Inmotion V12 Vs V11y Should You Upgrade?

- Another comparison and I know is another big question that some of you guys will have in mine. If I own an Imotion V12 no matter if it is a V12HT or an Imotion V12HS should I buy the Imotion V11Y and why?
As you guys know I'm a big fan of inmotion and every electric unicycle they put out don't get me wrong there are many electric unicycles worth your money but inmotion brings to the table some of the best electric unicycles that you can buy and if you want to find parts for it continues to be in my opinion on of the best brands os EUC is you are looking to by an electric unicycle and maintaining it for a long period. We are comparing two wheels very differently the Imotion v12 doesn't have a suspension and the V11Y have one so something to have in consideration. I hope that this comparison makes sense for you guys and I will continue to cover this kind of content.

I'm so glad to see the power creep the industry was seeming to do falling off - meaning bigger and bigger wheels etc - but this 11y and it being a bit of a mid tier wheel, happy to see it being such a solid wheel

I agree about the sound wave. I wish I had it on the Lynx. I still LOVE my v12 HS. it is soo fast.

2 years ago I bought V12HT. it is still my no.1 wheel till today. I have ridden almost 200km during last 2 days :D. So far 7000km on the clock and the wheel is rock solid. Sure there is lack of suspension, but on the other hand there is no need of maintenance at all. I still have original tire with plenty of tread left. It can do 16000 km. Just tighten and change few bolts just to be safe and that's it... That thing is small fast and funny sporty tank :). V12HT is incredibly practical wheel. It is so well thought out that it just works and fit anywhere. Rear mudguard, kickstand, waterproofing, power, speed, form factor even range is great. I can do 80km on a single charge still after 7000km and 2 years.
If I should buy a new wheel today V12PRO is very nice choice in my opinion. Practical powerfull wheel with very little maintenance and Raptor controller. Sure V11Y is nice, but not that small nimble beast :).

I have a couple of questions: are the boots comfortable when sit riding?.. the front sole of the boots are flexible enough?.. how is the ankle protection? Loving my v11y, but managed to out run the wheel yesterday. Any mods we can do to the speaker to actually hear it?? Yeah i have euc world but sometimes its inconvenient for a quick ride.. Also don't try doing 42mph on the v11y 😅

It looks like the inmotion v11y is holding up so well within the community. I'm glad to see that Since it is such a good wheel to learn eveyrhing, even seated riding. : )
Never liked to ride seated on the v11 I feel that the sit is to much in front if it makes sense
I have the V12HS. I've been thinking about the V11y for a while. But you might be convincing me to stick with the V12 for now. I'd buy the V14 for fun but not for commuting since I have to bring it upstairs multiple times a day. I do like having the bluetooth speakers and the Soundwave. I didn't realize it would be missing
Only the v12 have it so yeah missing in all wheels from inmotion
Definitely love my V11Y and across the board it seems like the wheel that gets the most props. It would be awesome to see you get the V13 challenger or V14!
V13 is been refused to be sent so you have to stay tuned for the v14 and e20 and another wheel that is coming out this year :)

@ebutters7590 inmotion believes they do t need more exposure into the v13pro so not getting my hands on that wheel and on the v12pro both wheels will not reach my house unfortunately

@ebutters7590 thank you for your feedback and I will share it with Inmotion. You are not the only one requesting that but Inmotion decided that we shouldn’t focus on this one.
After going suspension I would never go back to non suspension, regardless of how good the wheel is.

Exactly. Only small slow lightweight wheels are ok without suspension.
The v12 is not so light already obviously is not a 50kg wheel
@@MADpack I would only want the v12 if the roads were perdect. Otherwise it's to dangerous at speed imho

I feel like the only thing holding v12 back from total dominance is no suspension. If only they could have given it something for suspension.
No thank you because doing it you will make the battery run faster and is a much smaller battery on the v11y hope it makes sense and the v11y for 80kg like me is more than enough

V12 pro won't have smart bms? Why do all the websites say otherwise. Do we just accept that they are all lying?
In my opinion smart BMS is not necessary for Inmotion V12. It monitors the voltage of the left and right pack. So if these voltages are the same the packs are balanced :-)
At least is what I’ve been hearing not sure since I didn’t have receive it and unfortunately inmotion informed me recently that I will not receive that one but the e20, v14 50s and another model I will receive this year
