LOVE the paintbrush idea...using sponges from dollar tree would surely make a much better foam brush than most of the ones you can buy! And you could also use the large size clip if you needed to cover a larger space...BAM!!!
Thanks for SPEAKING instead of loud ”music”. The brush idea was brilliant. An old foam matress makes million brushes. The light bulb socket to mains socket is prohibited here in EU but anyway, that’s a very old thing and was called ”Edison” and probably by many other names. It was popular when there was only lamp and no mains outlets. Those had usually lamp socket too so you could still use a lamp plus two mains oulets.
Great ideas. Love the paint brush idea and how to remove dents in softwood. I'm going to try that on a piece of hardwood and see if it helps. Thanks for the great ideas.
Using a simple tiny plastic pencil sharpener & a regular plastic straw: sharpen the straw. The straw then becomes a straw-shaped spiral to wrap around all the cords. 👍
I liked the sponge brush trick and the way you recorded the voice over. yes sponge brushes are cheap, but yo can use this trick for other thigs. I myself use to use a EVA "brush" to apply wood glue, super glue finish and other things. and this is a practical way to create a multi-use handle
So, you needed to drill something so you needed to make something to plug your drill into which required you to use a drill to make? Am i the only one seeing this?
Soldering isn't suitable for mains voltage regarding safety. Depending on application there are terminal blocks, crimp connections or even screw terminals (with proper crimped on wire ferrules of course) you could use. On a pcb inside an appliance soldering is perfectly fine but mechanically stressed parts need a much more rugged connection.
The bigger issues is using the lighting circuit to power electrical devices whose power would far exceed the limits of the cabling and fuses for the lighting circuit. At best you’d trip the MCB, at worst you’d cause a fire. Utterly dangerous and idiotic.
I can't figure out what most of this stuff is even for. Razor blade, string, plastic bottle....what the frick was that? hanging piece of wood? Yup! We all need that....

I liked the paint brush idea for when I need to do a quick little paint job and find that I'm out of foam paint brushes, which happens now and then.
Love the cable rap idea, thanx *o*
I've never seen an electrical plug and electric outlet that looks like that. What country is that in?
Avacarho It's european

Don't ever make an adapter for a 13amp socket from a 6amp light fitting in the UK, it will end in tears.

I'd reckon in 9 out of 10 it's much less effort to get a line to a socket next room.

Woodworkers have been removing dents from wood for centuries without an iron; just leave a damp piece of cloth on overnight.
Yeah because powering a drill from a 5A unearthed light socket is a real great thing to do.
smart! but didn't know what the last one was about (for painting wood & drying painted wood?)
For drying a painted piece without having it sitting on a table.
Thank You !! Your Brilliant
Nice tips. Here's one for you: SPONGE BRUSH - if using water-based paint, save the planet by washing it out and re-using. ♥
Super Ideas! Happy New Year!
The iron and wet cloth is an old trick used in woodworking and cabinetry, been around a while.
FWIW, your

bllourias to paint the board on all sides. I had to think about that one
yes you can iron out damage to softwoods... to an extent, if the wood fibres are dented yes, if torn nope not going to work.
Short and useful!

Very usefull. Thanks a lot.
In the States, you can buy the screw-in light bulb to 2 prong adapters.
So you take the lightbulb out to plug in your drill, but then it is dark and you can’t see where to drill.........😉
I got lost with the last 2.
good ideas

thank you.
@3:40 I just saw my drill, I also use that baby!
Cool tricks, but please don't solder anything related to mains voltage.
Why not ? What would you suggest instead?
Soldering isn't suitable for mains voltage regarding safety. Clear and concise. Not what I expected on YT. Thank you.
You're most welcome :) cheers!

Don’t make it. It is dangerous by many different reasons.
Foam brushes cost around $0.50
your stuff is good
or.... you can buy disposable sponge brushes.
Fran Artis Yeah...they're ten cents apiece and a better quality foam.
