In this video I am both reviewing and installing the Lasfit LS Plus H11 H8 H9 LED bulbs on a 3rd generation 2022 Toyota Tacoma off-road with the halogen headlights. This is an awesome mod for your Tacoma as you are able to replace the halogen Tacoma headlights with a much nicer LED bulb. The LED bulb is much brighter and looks way better than the halogen bulb! A link to the Lasfit LED headlight bulb is also above! These super big LED bulbs are also applicable for other vehicles with big headlight housing. It supports high power with a big cooling fan for high-efficient heat dissipation. Definitely a great improvement in a 3rd gen Tacoma! Awesome mod if you are looking for a great mod for your Tacoma! Lasfit sells quality LED products, so I definitely recommend looking into them! Works with 2016 - 2023 Tacomas.

Nice LED bulbs! I always love the LED headlight. The HID ballast is more likely to burn out compared to the simple LED setup.
Yeah I have 50/50 luck with HIDs, and more of a chance for one HID to change colors a bit over time so then the pairs won’t match anymore
So I followed your video and the advice on loosening the headlight to get bulb in drivers side was good. I did have issues getting the passenger side installed. Disconnecting the washer tank was really a simple must. Then I was not able to get the passenger side to click in. I went to Lasfit video and they explain how turning the base to full counter clockwise allows it to match up. Plus the wires in the light need to be pointed down or the bulb is upside down. Very important. If you could add these details to your video it would be complete and would avoid anybody fighting installation and getting bulbs upside down.
Got some last fit air leds for my lexus there amazing.
Do you have a video on upgrading the fog lights ?
Hi, I bought my tacoma 2 months ago and whoever had it before did led upgrade. I've noticed that everytime I turn on my truck headlights flicker. Any solution?
My 2019 Tacoma Trd off road is not twist plug and play. It is has clip in it. Anyone know what type is it?
Do you get any complaints from on coming traffic drivers?
Will these LED’s illuminate wider as well as further? I have tinted windows and my halogens do not reach very wide. So at night I can honestly barely see out of the drivers side window without street lights
They are wider and further.
What about the high beam lights done you have to replace them as led too I didn’t realize that the high beam was a different bulb at first
I did the highbeams on a 4Runner…not Tacoma but it can be done for sure
Did you need to secure the adaptor? Does it rattle while you drive?
No rattles or anything, just used what was in the box.
Where i can buy
Does one bulb have low and high beam in it or do you need 2 bulbs for each side.
The only question I have regarding this is the V shaped, which way did you mount them, the video doesn't show??
Sorry I’m not quite understanding the question, the “v shaped?” Did you want to point out what part of the video your question is in?
@@RobsAutos The right way to put the Led in headlight is for led to be pointed at 3 and 9 clock, we know that, but in which right way, you can turn it always 180 degree...if you look at the part of casing where the leds are mounted there is a V or U shape
I want to do high beam and low beam. What type do i need for both. H11 or h what?
Yes h11 for 3rd gen taco
Have you did the fogs?
No, but not too hard
I’m so confused as to why all the lights say h11/h9/h8 I can’t find any that are specifically h11 or h9. Do they have they wish for both high and low beems?
Physical size aka fitment is the same :)
@@RobsAutos so I just need to order four of them to replace my high and low beams. I used your link and it says the same thing gives me all three sizes in one bulb?
Or will that only work for low beam
@@FDESLOSSY IIRC, I ordered 4 of the same bulbs and they fit in both the low and high beams.
@@RobsAutos awesome thank you I’ve been so confused about this
On Amazon it says it doesn’t for a 2019 Tacoma???
Lol it also says it won't fit a 2022 Tacoma. Weird.
Thank you for your insightful videos. And I have a question: I installed this Lasfit H11 LED bulbs for my low beam headlamps which make it brighter than the original OEM halogen bulbs on my 3rd gen Taco. It's really bright! But after 2 months, it keeps blowing out the 10amp fuse. Did anyone has this issue? Should I remove the LED bulbs completely or can I change the fuse from 10amp to a higher 15amp fuse? Is it okay to do that because I think the LED bulb is drawing up more power than the 10amp? Thanks!
I have not purchased them because they are a higher wattage than even the stock halogen even though it’s a LED. I wouldn’t recommend going with a higher rated fuse because then you may burn the wires.
Will these also work as the fog lights ?
And the high beams ?
@@andyllanez9185 If you go to the site I have linked in the description, they will be able to show you the correct lights you need
Fog light is H19, I believe.
How did they hold up
Still as good as Day 1
Is normal to hear the fan on the bulbs ?
Yes, smaller fan means higher speed to sufficiently cool the lights
Thanks just installed them , can I use this same lights for high beams and daytime running lights ?
these don’t come with high beam?
You can buy the high beam leds separately
Do you need to buy high beams. If you turn your high beams on can you tell it’s amber. Also is it bright enough to not need high beams?
Will this fit on a 2023?
Yes, nothing changed with those models
I got a 23 sport and am wondering if I can put these in. Im confused cuz I keep hearing you can’t just put an led bulb into the halogen housing
@@thefilmjerk901 if the 2023 sport halogen housing is the same as the base off road then you can.
@@thefilmjerk901 they do just have to loosen up the housing you’ll be good 👍🏾
Guys guys guys ×100😅
I find oncoming vehicles with LEDS blinding...the color is irritating, and they're just too bright. The narrow color spectrum of light seems to miss a lot on the road.
You might have astigmatism friend
@@itzarelmartinez3472 I'm getting an eye exam in a few weeks....turning 70 next month....cataracts maybe....getting old sucks!
@@RR-pw5nbmost people don’t know how to adjust headlights these days, and lots of dummies out there just drive with their high beams on all the time. I have a Gladiator lifted 4.5 inches on 37s and I don’t get flashed. I do kind of feel bad for some people when I pull up to a light behind them and I know my lights are in their mirrors, can’t really do anything about that.
You don’t need screwdriver to remove unplugged old light bulbs. Use a finger push little button release. Mechanic don’t use a screwdriver push release.
That’s embarrassing I ever seen!
hey, mechanic & factory trained technician here, screwdrivers can be pretty helpful to gently pry apart stubborn connectors without breaking the plastic or wasting much time trying to show how tough we are by only using our beat up hands to end up breaking the damn thing in the end 😂
this literally takes away the DRL running light, you cannot see it anymore
