I’m sorry but deban is literally the Gordon Ramsay of music 😂
and we love him for that
@@pedroaraujo8401 do we?
No because he likes the scheiße entries
We LOVE him because his opinion is Real !
@@saranogal8235 no he’s an annoying pretentious queen
It's kind of funny to see the cuts between Deban and William & their opposite opinions loool
I'm not quite sure why everyone thinks every song has to have a huge high note climax, cos it doesn't. This is a great song I will certainly have in my playlist because it's catchy and has a good vibe. These sort of songs are quite rare in Eurovision anyway
As you say, it is nice to have a song with a different "journey" or shape. Respect to them for creating their own flow. We will see if it pays off in May!
@@Wiwibloggs yeah you're right. I hope it does cos I'm a fan of his songs
I agree I’m so done with everyone wanting a key change or a high note.. like we are in 2021 not in 2011, a climax should rather not be there rather than be there - like name one song on the radio that has a high note and key change
I agree so much ♥️. I think it’s eurovision syndrom, since many songs are currated just for contest and to do well there. Not many times you hear “normal, current” song, If you know What i mean
Literally What i was thinking! So many eurovision songs are currated just for that one occasion
We dont need any revamps on this. Whoever likes it, likes it, whoever doesnt, too bad, theres songs from other countries to choose from... I personally love it. It gets better with every listen and i hope Benny doesnt try again to please everyone. Good luck. Benny you have my vote.
He said in interview that he felt pressured, when he saw the negative reactions, even tho it was his style. This year he said he wanted to have more fun with it.
@@alzbetal1499 Thank you for sharing.
It’s my number 1 this year idk why I just love it so much. It gives me good vibes
From Azerbaijan 🇦🇿 Good luck Czech Republic 🇨🇿❤🇦🇿
Thank you so much from the Czech Republic 🇦🇿❤🇨🇿
Good luck to Azerbaijan from CZ. We have amazing singeris...
That song, I'm feeling that I'm in the concert
.
full of people jumping around and have fun.
This is a BOP!!!!! LIKE OMAGAD
I LOVE the contrasting reactions and Debans comments made me cry with laughter 🤣 like the song think it will be good on the stage!
Omaga, Deban. You need to calm down. 😁
This song is such a grower oh my gah.
Benny made an amazing afropop song, but people literally tore it to pieces. He had to revamp it to pleasure the fans but they still criticized it...
So why should he come back with the same vibe and style?
I think this song is more „generic” but also more approachable to people.
I believe him. He's a great performer. He will slay!
Right? Europe showed with their reaction that they're not ready for Afropop! So why would he come back with a song with similar flavours when Kemama got trashed for it?
Exactly...especially when Benny wanted to say a lot of things with Kemama (growing up etc, his roots)...so I'm pretty sure reading all the comments talking about the song, how shitty it is, wasn't nice for him. So he created a new song, which is more fun and just not that deep.
Never got how people could criticise Kemama this much. I guess I was ready for afropop because I loved Kemama from the start!
@@Marzi29 absolutely agree we are not ready, but on the other hand some one time payment Afrolabour again would be nice. 👺
Benny doesn’t need to change anything
Just like at vidbir last year, i think the song will really grow on people after they see it live. Benny is one of the few professional performers in esc this year and I think he'll know how to own the stage. Czech have always been good at staging anyway
Good luck Czech Republic from Slovenia 🇸🇮❤️🇨🇿
Im in love with William! Periodt
lol!! thank youuuu!
Deban 🙄
William 😍
Me 😂
hahahahaha. love your emoji game!
Love the song, I will vote for it!!
This is my winner so far. I think this song is way better than kemama and has a good chance to qualify for the final. Visuals and Music are awesome
better than last year for sure
Can’t believe I never realised Omaga came from Oh My God! My reaction lacks that! Thanks guys! 🤍
I love this 😍
Very good song, catchy....
I love the song, the beat, and the film couples vinigettes ^^ (Dirty Dancing, Forrest Gump, Back To The Future, Rocky...)
I love "Omaga" - it is supercatchy, fun and upbeat and gives me a bit of Maroon5 feeling, a slight "Moves Like Jagger"- feel in other words. It is really good as it is not a typical Eurovision song at all. Also I do love the play on words with the title and agree that its a great hashtag and will be remembered for it. Last year Romania had the really cool play on words with "Alcohol You" and Czechia is taking that spot this year. I did love Kemama as well, but i am sorry, african sounds havent done well for anyone in Eurovision yet so its safer to go for a contemporary sound like that for Czechia. I am sure the live performance will be amazing as Czechia is on a streak when coming to awesome stagings nowadays. Hooray!
this is a great entry
This time the point goes to William. I absolutely love this song as it is now
I agree with you and wait until you see its live performance
Well everyone has opinions and even tho lots of people did not like this entry I think this song it's amazing!!!! Loved it!!! Already stuck in my head lol maybe kinda generic? Yes but it doesnt mean that it's a bad think...and he's a snack lol
Surely a good sign if it's stuck in your head!
@@Wiwibloggs omagaaaa omagaaaaa
Well i like the song. I dont get all the negative reactions. All artist and countries gave their best to give US a show and i respect every entry ☺️ i may like one song more than other but we dont have to be rude toward the artist 😉 cant wait for Eurovision 🥰 good luck Chzekia 😎
Deban is SO not impressed with anything 😂
Is he okay?
it is terrible song what he supposed to do 😂
@@southake.3266 no it was not at all
I love Deban for being that honest all the time - we gotta keep it real, hunty
I died at 4:16 😂😂😂
I like the song a lot :p
Deban: “Put out a new song!” 🤣
Its a good song, it will have good staging and he will slay live and most probably qualify. The problem im having is I loved the more urban style of Kemama, especially version 1. He tried "fixing" it by filtering the urban sounds to make it sound more mainstream. I was hoping for something even more urban and original but unfortunately the backlash form eurovision-fans given to Kemama seems to have impacted the decision that they need it to sound mainstream.
Exactly!!! 👍
Deban is such a legend.
So much better than last year🥳
deban gets it!!! the song could've been so much more enjoyable and maybe even a top 10 finish if he/his team hadn't tried to shove so many layers into it.... sometimes less is more :)
I really enjoyed the beat in the beginning in the scene where he holds an umbrella as a news reporter, they should've experimented more with that
@@me7093 yeah exactly, if he'd just kept that and then put in some afrobeat flair that built throughout the song it would've been perfect for me.
So true. Benny is a great live performer!. Deban's face reaction is priceless. it is not a bad song. In some parts i am with deban.
I enjoyed this tune!
This doesn't need a revamp.It's so cool
Benny serves PERSONALITAYYYY
He seems fun, the song on the other hand is simple and forgettable. Good luck from Greece
Love you Deban. Your reactions are EVERYTHING!
I'm a little intrigued for the stage performance but at least now I know what Omaga means, I thought it's Czech word or something, hahaha In my language Tagalog (Philippines) that means morning (Umaga) just one letter difference, hehehe 😁.
OMG I AM SO HAPPY TO SEE DEBAN'S REACTION BCUZ I AM FEELING THE SAME. YOU HAD LIKE A WHOLE YEAR TO COME UP WITH A DAMN UPGRADE AND HE GAVE US THIS ... THE AUDACITY
I completely agree with Deban... I'm really sad for Benny but...
I am so happy this year that Czech republic has finally sento to Esc a typical example of Czech music sung in Czech in honour of their great music heritage. This is a catchy tune that easily reminds us of top interpreters like Eva Olmerova, Eva Pilarova, Hana zagarova. You listen to this melody and you can't help but think of Prague. How nice that finally a country respects and promote its own music heritage
Guy on left is my mood for this song..
Better than last year, catchy, but it needs good staging to qualify, so he needs to make it an impressive dance act
the bookshelf scenes is a reference to "You" lmaooo
This is my absolute favorite at the moment :DD I'm sorry but imo this is better than france and lithuania :DDDDDD
As much as I disliked Kemama, I kind of like this one. R&B music is not my type at all, but even I can see it's pretty catchy, cute and pleasant to hear. It's not my favourite and not something I would listen apart from Eurovision, but I feel like it's more consistent than Kemama, has a better full package and leaves brighter impression. It also has a potential to grow live and I'm pretty sure Benny Cristo can make this happen
I don't mind listening to it but I won't search it to listen it again
Love your reactions as always :) I'd just like to point out that from a viewer's perspective it might be better if you both could perhaps be on a call together or facetime during the reaction. Because you're doing it separately, sometimes you both end up talking over one another at the same time and it makes it difficult to sort out what you both are saying. This comes from love, I want to hear what you have to say!
Deban wasn't in the mood since the first second...
That's his new style - deciding what to think of the songs even before they start.
Exactly what i was thinking one second before seeing your comment 😂
I agree with Deban, the original version of Kemama was his best Eurovision effort.
I agree so much with Deban
So. I had to go back and compare how Deban rated Lie to Me in 2018 since the two feel similar. While we have no written or visual review from him, he gave that song just a 3/10. Ultimately that song was 4th in the televote and 6th overall. Deban hating this because it lost some ethnic vibes doesn't kill the song. It is miles ahead of the mess that was kemama to me and I'm ready to see Czechia get another top 10 finish.
I love Deban but he also hyped up last year's french entry which was the most generic 🗑️song that I have ever heard
I would say truth is in the middle... this is not definite top 10 finish but it's also not terrible...
How about that. 0 points in the televote in the second semi final. The song was doomed from the beginning
02:00 MEEEEE
Imagine Graham Norton having an Instagram account called "InstaGraham" xD
InstaGrahama!
Here you can see exactly how someone who is a big ESC fan in the beginning becomes someone who thinks he ate Solomon's s**t and evaluates the songs as if he were the greatest expert in the world. How sad when your own ego outgrows you. A little foresight would be helpful, especially in these difficult times. The ESC was created to strengthen peace and find its way again among the warring nations after World War II. It's supposed to be fun and not Hunger games. Perhaps Deban should realize this before he begins to unleash his wisdom again.
It's approachable, but not up to Kemama as I loved that from the start and enjoyed it even more by the final revamp. I do understand though him trying to avoid the constant criticism that he saw last year with multiple revamps, so I can imagine very little will change with the song due to that.
2:54 they have such opposite reactions at the same time it's ridiculous 😂
Will reminds me of bailey sarian 😅😅sha na Sha sha na shaaaa
Chechia will be high
At the beginning: William.exe stopped working🤣🤣
lol!!!!
You know, I'm partly with Deban. According to Jan Bors I was expecting more .. like he jugded it even better than Lie To Me! And there is another problem.. most of the viewers will see and hear it in the semi for the first time so there's no time for elevation ..
I have to agree with Deban on this one. It's soulless, but the video gives it life.
They missed like all the movie references 😂
Where is Croatia 🇭🇷 Albina Tick-Tock reaction??? There is only Dora results...
He reacts to the 1 minute snippet in the video of Dora along with all of the other songs
I'm with Deban on this one. I just don't get this song at all. Kemama had flavour and identity. This song is completely forgettable, the production is weak and it will get lost again when all the songs are released.
Benny seems really happy and upbeat though. I like him... but hes much better than this
He's singing itself OH MY GOD!!! Thank you next!
Deban and his face expressions are everything.
Please make videos discussing with Deban and not seperate reactions!
I am with Deban. He keeps it real... But Will is right. Benny could turn it over with the right staging and performance
Love the video but the song is pretty generic and overproduced. It's going to be very difficult for this to stand out. Also, it's good to see honest reactions rather than watching channels which are completely positive and sugar-coat everything. Benny seems like a great guy though and I wish him all the best. It could qualify but it'll be 9th or 10th in the semi final if it does.
Eurofans thought Friend of a Friend wouldn't qualify and it won the jury vote in the semi and qualified easily. Also Deban rated Lie to Me 3/10 and it came 4th in the televote and 6th overall. So I wouldn't take Euro fans/critics comments too seriously.
I’m with Deban here. I like Benny and Kemama, but this will struggle. I haven’t heard a less catchy upbeat song for some time now. It has absolutely no discernible melody. 20 listens in.
There are a lot of times Deban and I don't see eye to eye... This is one of those moments Deban is 100% right and on point. When I heard the song I was like "what is this production" it's over produced. Also, there are parts the production drowns out his vocals and it heightens the chaos. Deban is right it feels like a kitchen sink version of Bruno Mars, The Weekend, Justin Beiber... Etc. And, unlike Kemama where at first listen it was whatever and then it became a bop. Omaga is lacking the charm of Kemama.
This song is at my number 6 of 7.
Deban is so right! I don't understand Jan Bors AT ALL!
my taste or language? :D haha.. you know it feels like it splits people in two groups - lovers like me and haters like Deban. That is absolutely ok. Taste differs thats it :)
@@JanBors your admiring of the song) I think it is fun and nice, but it doesn't feel like the best song ever for me... And I love your channel, this is why I am so confused. I really share your taste about many national selections, but I just don't feel the song...
Funny how deban criticises it for being too much like trashy american pop but never says this for sweden who produce the most bland americanised pop ever ...
Absolutely...
I like it more than Kemama :x
I'm with Deban on this one, sorry Czechia I'm not a fan of Benny's song
I am totally agreeing with Deban here. I wanted to hear his Angolan roots like in Kemama! That's what made him unique.
The editor is extremely shady
I think this is better than kemama. I like this one better, however I somewhat agree with Deban.
I'm sorry but this might not be top 10 but I think it might advance to the final. I agree that not all song should have climax and some are about vibes.
I'm with Deban fr...
Deban 👍
Can he perform "kemama" instead?
I want the afro beat back 🙁
Deban good job! This song is bad, and someone had to say that
Could you please make a reaction to "imaginary friend" by VICTORIA? It is one of her potential songs to represent Bulgaria with.
Done ✅
@@Debanize I watched it, and I love the reaction, it's the best song so far! I hope she will sing it on Eurovision.
Unpopular Opinion: KEMAMA is better.
I still listen to Kemama (original version). I fully believe it was underrated!
@@mariosa82 Yaa me too.
This is better after you hear it several times, I was surprised that he started to sing at first second. But it does sound flat. To much going on in one song by constant singing
No, it is definitely not African. Angola?))) Pardon)
I like the chorus but thats it.. It's not bad but I just forget about it once it's off..
Points for being diferent
I don't know if this will be a problem, but this just don't my attention in the first listen, need a couple more listens to get into this. It is potentially a radio hit, but it lacks a memorable hook as a song, and perhaps it will be its downfall in a song contest like Eurovision. This is not a bad entry, he will give a good performance, a borderline qualifier just like last year. I do believe he had a chance of qualifying in 2020, this year I think it is slightly higher, maybe 50/50. The action of Jan Bors needs to be called out for hyping this up as a top 5 and amazing song, and for trashing other national selections. Because this clearly is not top 5 material. And delegations should not do these blindly hyping up entries beforehand anymore as it is bound to disappoint.
I personally think it needs a revamp and more of a buildup, without that don't think it will qualify if the other songs are more unique, like Lithuania, and Ukraine for example. For now, out of the songs that were released so far, this is generic and sadly on the bottom of MY top. But I'm still warming up to it, so we'll see! :)
It's exciting we finally have enough songs to start making comparisons. Ready for the remaining ones!!!
Czech Republic are in semi 2, which is a much easier semi to qualify from. They are not going up against Lithuania and Ukraine! They're up against San Marino, Moldova, Albania, Portugal... honestly, this should qualify easily. Benny has a lot of charisma on stage. You gotta remember that 10 countries qualify from each semi, not just the 'best' few. And this will easily be in the best 10 of semi 2 in my opinion.
@@Marzi29 I know, and I agree it is a weaker semi final, but we still have a lot of songs to be released which could slowly become more competitive:)
@Rebecca Woolf yeah, I agree:)
No revamps please, the last thing he needs is to listen to the feedback of Euro fans again and lower the quality of the song. Enough people like it as it is.
The song and singer are nice but its a bit messy, like others said we cannot catch and remember the melody, which is really a problem for a contest.
All I think about when i hear this song is the Cardi b’s meme.
OMAGA WHAT IS THAT 😂
And the song is unlistenable to me sorry, Kemama was billion times better.
If he has a good staging I will definitely vote for it, but for now its a no. It just doesn't suit a finalist material and it also didn't catch my attention.
