- Flying the Cessna C310Q is fun. Even in hot weather. This is a long video. More than 1 hour in length. This video shows operation of the Cessna C310 from startup to shutdown, excluding some cruise portions, cockpit tour, of a 2.5 hour flight from Raleigh, NC (KRDU) to Palatka, FL (28J) which is near Jacksonville, FL. This video also describes the avionics available in this 1974 C310Q. Watch the entire video or skip to portions of interest. Post comments and ask questions if desired. The flight covers some 514 miles in 2.5 hours using 68 gallons of 100LL (AVGAS). The purpose of this channel is to promote GA use as a viable alternative to commercial air in some missions, of course. Enjoy!!
Arthur, you are one of the most unassuming, professional, competent, cool, and heartwarming guys, best to you always, and I hope you , your family and your career ends up being a splendid journey
WE HAD TO WARM UP THE PLANT FOR 24 HRS. BEFORE STEAM ADMISSION AND BLOW DOWN.THEN WE WERE READY TO ANSWER ALL BELLS.
The only guy I know that gives you a blow by blow. Is a fantastic teacher in a great classroom!
These long form videos are AWESOME! I feel like I am there. Thanks, Mr. Billingsley!
The sound of the engines and the warm cabin would put me to sleep pretty quick.
You don't Completely trust Autopilot but you do...I feel the Same way about My Big Truck GPS😅👍🏻
Love the videos! The most uncomfortable part of a flight on a hot day is when they tell you to line up and wait, and you don't have air conditioning. You have to close the door and sit there with no airflow.
Good ole Raleigh
Piloting and sweating!!
Great video
Thanks Arthur. I’m a new pilot and somewhat overwhelmed at the radio and avionics management and find your videos very helpful in connecting the dots. Thank you for sharing your skill with us.
This aircraft was designed and built by the greatest generation..you can tell everytime you climb behind the yoke. Solid and powerful..I love it..miss mine.
Very nice video-Im from Palatka-born and raised now living in Memphis.Tn-will retire in about two years-interested in learning to fly-looking to purchase a piper mirage soon-thanks

I have just spent 2 minutes - on and off - trying to wipe some schmuk from my iPad screen. It was a bug on the Cessna windscreen.
