  • This video shows you some 5-minute Qigong for tinnitus and ringing in the ears. It's a simple Qigong meditation exercise and all you need to do is close your eyes and follow my voice! This exercise also benefits the kidney system, fluid balance, helps regulate blood pressure and encourages Qi flow through the lower back because of the close connection between the ears and the Kidney system in Traditional Chinese Medine and Qigong.

    I’m Dr Janice Tucker. Since 2000, I have been sharing medical Qigong with thousands of students and clients to help them live healthier lives; physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually.
    These simple methods will show you how to:
    • relax mentally and emotionally to reduce stress;
    • enhance your health by adjusting your breathing and posture;
    • practice medical Qigong meditations to calm and clear a busy mind;
    • use morning Qigong exercises to get a great start to your day and manage any pre-existing health conditions;
    • energise your body and put a spring in your step so that you feel younger.
    My passion lies in adapting Qigong exercises for people aged 40+ so that they feel relaxed and energised, not exhausted, at the end of their practice. Tinnitus comes from the brain, not always from the ears. It's a good meditation, though. Thank you for your videos.

    I've been getting tinnitus a lot this week, it's as if some hidden energies and frequencies are being lifted away from us and our brains are now able to hear things that, not too long ago, we could not. Thank you.

      That's a very interesting point to consider Kyle. Thank you for taking the time to share that. I hope this little technique is of help to you. Best wishes, Janice.

      Hi Helena, I would say 1-3 times per day, every day if you can but only for a few minutes each time.

    Janice, thank you for this qigong for tinnitus. Tinnitus is new to me. I had an episode about a month ago that I treated with qigong successfully. Today, it returned. I did the same treatment just before watching your version. The noise remained. I watched this and the whoosing inside my head is now gone. I love you for this. Qigong is incredible. ☮❤

    I've suffered with the tinnitus since '86 since a car accident with whiplash..I've recently talked to a friend and put these 2 events together.. he told me of a Dr in Gainesville fl from Jamaica that treated his mother for this about 20 yrs ago..they seem to think that after an accident like whiplash the ear crystals become dislodged and that causes the ringing...the treatment was some kind of way to get into the ear and dissolve the crystals .
    This is a new theory to me..
    I'd love to get to the bottom of the ringing..for now the only thing louder is crickets..

      Sorry to hear that this has been with you since 1986. You might find it helpful to seek out a Chinese medicine/acupuncture practitioner to help you. It might take a while to improve, if at all, as it has been present for so long, but it is worth trying. Hopefully this simple exercise will have some impact but you will need to practice every day for a while to give it a chance to make a difference. Wishing you the best of luck in getting to the root cause of this. Best wishes, Janice.

      Not dangerous at all. The worst it can do for you is nothing at all so definitely worth trying a few times per day for a couple of weeks. 🙂
