    I am confused if there should be 1 or 2 applications. I as the sponsor, I do not make an application right? Only the applicant (person being sponsored) makes an application. I put my sponsor forms inside the applicants application if I understand correctly. So there is only 1 application total.

      Hi don’t worry, anyone would get confused especially doing this application. Primary applicant will open the profile as I have shown in video and you as sponsor will provide all required sponsor document which will be attached by applicant along with other relevant documents. Go slow, organize everything and you will be good. If you feel anything needs explanation and will make it easy for reviewing person use letter of explanation. LMK if you are stuck anywhere.

      Hi I am aware CGI in US issue non availability of birth certificate to Indian citizens. Can you check with CGI in Canada if they do so. If you get it add that in explanation section and upload passport in birth certificate section. If not you can add the reason for not having birth certificate. If born in village you can add that in letter of explanation with documents like Indian driving license, marks card and passport having the date of birth mentioned. As long as it is consistent and conveyes the person identity with DOB it should not be a problem

    Hi, My parents lived in Canada for more than 6 Months on a visitor visa. in the previous country of residence section, it asks for the start date and end date of immigration status. What start date and end date do I have to enter? is it their travel dates to Canada or the visitor visa start date and expiry date?

    • @canadatriedandtestedoriginal
      @canadatriedandtestedoriginal  Před 2 měsíci

      In IMM 0008, you need to provide the dates that reflect your parents' actual stay in Canada if they lived there for more than six months on a visitor visa not the visa start and expiry date. This is as per logic, I suggest you do your due diligence to be sure of this as I am not a immigration consultant but an applicant like you.

      For the proof of relationship, you would have submitted India passport during PR. Give the UCI reference as India passport has both parents name. Let me know if you don’t find it

      Hi has IRCC asked for PCC now. If not it is not required. I am not sure your marriage year. India has a mandate that anyone who is married after 2000’s needs to have a marriage certificate. Is there any other document to establish your marriage? Anywhere both husband and wife are mentioned? Like bank account, property document etc. with these document and letter of explanation I would have added notarized affidavit that we don’t have marriage certificate however these documents which are there for ages establish the relationship. Again I am no expert applicant like you. If possible apply for marriage registration certificate.

      In absence of birth certificate, please use letter of explanation and mention the reason why birth certificate is not available(for example birth in village where no official record maintained earlier or was not mandatory) and instead 10th certificate has date of birth mentioned and so is passport(their date of birth will be mentioned) and that should suffice. Upload 10th certificate in this section.

    Hello, In Section D of the online from it says the following :
    Section D: Personal history
    Provide the details of your personal history for the past 10 years, or since your 18th birthday if it was less than 10 years ago. Start with the most recent information. Under “Activity,” write your occupation or job title if you were working. If you were not working, provide information on what you were doing (for example, unemployed, studying, travelling, retired, in detention). If you were outside your country or territory of nationality, indicate your status in the country or territory you were in. Note: Please ensure that you do not leave any gaps in time
    But In IMM 5771E ( Document checklist) it says in #3 :
    Note : For Section D, if the principal applicant or a dependent has not worked in the past 10 years (e.g., the are retired), they must provide details of their personal history since the age of 18

      For Current country of residence on form IMM 0008, mention Canada since she is on supervisa. She should list her current country of residence as Canada. This accurately reflects her living situation and ensures that IRCC processes her application with the understanding that she is in Canada. Also add this remark in Letter of Explanation additionally. This will help ensure that any requests for medical exams, passport submissions, and other requirements are sent to her in Canada rather than India, aligning with your preference and practical needs.
