- So some of you guys want to know my thoughts about these two wheels. The Kingsong S18 and the Kingsong S20 and which one is my favourite?

So funny enough they sort it out a big gap they had compared to gotway wheels or Begode has you want that is speed but they continue to make some of the same mistakes but one of them seems that me that was a bit better thought about it. These two wheels show that King song is really searching for a spot for the company that produces the best electric unicycle with suspension.
But is it possible that the Kingsong S20 is a much better electric unicycle than the S18? We will talk about it in this video.

So, no offense, I am just trying to have a deep understanding of this video. Basically, like the previous video about the S20 you made, this review seems again based on the S20 / pre-production version, shipped in Mars / April, am I right? When I heard things like the front lights feeling cheap, the pedals that need to be moved a little bit forward for better acceleration and balance, etc... it sounds like the your making statement about the S20 pre-prod not the production S22...and I don't see the point :/ Kingson taclked many issue since the first release. Of course if you are talking about the production versions that were sent few weeks ago worldwide, that's a different story ... :)
Hi my friend. Thank you for your comment really well structured and agree until a certain extend. So let me structure my thought.. starting with the plastics they will continue to feel cheap that’s what kingsong have done with the s18 (that s18 that you can see on the video is a final production) yes they can be stronger that’s why you don’t see me talking about how frágil they are but the quality will not be there. Pedals moved to the front that happen not because of been a pre production wheel but because the wheel is structured wrong having to much weight on the back… so that will not changed on the final production. Also point out other points that I don’t see you talking because if so your message will make no sense since you are making a comment based that my video is useless but why you also didn’t comment on the fact that the slider where the wheel is put in will continue to be the same and will continue to be as crap as it is? No better not talking about this and other points talked on the video because otherwise your comment will have not way to make sense… hope that explaining you this points will make sense for you now. Hi, interested to hear your thoughts on the s18 SE with the molicel batteries? I only do off-road about 20 miles at a time.
Honestly? If the battery is already too short on the normal version no thank you for the molicel safer more power but less range
I also have s18 and agree with most of what you said. Some thing I didn’t hear you mention is the voltage sag. It’s quite noticeable.
What do you mean about battery sag? Like it happen on the hero that when you accelerate the amount of battery drops fast and after comes back up?
@@MADpack yes something like that. So the end result is that when the battery is middle range like 60%, the wheel feels much weaker. Compared to other wheels like v11 where the voltage sag isn’t as significant until you get to very low battery levels.
Interesting never felt that to be completely honest but the truth is that in the end was a wheel that was to short for my riding style making me almost never use it
I look forward to a review on the production model. And curious to see if you think the plastic battery box & exposed cables of other wheels deserves attention...

@@MADpack I just want it to be fun and easy to get around a big college campus, mild off-roading ability would be nice, and waterproof. Not too worried about range or speakers.

City the s18 is crap the v12hs is the best for that for off road obviously the suspension of the s18 is an advantage

I bought myself a S22 Pro (4000motor) . I wish i could buy inmotion v12 HT but it is not available in my country. So the best option was S22 Pro for me.

the s18 molicel hs so much better performace, tr1 solves the tire issue but it would have been better if kingsong put knobby tire from factory since people buy this mostly for offroad anyway.

You seem very picky, ive been riding s18 for awhile. Seems you need to be a v8f sellsman
When I review the s18 I have tested all the wheels that came out so yes I’m picky :) and I’m not a salesman I just say what I think
Nive video as usual. The S18's only real problem for most people is RANGE.
Yeah definitely for me is more a question of speed
@@MADpack Well that is certainly a potential issue, too. There isn't much room to grow on that wheel in terms of speed. But for many people 30mph and under is fine for their use case I think. Especially for a wheel designed for offroad and trails first and foremost. It is rare for most people to go above 20 mph offroad on trails I believe.
But that range...ugh...just not nearly enough watt hours. Range anxiety sets in all too quickly on the S18. Kingsong really dropped the ball on that wheel. If they updated it with the same 1550 wh in the16X and 18XL I think they would have a viable wheel for lots of people. I would consider one for off-roading then.
Obviously the question of speed is a personal preference and for me not going at least at 55kph is not enough to enjoy a wheel. And range also because this wheel allow me to go to work and come but when coming back I’m already limited
I’ve done 44kph with the s18 in trails:)
As a casual rider and no commuter, range is fine for me! I get 1,5 hours of fun and still have plenty battery left.
I prefer light weight instead of insane range. I have a car for that:)
Honestly, with all the drawbacks with v11, I still choose s18

I completely get it and yes my English is not the best but for someone that only start talking in English 6 years ago and almost with 40 (not a kid anymore) I don’t think is so bad :)
I have the S18 , V12 HT and Master, since the day my Begode Master Arrived, I never ride any of these 2 again, they have been just sitting on the rack collecting dust, maybe going to sell them soon. I still remember how painful when my S18 send me to kiss the ground.
I ride the master 6 times and now is disassembled because from a day to another it turn on alone and start blinking for no reason so yeah this is just my thoughts about your master I would sell it not the opposite way
@@MADpack I think it not just you, I having the same issue, the batch of Master has a lot more trouble, mine was brand new out of the box, lights and display not working, eWheels sent me the new chip to replace it, then it work as it should now. but I still love it the most compare with the others, V12 is not bad at all, I will say, but due to I having a bad knee, a suspension wheel definitely help.
Definitely between the new v12HT and v12hs is a all day long v12hs is much better
Sell wheels you don't use. Best for the environment and help others get into the hobby.
Never had an issue with my s18. Just the range
