    I like the fact that you use the knife, a lot of people only buy super expensive knives and then baby them, you take a knife, tune it to your specs and use it, I respect that!

    Hello from Oklahoma! I always say, find a knife YOU like. Use it, make it your own, and it will not let you down. It doesn't matter if it costs $10 or $1000. Good job! Thanks for the video! I hope you will be feeling better soon. God Bless! Merry Christmas!

    Still one of the best knives you can get for the outdoors. I think I might file down the guard on mine as well.
    I've already changed the edge angle. Actually, I won a second Prodigy in October. I think I'll give that one the treaatement as well.

    Cool, sometimes the cheaper is the best, or at least not below much more expensive stuff, if you know what to look for and where to look, very good deals can be made, not only in the knife "world". All the best, hope that you "will be walking straight again" soon. :o) Nice day!!!

    Great Video! What angle did you use to modify the edge of your Prodigy? I have a couple of Prodigies attached to Go-Bags and also have a couple of Gerber Strongarm which to me are like an upgraded Prodigy with a more capable sheath but it still has the same edge so I am very interested to find out what angle you used and what process you used to change the edge.

    Hello from Greece my friend i wanted to ask you if any hard tooth on Gerber prodigy knife has ever been broken? Which one do you personally find better with or without teeth? if you can make a video with the same knife with teeth and no teeth why l say but it but who

    • @MrMadhouse70
      @MrMadhouse70  Před 4 lety

      I have never broke a tooth on the serrations on a prodigy. I have use the prodigy for some years now with batooning and that kind of stuff. I live in a boreal area so all kinnd of threes we got there the prodigy stand up well for. I find the serrations better for almost everything i use the blade for but i like the tip of the knife non serrated for example skinning. I dont own a non serrated prodigy or strongarm so that test would be dificult. If you are not sure buy a non serrated knife. They will work also fine. fact is most people want them but i prefer combo edge.

    Tjenare! Spanade in dina videos, roligt innehåll. Förstår att du gillar Gerber, vad tycker du om deras Strongarm? Den kommer ju även med sågtandning om man föredrar det. Själv föredrar jag en vanlig egg (bl.a. därför det fick bli Strongarm), framförallt då jag tycker de är lättare att underhålla och slipa.
