The 40T may have lower IR but they still sag lower than a Moli P42A, the P42A also delivers more wh at higher loads regardless of the higher IR(@10A 11,3wh vs 12.4wh @20A 10,1wh vs 10.7wh). The P42As also keep their voltage higher for longer, they sag to 3.3v after delivering 3400mah, where the samsungs start sagging under 3.3V just before 3200 mah delivered, both at 10 amps load, at higher loads the percentual advantage only grows in favor of the P42A.
The 40T does run a few celsius cooler(that's thanks to the lower IR mainly).
The P42As are better cells, but there is absolutely nothing wrong with the 40T and compared to the hi-cap cells, both offer massive improvements so you can't go wrong with either one.

Yeah I feel like the tire change messed with a lot of the battery comparisons. I know my s18 climbes much better with a knobby tire than street tire
Your effort shows in your video quality. I dont think im the only one who could see your channel growing alot from where it is over time. Vacations are important and youtubers should get them too! Keep making stuff you have fun with. You're never going to please everyone so prioritize your own mental health and wellbeing and that will show in your content. This is all about having fun and sharing your love for pevs.
Yes, don't do social media. It is not good for mental health and it also doesn't offer that much added value. Your CZcams channel, on the other hand, is the lone leader when it comes to EUC.

I also have some mental problems since 2011, I've been to therapy and such, the thing is, I felt best when I was working a physical job (fast food restaurant) but now I'm working a very sedentary job and the covid and working from home really got me...

Have a goal in life. Sometimes the goal has to be a tiny one, like riding an EUC. Some people need something tiny. I'm one of those people.

Great vid Adam, thanks! I finally had an opportunity to try the s22 in Toronto this last weekend. Love the suspension, but didn't feel the torque was as big of an upgrade from my S18 as I was expecting. I would absolutely love to see that comparison video between the s22 and the Master. Now go get some well deserved rest my friend!
The new tire will also give you longer range. So... you probably loose a bit more range on the 40T batteries, but compensate by also using the slick tire.

You are a treasure, take care of yourself, I and my closest family and friends have used therapy from time to time and we don't have a war raging nearby- but remember that there is a much greater loving power than you or me keeping the world turning and the heavenly bodies orbiting. Today I was lonely when I went to ride my wheel, I did encounter lots of people and got good practice riding slow and respectful among people and dogs and in rain, but not having any EUC buddy with me made me not want to go as far as and I had planned before turning back( did about 7 miles instead of 10) Now I'm home with my companion, husband of 29 years, he just asked me to make him some cheese eggs and toast so ...... this is the stuff of life EUC is great but only a small tiny part of life. I pray your spirit is renewed and comforted and your soul is revived with hope.
Now this is the way to go :-) I always thought they should supply this wheel with Molicel p42a cells as well. You have to look after yourself, your audience is secure, we wont go away if you take a break. Health/ work balance should always be first. You don't have to produce content. Only when you want to, and only when you are getting some satisfaction from doing it, and have something to say. Don't chase the ratings for heaven sake, not a formula for a happy life. The World is a bigger place than CZcams.

A week??? A week brake? Are you kidding us? One week is not enough. For proper rest and recovery at least two weeks are needed. Everyone should have a vacation at least two weeks every year for the real taking a rest of all the duties that we are accepting in our life no matter that it is our hobby or not. You should take such long brake until the ideas are comming themselves and you can feel, that you really want to do it again. And take a brake anytime you want or anytime you feel it could be useful for you and never ever appologize for that, because you just deserve it! Do not feel bad because of that, it is alright, you have no duties towards us. Enjoy the resting!!! It is your award.

Social media creator + CZcams AI defining your views and income is really tough on mental health. I learned from dating a full-time CZcamsr for ~3 years, 10y ago.
It's a an excellent idea to take holidays, set boundaries like everybody else with their job.
11:45: maybe medium or soft mode would help by smoothing the torque. It works on the 16X to increase grip on bumpy climbs, and pedals still stay level enough.

Adam - you’re absolutely right - it’s not possible to do it all yourself without burning out; we do not want that.
Maybe this is the point you change your approach. Your potential market is enormous - but it’s your quality that does it.
You need systems that work for you, to take the edge off; determine what parts of the process you can outsource / delegate.
Treat it like a business. Even with additional costs - you will simply make more because people will see more Adam. Really, you’re the product - and you can delegate the packaging.

High discharge cells run cooler so less energy wasted and less degradation. It's possible that the high capacity cells age faster so that they have similar capacity with the 40T after a number of cycles.
Because the wheel THINKS it's still using high capacity cells it won't pull more current from the pack. If there's a firmware mod for high current, then you'd likely notice a difference (if the control board can handle it).

Great video! As always and as we have come to expect from you. As for the mods: the street tire is precisely what I'd want to see on the S22. As for your need for a vacation: we'll be here. I know CZcams has their algorithm and that you might get punished in the short term. But your long-term health and well being is far more important. It's really the only thing. Take care of yourself. We'll be here for you when you want to be here.
With Samsung 21700 50s'es you can get both high range and high power, but it comes at a higher cost.
Can't wait, what sort of weight savings or range future battery 🔋 tech can bring to EUCs

Hi Adam, maybe i didn t notice but it seems you don t talk about the capacity of each pack LG 40T and LG M50LT. To compare each type of battery we must know that especially for max range. Can you tell us what's the capacity of each pack? Each battery is a 2200 wh?

While I agree with using street tire, in many places an EUC is only legal "off road". So it comes with off road tires.
my s22 came with some rubber blockers for the slider rails.

Hi Adam, do you think the S22's motherboard and mosfets can handle the high discharge batteries given it wasn't designed for these particular batteries?
Batteries only supply power requested by the board. Higher discharge batteries just provide more torque. They won't be able to provide more amps than allowed the difference is the older packs were more sluggish on takeoff.
In the race quadcopter world higher discharge "C" rating just means more punch. But no need to change hardware.
Did you test hard braking with the Samsung cells? I wonder if there's some difference compared to LGs
It feels a bit more easy to brake but it beeps anyways if you brake from high speed
These bigger enduro tires cause more amp draw so your range suffers
Are the Samsung cells going to be an option on the production model? Does the motherboard need updated settings on the new cells? And i still enjoy your videos after 6000+ miles on a Sherman 4500 and S18 1200. Life on camera both sucks energy and gives you a differed kind of energy. There is also a bit of an addiction issue to camera high. People enjoy the show because of your energy investment. There are always new answers, paid video call advice on EUCs challenging hiccups….
