Pretty much every car has a skid plate you remove for the oil change anyhow... Techs throws your plastic skid plate out because they forgets to put it back on afterwards, seen it at every shop iv ever worked at..

EVs have only been mass produced for what? 15 years? You know who owned Ford Model A’s when they were first produced. The elite. The average household income in 1900 was roughly $450 and a Model A cost anywhere from $600-$1000. But improvements in manufacturing and technology made them much more affordable relative to American wages as time progressed. Hang tight, in no time EVs will be affordable as well.
The chevy bolt, nissan leaf, and mini cooper ev are all $30k or less and there are many more electric vehicles that can be had for less than $50k. Sure they aren't exactly cheap but what new car is these days?
I'm sure a shorter wheelbase is nice for off-roading but one of the great things about EVs is being able to have ridiculously big vehicles and the accompanying luxuries without worrying much about fuel cost and emissions. I greatly prefer the additional space and comforts in the larger truck, that thing is like a mobile cabin in the woods, all it is missing is a nice camp bed and reading nook.
As long as you’re not towing anything heavy you should have plenty of juice to do whatever you need. And if you have a couple of solar panels you may need to wait an entire day tops , BUT you would you be able to move the vehicle in case of an emergency. Or you could also just pack a generator and put 5 gallons of gas. If it’s an emergency, it’s an emergency and it would require a drastic Solution
@@Proximittee you can't solar charge that thing. Even a 110v outlet gets you about 3 miles of range per hour charging. That many solar panels is prohibitive for off roading and the setup would cost over $10k additional. A Jerry can of gas is about $25 bucks.

It’s a street car. The engineers agree. Watch the suspension. Very very stiff sway bars and chassis- not much articulation. It also has all season street tires designed for minimum rolling resistance(also, an all terrain would destroy the range of the vehicle). Then there’s the drivetrain- no 2 speed transfer case. That’s a problem especially for steep and technical trails. Instead of using gear reduction to control wheel speed like EVERY SINGLE purpose built 4wd ever- it uses abs software to control wheel speed. This is especially dangerous on slippery trails as the car will apply the brakes for you and potentially cause the wheel(s) to lose traction. All bad qualities. You clearly lack mechanical knowledge. At least you’ve got a whole bunch of arrogance to fill it’s place up there. Clown

They all blew up and burnt up before leaving the factory. We can’t go full electric without enough power and options. Im sorry but an electric 4x4 is yet to beat an atv
The needles are not for bike tires. They usually use Schrader valves which most tires use as well. The needles are for things like football, soccer/basket balls, etc

It's the only car to de-throne the McLaren F1 from the doug demuro scoring system in the past 3 years with an overall highest score of 74/100. In my opinion it is the perfect car.
Infrastructure is currently a big issue where I live holding me back. Current prices are still very high and unknown repair cost are a long term concern without warranty. In a few years possibly, but a hybrid or similar is best option for myself.

It's even better than most offroaders, since it's electric, the gravitational centre of the car is lower, so it's more stable on the ground.
