- JAT Flight 367 was a McDonnell Douglas DC-9-32 aircraft (registration YU-AHT) which disintegrated shortly after overflying NDB Hermsdorf (located in or around Hinterhermsdorf, in the present-day municipality of Sebnitz), East Germany, while en route from Stockholm, Sweden, to Belgrade, SFR Yugoslavia, on 26 January 1972.

yes thank you for remembering the memory of this crew , Vulovic and the passengers ! RIP 🙏
Also, Vesna was pinned in place by a serving cart, which kept her from whip-lashing or being thrown forward at impact with the ground.
Excellent video! I've heard of the flight attendant that fell 33,000 feet and survived, but had no idea it was this flight! Great graphics. Thank you for creating, uploading and sharing!!
Same
I have a deep rooted fear of flying but once in a while l do it anyway. This story is profoundly unsettling. Basically l couldn't imagine a more horrible way to die that doesn't involve immense pain, although the agonisingly freezing cold wind whistling past while falling at 150 km/h while being 10 kilometers straight up and in -20°C might actually provide some ghastly distraction from icy cold fingers, as well as the thought of dying within a few minutes. and even if those fingers get frostbitten. Fortunately that person will not have any further use for those fingers once the falling from the sky is stopped by the ground breaking every bone in their body.
The lucky ones who disembarked were truly lucky.
An angel was looking over her.
I have flown on these aircraft a few times and I like them.
I lived in an area where lots of aircraft passed over on their landing route and I used to love looking up at their beautiful shape from below
@user-eb6bw5jn1y yo ma
They're reliable airliners, that's for certain. I always feel claustrophobic in them after I've flown in Airbuses and Boeings for a while.
I find all of these videos intriguing but at same time, very heartbreaking. I commented in other posts about my experience as a FA for Southwest Airlines, and always was cognizant of fact that every flight could my last.
Godspeed to all on board this flight.
It's extremely heartbreaking. Unfortunately most people are just watching these for the entertainment, adrenaline boost. It's unfathomable to grasp the sheer terror people would endure on the way down. Thank you for the time you gave as an FA. Sound like you were a very personable attendant.❤
Do you feel the same way when you get into a car or suv??

@@sludge8506 FR !! I've been on so many flights to everywhere in the world and nothing but a busted out tire on takeoff. Our chances of dying in the sky are WAy lower than driving anywhere. I still love the Mayday episiodes they are the freaking Bomb Best. Does that make me sound like an old fart? Yeah. It's because I am, and I remember the luxury of running right up to the gate and Yep it happened! Also, I even have a pic of myself and a German passenger smoking ()MG) tothether on a flight. Those were the days, my friend. We smoked and drank our asses off on that flight. You got a better story? I promise that I can one-up that.
Does southwest go anywhere interesting? Gimmie one freakng break in life
@@gigi9301 No, I can’t top your adventures!! Thanks for responding.
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
She had no parachute 🪂 per se , however the fuselage become her parachute .
"Some reports stated Vulović was at the rear of the aircraft when the explosion occurred, but she has stated she was told that she was found in the middle section of the plane."
I just discovered your channel. Your videos are beautifully done, and produced
@user-eb6bw5jn1y?????
Yes, they are beautifully done.
Great work. Thanks. Aussie Bob 😊
It is truly a miracle that anyone was able to survive such an extreme fall.
you mean terrorist attack not fail of any kind.
No, it wasn’t a miracle. It was circumstances. The Swiss cheese lined up just right for the lady.
Did you catch the part where it took a year and a half for her recovery? Approximately 550 days? Some miracle.
At least the young lady made it into one of the most disgusting things on this planet, that book of records.
🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏿♂️🤦🏻♂️
Still a miracle
@@sludge8506 only she can decide whether or not it was truly a miracle. If she is glad to be alive, in spite of everything, then it was a miracle.

Hell of a way to go when you know you are going to die within a short time. Probably took at least a minute or five to get down that far.
They would have lost consciousness at that altitude (33000 feet). Maybe some could have regained it later? Who knows.
Very, very well done!
Well done! Good to remember this.
That would make an excellent movie - with the appropriate director and cast,
Excelente reconstrucción capi mauro felisitasiones saludos a todos bendiciones ✈️💥🙌🙏
Wow.... So sad...😢
fascists dear,what do you expect...
Apparently the flight attendent returned to her flying career after recovering.Amazing attitude after such a fate to fall from over 30,000 ft.
They gave her an office job. She was never a flight attendant again.
@@bradsanders407 Too much publicity.
It’s spelled “altitude”
Barry speaks about her 'ATTITUDE' which has another meaning. Her amazing attitude and not her amazing altitude ... BARRY IS RIGHT AND YOU ARE COMPLETELY WRONG@@kickedinthecalfbyacow7549
@@kickedinthecalfbyacow7549 They meant the flight attendant's attitude
Actually, there was also a Lady who fell from a disintergrated aircraft at the same altitude, attached only to her seat, and then spent a number of weeks with broken bones surviving and hiking her way out of the Brazilian, Peru, Amazon or some such Sth American jungle.
Yes. Mrs. Köppke. She survived fall from around 3500 m strapped to seat into Amazonian forrest. Then she walked alone in jungle for 11 days until she found woodcutters outpost. She lives in Munich now.
@@milangacik994 I remember they made a movie about that called 'Miracles Still Happen.'
@user-eb6bw5jn1yit’s a true story. She went back to visit the crash site in the jungle just a few years ago. Hers was a harrowing tale. There were a few others who were still alive after the crash but they were in worse shape and died. She was the only survivor.
How the heck did she survive, that's an absolute miracle
This means the air attendant was only 22 at the time of the accident.
It did not disintegrate. That would mean there was nothing left. It crashed Still very sad.
I don’t think you know what disintegrate means.
Peggy Hill survived a parachute failure
Landed in a mud bog
she got up and oozed away.
I'm sure she said "NO BOO-AINE-OH on the way down.
@@billolsen4360 "Aaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!"
RIP to all who perished
Never did see the nose separate nor any in air disintegration for that matter.
Why does it smoke so heavily from the wheels?
Innocent victims. It's always that way, isn't it?
Sadly, yes!
People who had no dog in the fight over Croatia.
Eighty Deuce
Great job guys...
Incomplete video. Was the bomb group responsible for crash captured?
All the braggers and experts and pilots in the comments section as usual telling the world their hrs etc just to say it's a good video 🙄🙄🙄
A bomb destroyed the plane
And i hate the thought that the son of a b**** who planted it never got prosecuted.
@user-eb6bw5jn1y so you left Facebook because you and your type have destroyed it and come here to troll people?
it was a bomb
Is this on Microsoft Flight Simulator or X-Plane? I don't think that Microsoft Flight Simulator has the DC-9
The stairs aren't level with the passenger door?!
@user-eb6bw5jn1y No they are not jerk
Why smoke from all tires all the time?
In the flight simulator with there being
‘snowy conditions’ it will simulate dry snow kicked up by the wheels, but the ‘logic’ fails to recognize there’s no snow on the runway!😂
I had a similar guffaw in FSX during wet conditions. The moisture would kick up from the wheels on the ground which was cool compared to MSFS…95!
BUT, lift off, gear up…but that annoying mist kicked up….kept on going along for the ride just below the plane!😂
@@57Jimmy I was going to post the same thing. On FSX no matter how slow you taxiied those little spray plumes followed you around like little puppy dogs lol.
Do American Airlines flight 191
perhaps 'separately like stones' is better. still, good content.
Are you serious? Who cares about such a petty thing
I hear the sound at 1:35 - the aircraft is powered by diesel piston engine
Just a minor observation, at 5.33 the AH is still showing straight and level flight
Did they find the murderer?
Video does not say.
They had a suspect and someone claimed responsibility but no arrests made
@@TrueStory1827 check!…thanks for your answer.
I blame the Czech Airman. See what I did there?
Groan!yes - how many children do you have? your obviously have some to know dad jokes that weak😂
No
What in the world are the tires on the aircraft "smoking" so bad for? What is turned "on", on the sim used to make this video? The runway is clean and clear. Doesn't look like it's contaminated with anything.
Croatia has a very proud fascist tradition which even shocked the Nazis not because of its bravery against powerful enemies, but with its fanatic brutality against ordinary folks and civilians across Yugoslavia, particularly Serbs or Bosnians.
Looks like a wrong setting in his flight simulator because the tires are always smoking as he taxies everywhere! Maybe he left the "virtual brakes" on full time?
Snow on the ground in Copenhagen..that's snow coming of the tires.
I think that’s ice or snow
Request China Airlines flight 676 please?
A classic Christmas tale. Seen her fall like for the fifth time now :-b
i really don't understand the smoke coming off the tires after they have started rolling. The runway seems to be clear of any snow or other debris that would be blowing up.
It's a computer simulation.
So Yogoslavia was always unstable. WW1, Bosnian war, Serbia etc etc
My horse became unstabled -I never did find out who let him out of that dam stable😂🎉
Kingdom of Yugoslavia was formed after WW1. Yugoslavia, which has existed in the time when this accident occurred, was proclaimed in 1943, but factically after the end of WWII.

Oh, it’s a video game. Now I get it.
Deeply irresponsible pilot! All that wheel-spinning is a clue. Great video!
Great clue to what?
The catholic croatian ustashe slaughtered over one million Serbian Orthodox Christians, Gypsies and Jews during WWII. Croatia was never de-nazified thanks to Tito who was half croatian.
Why did you stop the laughable smoke from the nose wheel when it was in the air? It would have been even funnier if you kept it going.
Because the point of this video was to make people laugh weirdo
Piss poor simulation
What is this garbage? A video game?
Vesna sounds like a good plot for someone to make a movie on - and its real life! not like some of the crud they shovel at us sometimes. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vesna_Vulovi%C4%87
