- My first time setting up the all new Dyna SC16 Rapid Split Firewood processor. Firewood processor’s are pretty awesome and complex but how easily can they be set up? Follow along as I set up the Dyna SC16 firewood processor for the first time by myself. We get it set up and change the wedge as well as set the cutting length to make some premium firewood fast and easy! If you are in the market for a Dyna firewood processor of any size let them know you saw it on Hard Working Man and you’ll get a free filter and accessory pack with your purchase!

I’m impressed it sets up that easy I figured a big machine like that would take the better part of a day to set up .
It only took about 15-20 minutes. I’ve heard multitek takes 8 hours
Nice video Heath and Rachel. Dyna definitely made their setup fairly easy and straightforward to support their rental program. Smart!
Thanks Dick!
Seems pretty user friendly!
Yes, I thought there would be more to it at first. Very easy
Rachel is the brains and the beauty of the operation. You're just the muscle Heath😅
Nice job buddy, there's a lot to this machine and you know it well. Great job Heath.
Kenny, at least you give me some credit lol.
@@hardworkingmanoutdoors hahaha
Looks like the setup is pretty quick and easy.
For sure. Didn’t take much at all
Great video! I’m renting one right now and your video was very helpful. Thank you!!
You are welcome, how do you like it? They are very easy to set up and user-friendly. We love running this thing and will be running it more soon. Once we get our yard set up.
Dyna definitely made the setup fairly easy. For first time you guys did great. Good video guys. Take care . Al and Chris from Club Dora Outdoors and firewood.
Thanks Guys!
Long Rachel is running it , I’ll been watching the DYNA SC 16 in operation 😊.
Thanks Leonard!
You can’t go wrong with Rachel.

Looks like a fairly straight forward process. Nice to see some decent weather at your place!
It is Obie! That was our one good day of weather it seems. Big snowstorm just blew through.
Looks simple enough! Appreciate ya sharing Kieth and Rachelle 🤣👊🏻
Thanks Tedd!

hi there good show ,i used a 15 and 16 in the past , they build a nice machine , best to all john
Thanks John, I agree. They’re a well built machine.
It looks like a pretty simple design which is good. I was wondering if you are supposed to just set the wedge down after pulling it and retrieve it from the outside instead of trying to carry it out. In the spirit of Jaws, “Captain we’re going to need a bigger log pile.”
That would have probably worked as well. Or hand it down to a partner. Definitely need more logs.
Awesome video on what it takes to set that up. Other than the conveyor on the gravel, I think that'd be an easy 1 person job. Great job you 2 🍻
Thanks Jack, it’s sort of a gravel mud mix at this point but yeah pretty simple if you ask me.
Worked with a friend who rented one. They are a nice unit. Only draw back was throwing the bigger resplits over the wedge to split again.but I’m a 68 year old hardly working man
good video and job that wasn't bad at all just remeber to put all the pins back in. take care, be safe and well.
Definitely don’t want to forget the pins!
Great video showing the process of setting up the machine. SC-16
I went to their website and they offer used machines also. Guessing out of there rental fleet possibly. Definitely interesting on price point, thanks HWM
They also take them in on trade, refurbish and sell them. Thanks!
Nice setup video but I think you should have run something through it to make sure we know that it's working properly but I guess not if you don't have the time! Have a good day!
Rex, check out the video we released right before this one. That was actually what we did after setting it up. Just released the videos flip flopped.
Good setup video 👍
Thanks Lyle!
Takes me 10 to 15 min to set my dyna sc16 up when i take it for custom splitting jobs, depends on how much coffee i had .. simple to run and mine has a little over 2700 hours on it now.. bought it used back in 2018.
They’ve really streamlined how to set it up so anyone can do it without much trouble!
@rachelpostma4505 that is for sure.. i have a multitech 2040 processor too and that is a 8 hr set up.. but can do around 30 to 50 cord a day too tho. The dyna we might on a good day get about 16 to 20 cord done off it.
They definitely do set up easily, so far we’ve been pretty impressed with it.
I was rooting for Tutor Dixon. For the record.
Name sounds familiar.
@@hardworkingmanoutdoors sweetheart, ethical, and sharp.
I'd like to see Rachel set the processor up.
I figured you would 😂
She could definitely do it!
Nice set up. Is there a single wedge. I didn’t notice maybe.
Have a nice day. Still muddy there.
You should have a mud fun day like Phil and Karen did. 😂🤣😅🤭
The 4 way can be used as a single when it’s lowered down.
Ahhhhh. That’s neat. 👋👋👍🏻👍🏻
Okay thank-you the price is out of range for just a homeowner to do his firewood
Yes, definitely not a homeowner unit. They do make smaller units that cost much less.
Can Rachel set it up❤? Killer deal you got on the quad and the auto transmission started to work just with oil change yahoo
I’m sure she could. It’s fairly easy to do. Thanks!
I can't quite put my finger on it.
But something tells me one of those spitting wedges is a one or 2 lbs more then the other.
LOL
Ha! Yes you’re correct!
Is this a Canadian made machine and if so in round figure how much?
The Dynas are made in Michigan. This is their top of the line model and right around $100k usd.
I'd love to upgrade but my sc 14 is still going strong since 2010.
That’s awesome! I’m sure it’s paid for itself 100x over
@@hardworkingmanoutdoors yes no major problems ever
What's the minimum and maximum length for this processor? Not hard to set up but using it in really muddy circumstances wouldn't be fun. Interesting, thank you Heath and Rachel. Oh yeah I still would like to see Rachel chop down a tree with an axe.
Minimum is around 4 feet. I’d say the max is around 20 ft. The deck is 16 ft long. She already chopped down a tree! czcams.com/video/F1uCKMOBpPE/video.htmlsi=j_J4l2itW80qiIqi
Looks like a pain in the ass to set up! And they rent it out and expect someone to figure all that out! No Thanks.
lol, it’s pretty dang simple. I suppose if they added an auto set up button like a transformer it would be easier?
Good thing there’s a CZcams video they can watch on how to set it up now!
@@rachelpostma4505 Point well taken. 😁
Definitely a great machine🤘🏻🪵🇺🇸
Thanks guys it’s definitely a labor saver!
