    Hey CZcams family!
    Thanks again for an amazing Birthday livestream this past Saturday! You all were amazing and I could not believe how many of you made it.. all the good conversation I seen and support was something that makes me want to continue the live streams!
    Today’s video is a short quick run down of how my DYNA sc-14 firewoodprocessor operates. Every processor operates different. But I wanted to share with you all how the DYNA sc-14 works! Hope you all enjoy. Thank you all so much for your endless support!
    Be kind and be good

    Like to make a suggestion for a video. How about showing how to tell what kind of wood you have. Show how to tell what is what by looking at the bark and looking at the wood grain my girls could use guidance on that thank you. still waiting for your suggestion from 5 days ago keep up the great videos.

  • @ohiowoodburner
    @ohiowoodburner Před 4 lety +1

    Thanks for the video TWG. Is it possible for the log to be advanced with the infeed with the bar in the cut? My old Dyna was like that and it was a big worry for me. If you weren't paying attention you could break the saw motor. Joe

    • @thatwoodguy104
      @thatwoodguy104  Před 4 lety

      Thanks for watching joe.. yes you can! It’s a big worry of mine too.. I’ve trained myself to ALWAYS retract the saw right after the cut.. wish Dyna would have made a safety switch for that

    • @thatwoodguy104
      @thatwoodguy104  Před 4 lety +1

      Thanks 😂 on average about 45min to a hour :) with dad running the machine we can do it in 45 solid

  • @outdoorswithlarryrobin

    Great live view! Hope you big Bob is running well, my T650 has developed a very annoying knock around the door, have looked everywhere and just cannot find it, If you would next time live, we would appreciate a shoutout, my wife and I have started a firewood channel “Senior Firewood Hound” also listed under “Larry Hottle” Stay safe!

    @VTOutdoorServices Před 4 lety +1

    Show us what you have to do when the log is almost too short and you have to hold the block from falling into the split pit with one hand and run the feed/saw lever with the other. And when you mess up, wrestling the oblong piece out of the pit and back onto the tray LOL.

    I have a sc14 and it is not wanting to cut through like the last 2”s of the wood. Have you ever had yours do that? Thanks!

    • @thatwoodguy104
      @thatwoodguy104  Před rokem

      Hey Ryan, I sure have... 90 percent of the time it’s chain or bar related.... either a dull chain or the tooth set is off... try a fresh sharp chain... also the bar may need to be dressed.. if the cut starts to wander off what happens is it binds the last few inches.... because the processor has a fixed bar it doesn’t allow it to “follow the error” when cutting with like a hand held chainsaw that isn’t in a fixed position... hope this helps 👍🏻

    • @ryanspencer4363
      @ryanspencer4363 Před rokem

      @@thatwoodguy104 thanks for the response! It was a combination of multiple things on mine. Gauges giving false readings, bar not aligned properly, splitter relief valve to tight, and chain wasn’t the best. I worked on it for DAYS finally got it working the way it should!

    • @thatwoodguy104
      @thatwoodguy104  Před 4 lety +1

      I have the 6 way for it also. But the 6 way is not the best design.. needs really clean wood for it to work nice 👍🏻 thanks for watching buddy
