS bridging page or you can set up without it?

    • @VerpexHosting
      @VerpexHosting  Před rokem +3

      Whether you need a WHMCS bridging page depends on if you're integrating it with another system like a CMS (e.g. WordPress). If yes, a bridge is necessary. If you're only using WHMCS for managing web hosting without integration, no bridging page is needed.

    Quick question, I see on the reviews that there is allot of problems with the WHMCS brigde plugin🤦🏽 do you generally come across any issues with that plugin, does it actually work quite good? I am currently doing hosting for clients using the reseller hosting package but I want to expand my website to a reseller hosting website where new clients can register domain names and automatically set up hosting from our website (basically what you did on this video) but before I tackle this project I will really appreciate it if you can let me know
    If it works all good and its not as bad as the reviews say, I will definitely do it
    I always appreciate your videos

      WHMCS Bridge can work well if your server meets the requirements and the plugin is properly configured. However, it may have compatibility issues with some themes or plugins. I recommend testing in a staging environment before going live. Despite mixed reviews, it's often about the correct setup and dealing with any issues as they arise. Keep backups and don't hesitate to reach out to the plugin's support or consider professional help if needed. Good luck with your project!

    Very detailed video, well done! So if customers were to click on the client area / login , would it just take them to their cpanel or whmcs panel where they can control their own packages / servers? as i stumbled upon a theme called "Responsive WHMCS Client Area Template" and from finding this, im guessing when customers log in it'll take them to a whmcs panel where they can control things and this is just an extra theme to enhance the whmcs client panel even further? I hope this comment makes sense hehe, thank you ever so much for the video again!

    • @VerpexHosting
      @VerpexHosting  Před 9 měsíci

      Thank you for your kind words about the video! I'm glad you found it detailed and helpful.
      To answer your question, yes, typically when customers click on the "client area" or "login" button on a website that's integrated with WHMCS, they are taken to their client panel where they can manage their hosting packages, domains, servers, and other related services. The actual appearance and functionality of this client panel can differ based on the theme or template that's used.
      The "Responsive WHMCS Client Area Template" that you mentioned is one such theme that enhances the look and feel of the WHMCS client panel. It's designed to provide a more streamlined and user-friendly experience for customers. So when they log in, they'll indeed be taken to a WHMCS panel, but with the added aesthetics and functionalities that the theme offers.
      I hope this clears things up! If you have any more questions or need further clarification, feel free to ask. And thank you for watching and engaging with the content!

    Hey man, great video, I was just wondering if WHCMS is compatible with any theme. I did purchase the phox theme, but I would much rather build my site out in Gutenberg with the tools I use regularly. What exactly was the need to purchase the phox theme?

    • @VerpexHosting
      @VerpexHosting  Před 2 měsíci

      Hey, thanks for the positive feedback on the video! WHMCS is designed to be quite flexible and can be integrated with various WordPress themes, but not all themes are optimized for it out of the box. The Phox theme you purchased is specifically built for hosting services and is pre-optimized for WHMCS, which makes setup smoother and provides specialized features and designs suitable for a hosting business.
      If you prefer to build your site using Gutenberg, you can certainly do that. You might need to use additional plugins or custom code to ensure full compatibility between WHMCS and your chosen Gutenberg blocks. The reason for recommending a theme like Phox is to streamline the integration process and offer a design tailored for hosting services. However, with some customization, you can achieve a similar level of integration and design consistency using Gutenberg and other tools you are more comfortable with. Let me know if you need any tips on making this setup work!

    • @efeleven
      @efeleven Před 2 měsíci

      @@VerpexHosting I appreciate the response, after working with the theme for a big I can see how it would streamline the process a little bit for sure. Verpex has been great I'm glad I gave it a shot. One not e I would say was a disappointment though would be the WHMCS bridge plugin, I think it would be worth stressing in your video that the plugin has a lot of issues and currently no active support. There's a very common problem you can see on just about every forum where people are getting 404 errors during the checkout process. I was able to work around this eventually by setting up some redirects, but anyone with less technical skills would be out of luck. Great video though!

    Very Insightful tutorial, I have followed the steps and everything works perfectly except for 2 issues. 1) The login button on the front page of the website, I think it needs extra configuration which you didn't mention. please i need help on how to link it and get it working. 2) I wish to as how do i export my database from the old whmcs to the newly setup whmcs in order not to lose my client's info?

    • @VerpexHosting
      @VerpexHosting  Před 4 měsíci

      I'm glad to hear that the tutorial was helpful and that you've successfully progressed with your WHMCS installation. Let's address your two issues:
      1)Configuring the Login Button on the Front Page:
      The login button on your website should link to the WHMCS client area. Normally, this URL looks something like yourdomain.com/whmcs/clientarea.php, where yourdomain.com/whmcs is the directory where WHMCS is installed.
      To link the button, you need to edit the HTML or CMS settings of your website. Locate the code for the button and set its href attribute to the URL of your WHMCS client area.
      If your website is using a Content Management System (CMS) like WordPress, you may need to edit the menu item or button settings in the CMS dashboard.
      2) Exporting and Importing the Database from Old to New WHMCS:
      Export Database: Access your old WHMCS database via a tool like phpMyAdmin. Select the database and use the "Export" option. Choose a format (typically SQL) and export the database.
      Create a Backup: Before importing, it's crucial to create a backup of your new WHMCS database as a precaution.
      Import Database: In phpMyAdmin for your new WHMCS installation, access the database where you want to import the old data. Use the "Import" option to import the SQL file you exported from your old database.
      Update Configuration: After importing, you might need to update the WHMCS configuration file (configuration.php) with any new database details if they have changed.
      A few important notes:
      Ensure compatibility between the versions of WHMCS you are exporting from and importing to. Incompatibilities can lead to errors.
      Test everything in a staging environment first, if possible, to avoid disrupting live services.
      If you're not comfortable with handling databases, consider seeking help from a professional to avoid data loss or corruption.
      Remember, handling databases involves sensitive data. Ensure that you maintain security protocols to protect your clients' information.

    Question: at 8:35 or so, you note that the "gold" and "silver" packages have been disabled because they allow "unlimited bandwidth" - but when you go back to the basic reseller page seconds later, you can see that it allows for "unlimited bandwidth" - is there something I'm missing? While installing WHMCS it says
    The following errors were found :
    Required PHP extension not found : ionCube Loader

    • @VerpexHosting
      @VerpexHosting  Před 4 měsíci

      The error message "Required PHP extension not found: ionCube Loader" indicates that the ionCube Loader extension is not installed or enabled on your server. WHMCS requires ionCube Loader to function properly, as it is used to encode and secure PHP files. To resolve this issue, follow these steps:
      1) Install ionCube Loader:
      Download the appropriate ionCube Loader version for your PHP version from the ionCube website.
      Upload the ionCube Loader files to your web server.
      2)Enable ionCube Loader in PHP:
      Edit the php.ini file on your server to include the ionCube Loader extension. This typically involves adding a line like zend_extension = "/path/to/ioncube_loader_lin_x.x.so", where x.x is your PHP version and the path is where you uploaded ionCube Loader.
      3)Restart the Web Server:
      After making changes to php.ini, you need to restart your web server (e.g., Apache, Nginx) for the changes to take effect.
      4)Verify Installation:
      Create a PHP file with the phpinfo() function and access it from your browser. This will show you if ionCube Loader is installed and enabled.
      5)Re-run WHMCS Installation:
      Once ionCube Loader is installed and enabled, try installing WHMCS again.
      If you're not comfortable performing these steps or don't have access to your server configuration, you may need to contact your hosting provider for assistance. At Verpex, support team is available 24/7

    Whats the right way to get clients? PPC Ads?

    • @VerpexHosting
      @VerpexHosting  Před 2 měsíci

      Great question! PPC (Pay-Per-Click) ads can be a very effective way to attract clients quickly, especially when you target specific keywords related to hosting services. However, the right strategy often involves a mix of different marketing tactics. Consider combining PPC with SEO (Search Engine Optimization) to capture organic traffic, content marketing to build authority, and social media marketing to engage with potential clients directly. It’s also valuable to focus on building a strong reputation through excellent customer service and reliable hosting performance. Diversifying your marketing efforts will help you reach a broader audience and find clients more effectively. Good luck!

      To integrate a reseller package with your website without purchasing WHMCS, you can use alternative billing and automation software like Blesta, HostBill, or ClientExec. These platforms offer similar functionalities for managing clients, billing, and support. Alternatively, you can also use custom scripts or third-party APIs provided by your reseller hosting provider to integrate directly into your website, though this may require more technical expertise in web development. Remember to ensure that the solution you choose is compatible with your hosting provider's system and meets your business needs.

    Unfortunately, I contacted your company twice via the support email in order to obtain answers to some inquiries regarding hosting the reseller, but I did not receive any response at all, and that was enough for me to judge your support services, so if your services are like this regarding pre-sale services, then what I have to expect after purchase!🤐

    Verpex client area and reseller client area are not the same. Verpex client area look quite different from the Reseller Client area. Why

    • @VerpexHosting
      @VerpexHosting  Před měsícem +1

      Thank you for pointing that out! The Verpex client area and the reseller client area are designed to serve different purposes and user needs, which is why they look different.
      Verpex Client Area: This is tailored for end-users who purchase hosting services directly from Verpex. It focuses on providing a user-friendly interface for managing individual hosting accounts, billing, and support requests. The design prioritizes ease of use for non-technical users.
      Reseller Client Area: This area is designed for resellers who manage multiple client accounts. It includes additional features and tools necessary for resellers to manage their clients, such as account creation, resource allocation, and billing management. The interface is more comprehensive to accommodate the needs of resellers who are running their own hosting businesses.
      The differences in design and functionality ensure that each user group has the tools and interface they need to efficiently manage their respective tasks. If you have any specific concerns or need further assistance with navigating either client area, feel free to ask!

    Hello, I think you made a mistake, while linking plans directly from webpage to url/billing/ which is plain ugly whmcs, instead of using whmcs bridge, I mean what is Wordpress whmcs bridge plugin for if you are not using it.

    • @VerpexHosting
      @VerpexHosting  Před 11 měsíci +1

      Hello, thank you for your feedback. We strive for the best user experience, and your point about the direct link to the billing page is well taken. The WordPress WHMCS Bridge plugin indeed offers a more seamless integration between the two platforms. In the video, we aimed to cover a range of methods, but we can see how using the Bridge plugin could provide a more streamlined approach. We'll consider this in our future content. Your input is highly appreciated.

    Can my clients can buy these products if I create my own hosting website?

    • @VerpexHosting
      @VerpexHosting  Před 2 měsíci +1

      Absolutely! When you set up your own reseller hosting website, you’ll be able to offer various hosting products such as shared hosting, VPS, dedicated servers, and possibly additional services like domain registration and SSL certificates, depending on your reseller plan. Your clients can purchase these directly from your website. Make sure to set up an intuitive shopping cart and secure payment gateway to facilitate smooth transactions. Additionally, using tools like WHMCS can help automate the billing and management processes, making it easier for you and your clients. If you need tips on setting this up, feel free to ask!
