  • This is a day in my life as a mom of two. Being a mom of two can be hard! And Mom guilt is real! Thanks to Made Lemonade for sponsoring this video! bit.ly/2qZEBOR Exhaustion has become a hobby. Because of my personal judgment, I almost passed up an amazing opportunity. People say what they want about stay at home moms, but self care and mental health is anything but something to joke or put anyone down about.

There is no need to feel guilty about taking care of yourself. Everyone needs a break, including moms.

Felt this 100% ! My biggest help is staying at least committed to the word. My house is in shambles but my mind is healthy. Family is healthy and baby is healthy. I napped this week for the first time in like forever. I was so burnt too! We got this though

It’s so hard! I have 0 naps! My baby just turned 8 months, along with a very active 3 year old and 10 year old. I love my babies, but momma gets tired too 🤪...your doing an awesome job momma! You have such a beautiful family and yeees!! to outdoor walks🤗

How do they all get along? Hubs said he wanted to have another in two years. I would prefer next year, but I'll take two years to have my third baby lol.
And thank you!! You're constantly supportive ❤

I love Nekter! There's one near me on Kennedy and that pink one is my favorite with the dragon fruit. That air purifier sounds really good. I actually need to get one because June seems to have dust, pollen, and/or mold allergies. Since we have carpet in the apartment I feel like an air purifier + smaller steam cleaner may help.

We still use ours all day long. It's really nice white noise. We actually need to change the filter soon. Crazy what it "purified."

We all have mom guilt no matter how old our babies are (31&14👣) We as women have strength that is undeniable. We are all A "SUPERWOMAN!" I think it's great that you are talking about how you are feeling. Letting other women know that we can have bad days as well as the good days. We're all human! I had a really rought time dealing with ppd when I had both of my son's. You are an amazing woman, wife, mother, CZcamsr ( your my favorite. I don't order contacts unless I see them on you! 😘😄), the list goes on and on!! You have made such an amazing impact on my life as well as others who have come in contact with you. Either thru social media or meeting with you. Keep shining bright like a diamond Queen!! 💜👑🎊

My eyes just filled with tears. Thank you so much. I was so down on myself two weeks ago (when I wasn't posting) and was about to completely delete my channel. Glad I didn't because I love it, and comments like this help me realize that what I'm doing is hopefully impacting someone no matter how small. Thank you so much ❤

@@VictoriaVaden YOU REALLY ARE!! You have taught me about real estate, dealing with renters, coupon deals at CVS & Walgreens (those are places I rarely shop at but you have me there looking for deals!🤣) I'm watching your two beautiful baby girls growing up.👣 I really enjoyed when you shared your pregnancy with us. All the way until you gave birth! You were so funny to me!! I feel like I'm a God-Auntie!! 💜 The great relationship that you and your husband have. I saw on old video of how birth control was causing issues with your marriage. I taught the video was new. I posted "Nooooooo, this can't be true!" I was so hurt for y'all but you calmed me down and told me it was on old video and that you guys were doing great. You are "A SUPERWOMAN!" 💜💋🎊

I so glad to have watched this video. Rather than telling myself I won’t have mom guilt it helped to see that it is real. I am a single mom first baby is on the way. I have two dogs who are my babies, literally my babies with fur not fur babies. I’m a fitness trainer and group fitness instructor. I’m involved in the community and church and also enjoy things like singing dancing. I’m so fortunate I have help from my Parents. But I can see how the guilt will infiltrate. Better to be aware of it than sacrifice everything that makes me ME. These are the joys God has given me in my heart to turn around and glorify Him for. And so I can let this blessing be this great addition to the path He has laid for me.

Aww! Congratulations!! I am still experiencing mom guilt, but in a different way now. You are def fortunate being close to family. We were with our oldest, but we currently live 17.5 hours away now. That's amazing that you're close to God. Idk what I would ever do without Him.

Don't feel guilty for taking some time for yourself. Just like on the job, we take breaks. Studies show that people who don't take breaks are less productive than those who do. Likewise, a nice break from the kids will re-fuel You Too.

@@VictoriaVadenPerhaps there may have been a traumatic or life altering event that's happened or something you witnessed since the birth of the 1st baby that's making you feel this way. The fact that you are able to leave the baby with your husband versus a stranger is a big blessing. My kids are 31, 24 & 16 and life situations with each of those pregnancies changed my perspective & view points for that particular time in my life.

I used to feel guilty if I was at work, and guilty when I was home and not working. Sweetie, you are doing the best you can and that is enough, nap when yr baby naps. Don't let anyone tell you what you should do, you do what's best for you.

    • @VictoriaVaden

It's crazy that no matter what we do, we feel guilty. I work overnight because it's the only time I'm undisturbed but I feel so bad during the day when I'm literally exhausted on 3-4 hours of sleep. Thank you for your comment ❤

My baby will be 18 next week. I promise all of you, things will get better. Use yr church they my take yr kids for children's church so you can enjoy the service. It will give you a few minutes where you can sit and not worry or feel guilty.

How did you transition? I've been trying but Ezra is refusing the bottle when there is formula in it.

    • @VictoriaVaden
      @VictoriaVaden  Před 4 lety +1

I'm actually really surprised because I didn't think Mariah would take a bottle since I mainly breastfeed, but she took formula in a bottle easier than she does my breastmilk. I think what's honestly helped with lessoning our BF sessions is when I take her to church (which is often) and she eats there from a bottle. Not sure if that's helpful, but I've been (lately) trying to increase the amount of times she gets a bottle from me, and she gets upset and will slap the bottle but she knows she's hungry, so she eats while fussing and then falls asleep. It's harder more on me than her, I think because my boobs will fill SO much, and I can't manually express my right side which makes it even more painful.

@@VictoriaVaden he will do water or juice from a bottle just not formula. I may pump and slowly start adding formula in for the taste

I will never underestimate a woman’s ability to give birth or ”mom” every day. You don't get nearly enough credit, and society should recognize that. Maybe one day 😪
