Which Assassin’s Creed Game Is The Most Replayable?

- If you’ve been watching me for a while, you’d know I recently replayed all the Assassin’s Creed games, and having replayed those games, this experience got me thinking about which of these games is the most replayable. The straight forward answer I can give is honestly your preference, and your preference alone, which is exactly what this video is.

Assassin's Creed is an open-world, action-adventure, and stealth game franchise published by Ubisoft and developed mainly by its studio Ubisoft Montreal using the game engine Anvil and its more advanced derivatives. Created by Patrice Désilets, Jade Raymond, and Corey May, the Assassin's Creed video game series depicts a fictional millennia-old struggle between the Order of Assassins, who fight for peace and free will, and the Knights Templar, who desire peace through order and control. The series features historical fiction, science fiction, and fictional characters intertwined with real-world historical events and historical figures. In most games, players control a historical Assassin while also playing as an Assassin Initiate or someone caught in the Assassin-Templar conflict in the present-day framing story. Considered a spiritual successor to the Prince of Persia series, Assassin's Creed took inspiration from the novel Alamut by the Slovenian writer Vladimir Bartol, based on the historical Hashashin sect of the medieval Middle East.

To me it's black flag, the game doesn't take too long to give you your boat, and afterwards the Caribbean is your oyster
The ac black flag remake has a huge potential if only Ubisoft can execute it properly
The legit only reason I think maybe it’s not is the sheer amount of fucking tailing missions. That’s easily the worst thing in the game and makes me go I’m not sure whereas without em I’d be like by far black flag
Odyssey and Black Flag are the most replayable for me. I think I love the sea, lol
oh boy, Then you will love skull n bones :^)

I have experienced the save game delete in black flag 6 times
I can't say the same after what has happened
@@Ghostrunner7069 the same happend with me for AC 3.
I played it 2times and the save files got deleted midway and now i am a pro for completeing the prologue of that game.
I played AC Brotherhood many times I don't why but every time I played I felt something fresh every time.
3 for me. For a game as old as it is by today’s standards, the gameplay has held up nicer than the previous four and I find its themed and story more resonating the older I’ve gotten.
True.. Homestead, captain Kidds mission are masterpiece..
I’m currently playing black flag and 3 again might have to m play rogue and unity as well to play the whole kenway/cormac/arno story as they all tie into each other
Same here. I’ve beat AC3 three times…& I’ve never replayed any of the other AC games after beating them.
I beat that game like 4 times im a veteran now😂
@@user-ve2bw3gf5baccept Jesus Christ he loves u ❤️❤️🔥died n rose to forgive u
For me it's AC Unity, especially with the new ACU fixes mod there are so many new ways to play the game and the game still looks and feels great in 2024
How do you replay it btw? It only has 1 save file. I want to replay it but don't know how to. I'm on PC
@@Bad_Dog_Gaminggo to ur genetic file and u can replay missions :)
@@Bad_Dog_Gamingunfortunately you need to go into your game files and manually delete your save. You could also play each mission in order again individually with the Progress Tracker
@@602Tman I'll try that, thanks
@@Bad_Dog_Gaming As 602Tman said, you can delete save file. But you can also just remove it and save that file somewhere else, so when you want to open a certain save file of yours, you can just paste it again in the saves folder.
Assassin's Creed II is the most replayable for me. I've finished it before and then immediately started a new game. Also, it's pretty easy to get the Codex Pages as long as you get them as the story progresses. Make sure to synchronize all of the viewpoints to clear up the map and you will not miss them. The real pain is getting all of the feathers. Lol
For me, it's AC Odyssey. I can't fully explain why, but it's become my "comfort game". I can replay the game over and over and still find stuff to do. There is just so much about it that keeps me coming back to it. I do think part of it is the amount of choice (even if it ultimately doesn't matter). I can do subtle things to make each play different, or different enough, to not make it boring.
Also, I still cannot fathom why AC Valhalla didn't get a NG+. I don't understand why it couldn't have. Even Mirage got one. I might replay Valhalla if there was the option, but I'm not about to go back and start from the beginning again.
Well mirage was much shorter and was a linear story without character choice. But odyssey was a fairly large game and had character choice. I feel like Valhalla should’ve gotten new game plus. But a second playthrough on that game is brutal. Too much game for me
I believe its the setting. played odyssey 7ish times
Ac odyssey is my favourite Singleplayergame. Love the music and 1 year ago a was in greece and some islands, i climbed on a little mountain, looked at the ocean, sun was shining und heard ac Odysssey music. Had 10 minutes goosebumps and tears in my eyes. This feelt so Unreal 💥
Don't forget to play Odyssey, and Origins, in discovery mode and try it in first person view! It puts a whole new perspective on everything!
sameee
Odyssey! You can literally use an entirely different play style every time you boot up the game.
Yawn
Played it 3 times. Went 3 times with poison assassin build. loved it 3 times
Ac valhalla has burned me more than twice now. Ac odyssey is just such a comfort game.
why would you wanna replay a game if it took you half a year to causally complete
@Taxevader-gk9ms Only did one full playthrough (not to 100%)
Second one I didn't even leave Norway
@@almostmexican3003 i didn't even finish my first play through because it left me so burnt out i took a year and a half off and had to restart to relearn the game
@Taxevader-gk9ms Trust that it's so not worth it.
Thank God odyssey exists
Completed AC oddsesy at least 3 times. Ready to go again in summer vacation
And then what do you mean with completed, like only main quests or main and everything in the world?
Most of the side quests too
if that's true then you must have like 800 hours on it
On my third playthrough now. I do side quests as needed for experience. There’s quite a bit to explore

The mercenary system also adds replay value to Odyssey because being randomly generated for the most part you’re not facing the same line up of enemies who are out to kill you, and they can appear all over the map. Add in the option to kill sponsors of these mercenaries and you have an ongoing randomised experience that happens across the whole game.
It's my first time playing assassin's creed 1 and it's amazing and new experience for me
By ac 3 an rouge you started siding with the Templars that’s what happen to me
Yeeeeeessssssss another fan of 1!!!
@@JosephCasimir-ci5bfexcept rogue is flawed where assassins just act like templars and templars act like assassin's
It was truly a revolutionary game for its time. It’s pretty wild to think it came out in ‘07
For me, I love replaying every single Assassin's Creed mainly because I just love the games as a whole. I don't care that Valhalla is too long, i dont care that Black Flag has a lot of tailing missions, I don't care that Unity is basically a love story (😂jk). But each and every one of the games has something different and unique that makes me fall in love every time I play. I guess I'm just a simple casual gamer that loves stabbing NPCs 🤷🏾♂️
I don't think I have the standards of a casual gamer, but I also enjoy all of them lol. Gonna be doing a replay of the entire franchise (again) soon, just purchased Origins DLC's finally, and I still have yet to finish Valhalla (+DLCs) and play Mirage, feels like the right time with Mirage going on sale very often and with Shadows just around the corner 👀
For me, it's Assassin's Creed Brotherhood and Assassin's Creed Unity , I played both of them like 8-10 times including all side quests and dlcs
Same
Least replayable:
- Valhalla
- Syndicate
- Mirage
- AC 1
- Revelations
Most replayable:
- Black Flag
- Unity
- Odyssey
- Origins
- Brotherhood
This is facts
syndicate is the most replayable for me
i cant even finish odyssey without getting bored
origins is alr
and i will get bored with black flag
unity is great
Fair
For me, definitely Odyssey. I love the setting, the humour and the amount of stuff there is to do in it.
AC 2, Brotherhood, Revelations, Black Flack, Rogue, Odyssey, and Valhalla all have mad replay value if you ask me
I played AC Odysseys story 5 times and its so good to replay
Ive completed 2 runs and realized I still need more experience for mastery skills, on what play through did you finally Max out all skills? 3rd play through?

Totally agree with Odyssey being number 1 due to changing protagonist, NG+, Abilities mastery and different endings
Best assassins creed channel
Hidden one is 1st and Altair stealth is second.
for me its ac unity, not only for the assasination missions but for the parkour and side quests especially, i would just run around rooftops for hrs without doing any missions and still never get bored god what i would do for an ac game like unity
Odyssey and Black flag are the ones I always tend to go back to.
Hoping AC: Shadows gets added to that list.
For me it is Unity, it was the first AC I played and i was so impressed of the Parkour and since then i kinda fell in love with every AC. I just finished the Platin trophy for Unity and Syndicate and it was such an great experience playing these great games again. Love your Videos
I think Odyssey is the only one that actually seems like it was designed with replayability in mind, for better or worse.
Origins & AC2/Brotherhood IMO!
I love how much u Appreciate Odyssey first time i played on launch I didn't like it stopped early. years later literally 2023 I replayed it and damn the world is one of the best in games ever just that he have a classical Greek world in a game is meaningful to me.

Bad taste, mediocre game

For me....AC unity is the most replayable infact it is the most replayed game for me.....i have played it 4 times.....just because of its immersive mal experience....its stealth....its multiple approaches....its acu fixes and mods....its parkour which is at the top in every game list.....and also its gameplay....
AC Valhalla: Definitely tired out after playing. It’s a slog completing it all.
I only play older games and jrpgs these days, but it was AC Syndicate for me. I was kinda addicted to the game when I had my PS4.
just finished replaying odyssey on nightmare without a new game+ and i can confirm, may be the most replayable game of all time
Odyssey and Blackflag are the ones I find myself coming back to the most
I had the same with Odyssey. I've played it 4x (main story only) and always tried to get different endings like being an absolute idiot, killing everybody that I could, banging everybody that I could and so on. It was pretty fun to get to see the different results.
Odyssey is the Skyrim for Assassin's Creed. both is hated by old players but both is the most popular and replayable game in the series.
Valhalla would be one of the most replayable games if it didn't take 4 lifetimes to complete.
The problem of Ac Valhalla is its lack of a New Game+ mode. It would resurrect the game for sure.
With rewards for completing the game in new Game+. For example, a proper viking assassin set.
I just hope that day comes… whenever. Its a fine game when you experience it on a mid-low pace.
I havent played valhalla but isnt it like 1000+ hours long or something? wouldn't replaying a game that long feel like a chore?
@@steeks9132It is long, sure, but you spend most of the time looting gear and exploring. Just take your time with the game without recollecting all that pieces.
I think it will multiply its replayability.
From 2010-2017 i played AC trilogy and Black Flag a zillion times. In recent times i grew a liking towards Unity and Origins so been playing those a lot.
Valhalla's story alone took me double the amount of time it took me to complete Odyssey's main story and most side content
Valhalla is the only AC game ive spent over 300 hrs in. Thats a game i can keep loading up and always finding something to do
I'd say AC II for me. I'm the past 2 years, I've 100 percented it 3 times.
That story is just so damn good. And I always enjoy playing the tomb missions to get the armor of Altair
For me it’s AC Odyssey. I’ve beaten the game twice with each protagonist. Now I’m in the middle of doing it again 💀
I have severe game ADD (I can quickly hop from 1 game to another :) ) and never finished any AC game....but this video is so beautifully made that I'm thinking about installing Odyssey again and finally finishing it :)
I had the most fun there of the AC games I own.
P.S. I'm glad Hidden One mentioned The Witcher 3 too in this video, as that's my all time favorite RPG :)
Im actually replaying odyssey myself atm and I agree with you. It’s the best replaceable game for me due to the wide variety in missions choices, weapons and armor, skills, playstyles, character etc. Really enjoying my replay. Maybe I even gonna do a replay as Cassandra someday
I rarely replay open world games because they are just too big but I am replaying Origins and Odyssey in discovery mode and first person view, which offers a whole new perspective on the games. It's incredible the amount of close up detail you can see this way, particularly as you don't have to worry about being attacked!
AC2, Odyssey and Black Flag are my most replayed. I really wish AC2 had replayable missions
Its probably not the right answer.... but weirdly enough i find myself going back to unity the most. I avoided it when it came out and played it for the first time like 2 years ago and was blown away.
My favourite too
It’s either ac black flag or ac mirage for me.
Mirage is so Goated it’s crazy

Syndicate blackflag and Roque
before watching my votes are either Black Flag as I just 100% the main and DLC. Of the RPG releases, Odyssey is still very enjoyable and it has NG+ mode making it all the more enjoyable.
Me, who keeps replaying over and over every title of Assassin's Creed that comes to my hand (i gotta love the intriguing divergence between gameplay, parkour mechanism, historical location, character designs and outfits)
I once originally played and finished Origins on my pc, then a few years later, replayed it on my ps4 and loved it, it is my favourite AC game.
Brotherhood and ac odyssey are prob the most replay-able in my opinion but W video anyway
Amazing how many say Odissey... and I agree!
Also love black flag and I have special love for AC III coz it was my gateway drug to AC, I was amazed by it, then played everysingle game more than once except for Unity.
Syndicate deserves more love as well
Theres something about AC 2 that keeps me coming back even though its weak gameplay wise and very outdated. The story and music is so well done I can't get enough
Here's the order for me:
1. Apparently Unity - 5 times (it's not even my favorite)
2. AC3 - 4 times
3. Black Flag - 4 times
4. AC2 - 4 times
5. Rogue - 3 times
6. Odyssey - 2 times
7. Brotherhood - 2 times
8. Revelations - 2 times
9. Syndicate - 1 time
10. AC1 - 1 time
11. Origins - 1 time (I like some deserts in games, but this just ain't it for me)
12. Valhalla - 1 excruciatingly time that solidified it as my least favorite game that I've played (I liked Vinland and Norway though, but that was just some good in a Pacific Ocean of bad)
my personal preference:
Odyssey most replayable,
Origins is a good second
Black Flag
Mirage
Unity
Brother Hood
Revelations
AC II
AC III
Syndicate
Valhalla
Rogue
Odyssey and Brotherhood for me. Reason being Odyssey and its 2 dlcs Blade and Fate make a very long game even longer which I love because I love a very long game. And for me Brotherhood has the best combat system with dodge, kick and execution streak. Those are the reasons why I chose Odyssey and Brotherhood.
Black Flag was my most replayed AC game by a mile. Other than that, I would replay AC2 trilogy, AC Origins and AC Odyssey.
AC 2 trilogy, Black Flag, Unity and Origins for me, these games have very special spaces in my heart
Great content mate.
Glad you enjoyed it
My top AC games are
1. Black Flag
2. Origins
3. Odyssey
4. Valhalla
Odyssey is def my favorite and most replayed. I’ve replayed odyssey about 4 or 5 times straight and each time I try to go for a different experience. Try to make multiple classes. Do different things, it’s fun
Unity. Easy. The customization, the combat and parkour, the multiplayer, the creativity and expression youre allowed. Theres always a new way to play and approach things, really lets you feel like a master assassin. Did i mention the drip?
Haven't watched the video yet, just wanted to share my thoughts before doing it.
For me Odyssey is the most replayable, It has the best mastery system out of the 3 RPG games, Origins and Valhalla are just vague damage increases (Valhalla's isn't even noticeable imo) while Odyssey has a very deep system that let's you improved specific aspects, combined with NG+ and the option to make different choices or play as the other character, means there's something new to try out. I'm on my second NG+ restart (3rd playthrough) and it keeps getting better every time.
Out of the old ones, I'd say ACII, that game is always enjoyable to play again no matter how much time has passed.
The worst replayable one (for me) is definitely AC3, why? Because I don't like having to clear the map again having to walk through every inch of it to clear the fog, played it twice on the normal version and the remaster and as a completionist, I don't want to do it again, it's a great game but imo best played just once.
Idk why but there is always something about starting up a new game of Black Flag and feeling the freshness of arriving in Havana for the first time and wearing the unaltered Duncan Walpole fit which is UNMATCHED 😩
Origins, easily.
Odyssey easily
Ac 2
Valhalla, easily
The RPG games are way too long and overly grindy to be even remotely fun to replay imo
@@inthecloudz1272 I agree
For me it's 2 and brotherhood. I have played those games for SO MANY hours and i just never get enough of them.
I'm also not willing to play Valhalla again ever. I already suffered to end the game once just to see the story and there's no need to repeat this pain again.
My favorite game genre is JRPGS. Valhalla's game length is right up my alley and is actually one of my favorites in the series. I love long 100+ hr games. I never found it boring either.
AC Rogue is the one I replayed the most and this is why:
Story doesn’t drag on and doesn’t feel bloated.
The game lets you do most things around sequence 4, which is pretty fast for the franchise
Has my favorite protagonist
And has the best Portuguese dub in the AC franchise, so its a win for me.
Despite AC3 not being in my top 5 favorites in the series, it’s weirdly my most replayed. Guess it’s just the story and time period for me. Definitely agree with the #1 choice also. Great list tbh valid points and great reasoning.
I think Unity is easily worth a 2nd/3rd playthrough because the setting and action are perfect, but I do have to say Odyssey just has so much more you can do that can make playthroughs unique
I think I’ve played every AC game twice even Valhalla. Personally I’d give it to Black Flag. It may feel grindy for some people to upgrade the ship but I always have fun doing and playing through the story. If I were to say my favorite game to platinum, it’s AC Brotherhood. The story, historical and modern day, are just so good.
On the flip side, Valhalla is the hardest for me to replay. I feel like Odyssey was my limit in how much game I can handle. I’m actually replaying odyssey right now 😂
This list is probably so close to mine, I’m so surprised. I swear I thought I was the only one who liked playing through AC3, and have replayed it multiple times. AC Odyssey is a no brainer too with its multiple endings and choices and builds. AC Brotherhood is a classic AC experience where combat and stealth are fun, along with the old parkour system. It’s also not that long. And then AC Mirage has replay ability in mind, with the permadeath mode and new game plus, it’s so great. And then Unity being just behind those games, the stealth and parkour are always fun, but some Unity jank can easily just ruin the vibe, but when you’re in a flow it’s great.
I would say Black Flag for replayability. Origins and Odyssey I return to a lot but only exploring and clearing out camps, not replaying from start to finish. They’re just too big to restart with other games to play.
Ezio's trilogy is right up there. Any game you finish, you don't go back to it immediately. I honestly have no issues with going back to an old game. Just because it doesn't have better graphics doesn't make it bleak in comparison to the newer ones. To me, they are the most complete Assassin's games. Ubisoft have forgotten the formula over the past few renditions. Hopefully Shadows brings it back.
Im replaying Origins and Oddessy on ng plus and it's been amazing 🤩❤️😌
AC Origins, the game just has alot going for it, and the game isnt as grindy as Odyssey or Valhalla either, and there's alot of weapons and outifts to experiment with too and not to mention the two dlcs for this game and on top of that the story is fantastic in origins it's a great origin story of how the brotherhood came to be and also getting revenge for Bayeks son. Fantastic game
I mean the rpg trilogy should be because they all have good graphics and with better pcs it gets even better and they have the most content if someone would say ac1 > Ac Odyssey (in terms of replay value) ima get a stroke
For me replayability of a game mostly depends on how well designed the game is. It doesn't necessarily need to give me extra content or change things on a second playthrough, just have a game designed well enough that it makes me wanna replay it often. For example Half-Life 2 basically has no replay value at all, but still, I played it so many times just because of how almost perfectly designed it is.
In Assassin's Creed's case, it would be 2 for me. AC2 is just a sweet spot, it doesn't have too many extra things, but it doesn't have too little either. It's just in a perfect spot.
When it comes to replayability in Assassin's Creed, it is not the side content. It has everything to do with just exploring the story again.
I play through them all every so often, just experiencing the story again. I'm not worried about the side content or everything the games have to offer.
Also, people who start another playthrough right after finishing a game are psychopaths.
I'm not 100% sure if you've made a video about this, but would you be interested in ranking all the main theme songs of the games?
Actually, I'm also waiting for him to create that content
I've always wanted to but I don't know how to execute that video. I wouldn't want to just play 3/4 minutes of music 10 times.
@TheHiddenOne690 You could potentially play 10 seconds of the most memorable/recognizable parts of the songs at the end of the review of each theme song, or let it play in the background as you give the review. That way, you could potentially avoid the copyright issue with the ranking too, since you're talking over the music and you don't extend the use of the song.
@@TheHiddenOne690 Maybe I can look it up on other channels, but I'd rather know it from your opinion.
Hope you have plenty of time to do so. We support you ✌🏼⚔️
Smart smart
Black Flag personally, but Origins is a close second, because Black Flag was my first AC game so I love coming back to it... so... Bias
Rouge for me I prefer the Morriagn compared to the jackdaw and playing as a “bad guy” makes me come back to it time and time again
I love playing Black Flag’s ship play. It’s between that border of old gen and new, so the gameplay isn’t appalling
It depends on NG+ for me. If I have to start a new game after finishing it once, then I'll have to spend more time doing the stuff that really isn't interesting. This makes it harder if it becomes a matter of finances which the center games perfected as side activities. With NG+ I'm free to ignore anything besides main story as crafting/upgrading/searching/farming/traveling takes a back seat to what I want to do. The first time 'I played it' is over. One never recaptures that, but we can better navigate the experience to our liking.
My favorite to replay are Syndicate and Odyssey. I love the setting and main characters in both. On the other hand I never want to see Valhalla ever again.
agreed odyssey is top notch
Ive played ever assassin’s creed game since the first. Ive replayed almost all of them at least once. The 2 i have to say i consistently had the most fun with were black flag and syndicate
AC Mirage for me. A short and sweet story, with really fun assassinations and setting.
With regard to whether or not Odyssey is an Assassin's Creed game: it's not. It has simply used the series title to boost sales while simultaneously continuing the trend of having less to do with the actual premise of the series.
AC Odyssey best replayability specially on NG+
For me Assassins Creed 1 is higher. I mean, yeah it was repetitive. Do some investigations, kill the target and all over again. But this is what I would expect from a game about the real historical assassin. Because brotherhood of assassins in ac1 was real. I also find those investigations fun.
Another thing,Black Flag would also be second for me. Because of ship of course. Discovering new places never gets old. Even discovering those extremly small beaches that only has one chest has a great feeling. Put that with looting ships its definetly second.
And first is Unity. Because of those blackbox missions and because how extremly customazble Arno is.
I know it’s the newest but I’d say mirage, it has the classic assassins creed formula that I love mixed with elements of the newer games, and length is quality not quantity. I’m replaying on new game plus right now trying to get all achievements then will do permadeath mode on hard, so much fun
Another W vid from the goat, haven't watched the vid yet but ima 100000% give it fo black flag, it is a little slow in the beginning but upgrading your ship, and pludering other ships NEVER get old for me, and the story was AMAZING, the side missions are great, the modern day did kinda suck but you can just run through everythinh fairly quickly, and Unity is the WORST replayable wise you cant even have more than one game save ! Need I say more ?
I have a different favorite replay depending on category. If I just wanna play around and have fun it's definitely Black Flag. If I wanna experience an amazing storyline again I pick either Origins or AC2. If I wanna immerse myself in the historical era and characters I usually pick AC3. And recently, if it's pure stealth gameplay I want I'm definitely going with Mirage.
I’ve replayed Black Flag, Brotherhood, AC 2, AC 1, AC3, Sydicate, Origins, Odyssey and Revelations. Never finished Unity due to glitches or Valhalla due to fatigue (though I finished the main story line) have not played Mirage (yet). I enjoyed Black Flag and Syndicate the most.
My favourite part about black flag is just walking into a tavern/just standing near a group of singers on an island....I swear they have the most beautiful music
Funny enough my most replayed is AC1. As a young teen, it just blew my mind to crazy levels. I must have replayed it more than 20 times by now.
i literally replayed all games from AC1 to AC4.
