The irony. If folic acid wasn't put in processed food, this wouldn't be an issue.
Yes indeed.
In just a few seconds you just gave me the info I've been searching months for! I have low folate and keep having issues (anxiety, pain, etc) with the prescribed folic acid. I'm very familiar with his subject but everyone kept telling me there is no relation. They say I don't need the methylfolate version, but I'm doing it anyway! Can't hurt. Thank you for spreading awareness ❤️
Thanks so much for watching! 😊
TRY DEPLIN!! RX version of Methylfolate. It changed my brain within DAYS.
I'm compound het MTHFR and have ADHD. I lost my thyroid to cancer and have a long and storied family history of autoimmune disease, diabetes and dopamine deficiencies. Folic acid has been the bane of my family's existence.
I'm sorry to hear this. You might enjoy my longer video on MTHFR:

Thanks for sharing 👍🏻
My pleasure 😊. Thanks for watching!
I've shared a previous video of yours about the MTHFR mutation with soo many people. Got my f&f on a methelated multivitamin. Every single one of us felt better within a week.
Thanks so much for watching! 😊
99% of Autistic people have the MTHFR gene mutation. Taking a quality form of Methyl B12 and Folate makes a huge difference.
Thanks for watching!
It was never the vaccines that caused autism. It was folic acid all along.

Thanks so much for watching! 😊
How many mg of Methylfolate do you recommend daily to experience a therapeutic response?
This is our Methyl B Complex so you can check out the ingredient list which shows the amount of each of the B vitamins:

Where can get a mthr gene test and can we purchase your products from Australia?
Unfortunately we only ship within the US at this time due to challenges with shipping supplements abroad.
I’m taking the Methyl B Complex supplement, but will it also metabolize the folic acid stores from previously consuming synthetic folic acid supplements and foods enriched with folic acid? How do I go about detoxifying my body of folic acid? Thanks in advance.
If you take Methyl B Complex, you generally don't need to worry about small amounts of folic acid exposure or prior folic acid exposure.
Doc I found out I have the MTHFR. I work out 7 days a week and eat healthy. Blood pressure is still elevated. Doctors want to put me on blood pressure meds. I want to avoid that

I have the mutation and started taking l-methylfolate like my doctor told me to but after two weeks I started getting itchy all over (no rash or hives or anything). Have you heard of this response before? Does this mean I need to take less of it, combine with b vitamins, or stop altogether?
No I haven't heard of this before. Maybe you're allergic to an ingredient. It's best to discuss with your physician.
Any guidance on hydroxocobalamin?
I have had patients who were sensitive to methylcobalamin (caused more anxiety) who did better with adenosyl/ hydroxy cobalamin, but this is rare.
Do I need to take other supplements ? Or would this be enough to manage mtfhr?
Methyl B Complex and sometimes Glutathione is also helpful.
@@drrajsree and I can take those two daily ? Do you have a recommendation of Glutathione ??
I take chlorella daily which has many b vitamins etc in it. Do I still need a bcomplex supplement daily? I feel overwhelmed trying to treat this mutation. Every treatment given to me previously made me worse because it was not tested for so folic acid, birth control, sulphasalazine etc all made me horrible unwell to the point I refuse to go back to a doctor as I feel traumatised. Do you think there is sufficient amounts in a green juice like chlorella?
My son has similar symptoms to me too and I can't find a supplement for him
I'm not a big fan of chlorella due to some sources being from China and being contaminated. My son is age 13 and I give him our Methyl B12 Tablet every day.
can those without this gene mutation experience benefits from taking methyl b12 ?
Yes absolutely. Methyl B12 is the big energy vitamin that helps mood, focus, and detox pathways (methylation).
Methy b12 sends me loopy highly anxious and like i am in a fight flight mode maybe this suggests i am an over methylator ? It is all so confusing
Sorry to hear this. You might want to try Adenosyl/ Hydroxy B12. Sometimes it is better tolerated in those who get anxious from methyl B12.
Can you have poor methylation mthfr if your b12 folate levels are normal
Yes. I prefer testing homocysteine which tells me more about methylation. Lower the better. Ideal homocysteine is better. You can learn more about this in my video on MTHFR:
czcams.com/video/Vlu7k-zhUd4/video.html
@@drrajsree thank you I appreciate it, I started taking methyl b12 folate and feel much better overall but I had my b12 and folate checked before and they were normal range could I still have a problem absorbing the regular b12
Why not the ortho B complex?
Due to the MTHFR mutation which is present in 50% of the population, folic acid can't be converted to the active form which is methylfolate.
Totally unrelated but you're absolutely beautiful.
Gosh, that's quite a compliment! 😊
@@drrajsree I hope you don't mind me saying so.
The last thing in the world I would want is to offend you..
I was browsing to find out more information about Methylfolate after hearing about it pertaining to "Type 3 Diabetes" (proposed term, not embraced by the medical community) but your beauty stopped me in my tracks 😮and then I heard your voice 😊 and on top of all that your intelligence 🫠 I hope you have a blessed day 🙏🏻 and I hope at least I was able to make you smile 😄. Least I could do for someone who brightened my day 🌞
@@Azazel5986 go outside lmao
@@wrenchCash me outside!
What about Cyanocobalamin form of b12? Thanks in advance ❤️
Cyanocobalamin will not work for those with MTHFR. Methylcobalamin is preferred.
@@drrajsree it's very tricky to get methyl where I live
