I want to see you guys train together. He says he enjoyed doing chest with Samson who focuses on the stretch and squeeze but he admits to enjoying bullying the weights.
He also doesn't want to target the glutes at all. He has specifically said that.
Sulek is years away from every dreaming of training like Eric
@@cgbachSo what? They arent competing. Both gymrats doing what they love to do. Do you man
Since I started following you, and changed the way I lift from a full range with faster tempo, no pause, too slow eccentric, pause in a FULLY STRETCHED position and more focus on the eccentric than concentric, it changed everything!! My lifts and post workout I feel amazing and all credit too you and Renaissance Periodization for the truth, not bro science!
I've only been going to the gym for 3 months and I train like this. If I hadn't watched any videos from Dr. Mike, I would probably train differently
Bro same here but what is rep range you go with this technique and how much sec or min it takes to complete one set
I switched maybe 5 months ago. I'm enjoying not having my shoulders torn up by the heavy weights. I also seem to be growing again.
@@drinkashoey one set take how many reps and time
@mmorya4664 About three minutes with rest. I do at least 10 and then as many as I can do until the burning gets too bad. Then I cry while resting 😢
"Im a method actor" 😂
16:54 notes to make everyone
1. consistency.
2. Stability
3. durability.
i found you when dr. mike did a technique review, i love the vids man, keep it up
Thanks for sharing!
Super huge and motivated for me too. thanks guys sharing

영상 잘 보고 갑니다~~홧팅!!
First--love Eric's knowledge and intensity--high level amazing athlete!
Yes, Eric is a charismatic, smart, kind, strong and very lively athlete. A rare quality these days.
sam and eric are two of the best lifting youtubers
Like sam says there are merits to both styles of training and thats how ive been doing it the last few years. Definitely alot less injuries doing more RP/eric style thats for sure. This is best my joints have felt in probably 10 years (been training more than 20)
Walking a mile in the guy's shoes. You just earned a ton of respect from me.
Was gonna comment that... Eric taking the time and having the actual effort to do what Sam does before engaging in his analysis makes a HUGE difference to the overall quality of the content and is an awesome display of his intellectual honesty.
Not only that, he spends more time in the last minutes talking about he learned from the experience than actually going on and on about what's wrong with Sam's workouts (everybody, even Sam himself is aware his shortcomings). Eric's nailing it!
More like Tom Platz style on the laying hamstring curls
You're a brave man Eric. If I tried that I'd definitely get injured.
9:13 when I was younger I said Trinh likes him but I’m older I definitely subscribe to Eric’s approach
Respect
😄🤟 Eric, you inspire, inform, and you rock!! 😄✌️🙏 - Jwb.
Random hunter Labrada tip: for exercises like quad extensions and leg press where you need to kee your hips buried, wear your straps so you can literally strap into the machine, or you know, bring a seatbelt lol
Bro same here but what is rep range you go with this technique and how much sec or min it takes to complete one set ???
In a triceps video you said you want your body in line with the cable, so bend over. Would the same apply with cable laterals where the way is to go with Egyptian cable laterals? For cable curls would you want to lean back throughout?
Haha Sara!
Song at the start of the video?
I hope Marvel consider you a a new Logan
He looks more like Sabertooth material, though.
@@chayotoMuch more appropriate. I wouldn't mind him as Colossus, if he can pull a Russian accent. 😂
i cant stop laughing
Do you consider yourself a pro bodybuilder without being an ifbb pro
Something about hamstring machines freaks me out. I feel more comfortable hitting heavy rdl’s then full loading just my hamstring but idk. Preference I guess.
Pad is rolling up and down your calves on hamstring curls. That means your knee is not in line with the pivor point. Need to either get taller or adjust the bench and your position.
You two should together
My Man U r gassed. Turn that steady state into some endurance cardio lol
got my own Leg Day today, only 1 working set each(Smith Squats, Hacks, Leg Extensions and reverse Nordics, as well as SLDLs and some abduction work, 2 sets of super ROM Leg Press, Leg Curls and leaned back, back supported rectuds Femoris focused leg extensions the second leg day) cause I'm on a mini cut, so low volume(hitting everything every 4 days) but still wanna keep the exercises in when I bump up the volume right after(while eating 200-300g more carbs).
Sounds badass brother I might try this but on a bulk so maybe a touch more volume when I try
Bravos America Sulek Gym America România Olympiea
He basically “yanks” the weight, he goes beyond full rep failure and goes to like 1/8th rep failure, most people don’t like training like that, it seems to me he more so just picks a heavy weight and tries to get the reps there somehow, such as even yanking it, vs picking a moderate weight and “walking up” the ladder of progression over time, but with steroids and eating, it seems to have made him progress faster, just with caveats
💪😁🤙
I would love to see you do my workout. I am a Nobody and 1/3 the size of yours but I train hard - maybe to hard for a natural.
I think you would like it.
❤❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉🎉👌👌👌
10:30, the camera guy should have focused on the quads while he was trying to flex them, but that face ain't that bad tho.😏
Collab?
I am new in the gym. How can I strengthen my joints and connective tissues?
If you just type in bulletproof exercises here on CZcams it will give you a ton of exercises you can do to get your joints and stuff stronger for a bunch of different body parts ie; shoulders, knees, wrists, lower back etc
@@jricknuts8067 thanks
Well you're in the right place, listen to Eric here and Renaissance Periodization and their vids. Training like them will strengthen and mobilize your joints, muscle and connective tissues greatly
Eric SUA Gym
Do a trained like branch warren video. You will be humbled 🙂
I like how Eric goes full bore on legs despite having massive legs. I know some guys would back off a little bit and try to round out more but i honestly hate rounding out BS. Massive legs are massively asthetic.
What even is sam sulek just a guy on youtube?
Honestly have no idea why everyone is all about Sam Sulek. He’s a flash in the pan and hardly has the creds that Mr. Janicki has much less folks like Jonni Shreve or Dr. Mike do. Not hating on the guy at all, but seriously there’s a significant difference between professionals and hobbyists.
Him being a hobbyist is the reason most people follow him lol. Most of Sam's fanbase are casuals, they couldn't care less about all the technicalities of BodyBuilding. Most of them just need the motivation to get in the gym and stay consistent and that's what Sam gives them.
As someone who does listen to all the people you mentioned, I am a Sam Sulek fan but take almost none of his advice.
I like Sam for pure entertainment and he has great motivational energy.
I watch Eric for similar reasons but Eric is a lot funnier than Sam and as much as Sam is a freak so is Eric but Eric has much better asthmatics imo. But I still find myself locked into Sam's videos every day.
Sam’s content is different the the others that were named so it’s a different demographic where those people want to see someone like them talk about what’s on their mind rather then get lectured by the others (I prefer Dr. Mike, Eric, Johnny over sam but I’m looking for facts and ways to improve myself rather then someone that puts out content like sam)
There's always a fad someone follows or collects ! Kinda like Bennie babies back in the days 😂😂 . As for me i only waste my time if someone workouts clean . I personally don't want to see a fake i want to see what's possible for me without the gear that's how I've been doing it for years .
@@UnitedWeStandFreedomdude eric is on peds. Lol
In chest workouts you always do more fly movements than pressing ??? Is this true
You trained nothing like sulek. He wouldn't know what a slow negative was if you showed him. 😂
You missed an opportunity to dress like him, with a hat, a wig and baggy pants.
I cringe every time Sam lets all that weight just get taken by gravity and drop on his tendons, honestly just a dumb thing kids do... Actually can't even just say kids because I see grown men do it too, it's common sense
I'm probably gonna get a lot of hate for this, but man you look so much better and bigger than Sam sulek, you should be more popular, there I said it
00:52 don't give us that look, some of us are married. We shouldn't...I mean, we can't! Just stop looking...
IDK Eric, the way you're huffing and puffing after Sam's sets, maybe you should add a couple days of "explosive" sets to your rotation to work on your cardio.
You are right. But to be fair, he did say he would add a few things that Sam has been doing.
Huffing and puffing shows a stress on the cardiovascular system, which doesn't directly do anything for muscle size which is the primary focus of both Sam's and Eric's training
@@reznorweist6267 Oh wow, thanks for explaing that your cardiovascular system isn't directly involved with building muscle. I had no idea how that worked. But it does correspond with ya know, your overall health and longevity.
@@pablowentscobar I absolutely agree, but it's best to train cardio separately from lifting, which I know Sam does and I'm pretty sure Eric does, that way youre able to focus on each individually.
6 plates a side on leg press? Really?
What are you saying?
I do maybe 10 plates a side now, I havent been on one in awhile. I used to do 14 plates a side when I was bodybuilding nonstop for 5 years. I saw dorian do 16 plates a side, set of 20, super fast, the day after winning olympia so shredded to the bone.
6 plates is like doing bicep curls with a pink 2 1/2lb dumbbell, grimacing, and talking about a stretch. Its a stretch alright. Stretched your credibility until it snapped.
💩
The way Sam bounces off the extended partials makes me cringe.
I guess the way multiple time Olympia champs like Jay and Ronnie made you cringe too?😂
You train with way better technique than he does.
Hey wth. Use the same weight as sam.
Sam Sulek has no clue !!
Professional bodybuilder ? last time i checked you lost usas
so you are not a profesional bodybuilder unless you win every comp, ok got it....what even is that argument bro
Wait a minute! You
didn't do the 5 plate narrow stance heel lifted
Squats he does after leg
Extensions and leg curls! Cheater!
