- In this video we go over the new method to restore iPhones battery health. We use a tag on flex to reprogram the new battery after transferring over the BMS board from one battery to the other. This removes the important battery notification as well as restoring the battery health back to 100% after the battery replacement. If you wish to remove the important battery message on iPhones this method should work for you.

@@UKsystems that's a weak argument. Let alone you suck at wording it. If you know what you're doing with an android it is really flexible with what you want. You could jail break an iPhone, but that's a few extra steps just so you can do what an android already does. Don't want a slow android? Then spend as much as you would on an iPhone. 🤷🏻♀️ If basic is what you like then that's iPhone. Androids are by default more versatile than iPhone.
@@aeshmastar6926 the issue is app optimisation quite simply developers cannot optimise the app for so many phones that even if you spend a lot of money on a high-end model you can still have compatibility issues if an app does not support it and also doesn’t fully support some phones

@@imadrabhi5991 it very much depends on what phone if it’s one where the phone manufacturer works with app developers to optimise them. You shouldn’t have a problem but there are some phones at a premium price point without the integration and it’s quite hard to work out what ones sometimes that social media posts for example will only upload at a very low resolution

Was really hard to fit this all in a short video. We're seeing methods to correct any and all of Apple's "important messages". The issue is this makes what used to be a 20-30 minute repair take 1-2 hours. Very annoying

Hello, I have a question. Can you take the tag on board out after it’s booted and loaded up to 100% or should I put a new ‘tag on’ in each customers phone?, because they can be pretty pricey..

They use that tag on flex to scam people here in Nigeria. You buy a 60% battery health phone but the software reads 100%

I find it funny that they protect you from bad stuff so hard that repair dudes have to compromise brand new batteries and cut off stuff from old ones then solder onto the new one to make things work right instead of having a decent repair experience.
The way they force you to repair stuff is so much more dangerous than it should be

Anti-repair should be treated as the scam that it is and apple should pay for this.
After a product leaves a store it no longer belongs to that company it belongs to the person that bought it therefore if they want to repair there own phone or have someone repair it the company should have no say in the matter

I bet you could find grounds for a lawsuit in the US about this if you looked hard enough since Right to Repair exists. So far, it looks like Apple is either blatantly ignoring it or finding loopholes. Either way with the right lawyer it would make for a good case.
Week ago i replaced battery in iphone 8 plus. It had the battery condition even when i didnt do anything other than switch old battery for new. Sad to see that with newer phones they complicate things like this.

Batteries are cheap and if you're goin through the hassle of taking it all apart and soldiering it doesn't make sense not to replace the battery.
@@davidswanson5669id say a significant portion of a repair shops clients are going to be one offs anyway so not too much damage done by negative reviews. Besides the dodgy dealings is probably less on repairs and more on selling repaired items, probably for more than they should if they can pretend a dying battery still holds 100% charge.

Did you see the new batteries that Injured gadgets is producing? All you have to do is connect the BMS board no spot welding or soldering required. I’ve been using it for the past month. It’s amazing.

Very nice, annoying they make it harder. BTW it's better to use a battery spot-welder so you don't damage the new battery. We've had good luck with a foot-pedal style one, way better than the QianLi one.
I've had more success with soldering personally as I've done both before, where'd you get the foot pedal one from?

I once bought a refurbished iPhone. It worked pretty well. It still had 100% battery health and I thought it was a new Apple Original battery. A few weeks ago the battery expanded while I was on vacation but the battery health still was at 100%. Watch out guys
The battery health is calculated on how much capacity the battery reports it should have and how much capacity the OS "detects" (I don't remember exactly how tho), it's all done with system files and infos give by the battery's BMS tho
@namenotfound2456 in the original battery, yes. however, the same peice that was added to force a reset to 100% in this replacement can be used by malicious parties to disguise a failing/damaged/lower capacity battery by manipulating the software analytics.
@@namenotfound2456 The battery itself is just a pouch filled with chemicals. All the data about capacity and power usage is stored on the BMS. All the data on the BMS gets reset through the tagflex during the repair.

Does it just force it to 100%? Or does the tag-on flex just reset it and it'll still go down over time with use... So you actually know how healthy the new battery is?

Did that years ago never regretted it android is way easier and more simple to use you don’t need like 100 accounts for different apple related junk, with android you just need a google account and you are done and able to use everything through it.
You can also remove the additional flex afterwards
One note -------- battery will always says 100 percentage even if it is degraded..........
So always buy second hand iPhone below 100 percentage battery health

Got my 12 battery replaced at apple for $89. Works flawless and tells me that it was replaced with genuine part and the date it was replaced.

LG V20 Users : Battery replacement is not impossible. just press a button to remove the cover then remove the old one by lifting it then slap a new one. Success !

Hi, seeing a few misconceptions with this short;
1. Soldering instead of spot welding is typically ill-advised with battery cores as it can damage them with the sheer amount of heat they output, if you do go with this method please use a proper spot welder.
2. If this is your first attempt at this method of repair I can see it taking up to that time frame but usually this repair can be done within 30-45 minutes at most (shop traffic aside)

Those preprogrammed tag on flexes are AMAZING. We were [I was the one struggling] having trouble getting the programming of the flex to go through properly but now the magic just kinda works!

I just bought a device called the Apollo interstellar device. It works with iPhone from the 6 to the 13 for batteries screens and even some motherboard reprogramming too.
How does the tag on compare to using an icopy2.1 to reprogram after moving over the BMS??

Just changed the battery in my 13pro at an official apple partner. It shows the health as before, just 100%
