There is a "checked by (ACRO officer)" and someone's initial, but nothing that really looks like a signature or formal, other than the watermarked certificate paper with shiny logo. I'm just nervous now that the apostille website is giving me an option for an ACRO police certificate *without* a signature - which then tells me I need to get it notarised. Have I gotten the wrong ACRO certificate?
Or is the signature just this initial, on the official paper with shiny logo. And I should just go ahead with the apostille.

I have a question regarding the police clearance certificate .
I had been staying in UAE on multiple Visit Visas. I changed to a new visit visa once every three months by travelling to Oman and returning on the same day itself. After 6 months I went to India for once one again for same 6 months .So in effect, I have been staying in UAE continuously for almost a year (. But not sure it will consider as a row )and is therefore required to submit UAE Police Clearance Certificate along with my PR application. However, when I tried to apply online, I found that only residence visa holders would be given a PCC here, and since I am on visit, I am ineligible to apply for one.
If I arrange my pcc from uae if it valid after 6 months
So I am now confused as to what I can do in this situation.
Can you give me a suggestion

The website, however, is pretty unfriendly.. because it doesn't let me save. I filled it all out, and reached Step 6 (Documents), and had to scan a few documents... there was no save option... so I have to now start all over again :(

( main applicant my wife and im her depedant ) and we come back in india 2012 now before 1 year im apply for canada pr visa so canadian visa officer need uk pcc so im already applied and my wife got pcc with no trace but i dont get any acknowledgement letter so what happened.....?

Hi Ali. I am from Tajikistan but I have been to China since June, 2019. I got my PCC from Tajikistan in February, 2019. PCCs are valid for 6 months. Will I have to get a NEW PCC when I submit my application? I have never been to Tajikistan after I got that February, 2019 PCC though
Since Tajikistan is your citizenship country. I recommend getting a fresh PCC after receiving ITA.

Well you'll need another pcc to cover your last day :-)
And, I got my acro pcc in 2020, submitted to ircc in 2021. Hope it helps.

Typically six months. But, if you studies in UK 5 years ago, it is valid even after six months as you are never going back to the UK
