- Nicky 'Neil Elvis' Winmar played 230 games In a twelve-season career with St Kilda, booting 283 goals. Winmar was St.Kilda best and fairest in 1989 and 1995 and was All-Australian in 1991 and 1995, and won the Michael Tuck Medal in 1996. Nicky thrilled thousands of Saints fans during his career with his brilliance in the air and on the ground and his fierce tackling.

That mark in 1990 against Hawthorn at Moorabbin when the Saints hadn't beaten them for about 16 years and ended up winning by a kick was one of the Saints great victories

Gilbert McAdam were absolutly fantastic that day and are role models for
all Australians. Nicky WILL be a ALF Hall of Famer and I can't wait for
it. I look forward to his speach and seeing the pride of all his family
freinds, fans and the AFL comminity. The AFL really need to make it
happen this year.

6:00 I was there... After Plugger kicked the goal and the siren sounded, all of us Saints supporters where jumping like we had won a grand final. We were the absolute underdogs that day, even though the match was being played at our ground.
