I’m a truck driver. Listening to your podcasts is a daily regimen this whole year
I’m a ceo. Listening to this podcast all day all year is great
@@SilverScarletSpider Sure, i graduated top of my class in the Navy Seals, and I've been involved in numerous secret raids on Al-Quaeda, and I have over 300 confirmed kills, and also enjoy listening to this podcast, all day, all year
I'm a truck. Same for me.
@@MoGumbo_ I work in the International Space Station, this podcast is the only thing I listen to when I'm walking in space.
Driving trucks must be amazing.
We must praise the slower teams.
The pace difference betwen the faster and slower team is decreasing each year.
And yet you still often see comments about how the cost cap isn't working to bring the field closer together and its still just the same as it was.
Gene Haas needs to sell his F1 team. He isn't using it.
And fire Gunther
I say aston martin purely becuase mclaren expected the upgrades to significantly improve the car in Austria. Aston where not expected to be p2 and p3's in races. Mclaren only beat aston because of stroll.
Franz Tost. You will be missed
I am more than sure that between Yuki Sunoda and Daniel Ricciardo with a lot of consistency thay will be up the grid next year
I think Mercedes have stagnated and don’t look like they’re going anywhere fast; started and ended the year in pretty much the same way. This might be a lengthy lull period like RBR had between 2014-21, Benetton/Renault from 1996-2005 and Ferrari’s ongoing plight. Merc just seems rudderless in how to understand these cars.
Thanks for making the job shorter by listening to your podcasts :)
Good to know that despite getting a D here and Alpine free-falling in the championships, Bruno Famin rates his performance as better than the guys he sacked. Good Job Renault 😹
I like how u did not mention Redbull grading in this podcast 😂

I dont think you should dismiss Checo's 2 wins this year that easily. That's two more than Charles Lecelrc or George Russell, or Lulu for that matter
can you remind me how many did his teammate win again in the same car.
@karthikpenumetch9300 I'm not discounting the 105 wins Max had this season. Just saying his 2 wins was 2 more than Charles, Princess George and Lulu
Yeah, because the last 3 had a Red Bull and all... Any of them would easily beat Perez in the same car.
@soundscape26 doubtful. With Max on the other side of the garage? Lots of meltdowns happening with all 3. If you take Max out of the equation. A straight up fight, I think Checo will hold his own
@@hoverpilder1905 your absolutely dreaming mate
Mercedes gets hyped up again. Toto Wolff was worse in 2021 than he was in 2016. Mercedes was very good when the PU advantage was there. When that advantage was gone they were comparible to Red Bull.
Nice review, but I have to make a pedantic objection to the score given to Red Bull. In terms of absolute performance, yes it's undeniably an A+, they dominated the championship.
But the scores are supposed to reflect performance against expectations, not absolute performance. Red Bull were expected to dominate this year. They achieved it. They did not perform better than expected (that would be impossible, you can't finish higher than first). So the score has to be a B, expectations were met in full but not exceeded.
Mate, they were supposed to dominate, but they've completed literally the best, most dominant season ever in F1. How can that not be a A+??? 😂😂😂
@@sergioferrero46 in absolute performance it is A+. But they said their scoring system was performance compared to expectations, with A meaning the team exceeded expectations. They didn't exceed expectations, they matched them, it can only be a B
Pre season 2023 Mercedes and Ferrari were hyped up again so the expectations where not Red Bull dominating the season. Red Bull didn't even dominate but Verstappen did. He on his own won the WCC and Pérez only just held on to P2 in the WDC.
@@PenryMMJ I know, but still, RB wasn't expected to win 21 out of 22 races, Max wasn't expected to beat that many records. Technically, they exceeded expectations
You can literally not do more than dominate, so it's at the very least an A.
I know Mercedes did not have a great season and the car had a lot of problems but you talk a if they fell to a back run team they still learned alot form this season and the know most of a problems with the car
Everyone all knows its that Hamiltons 8th Title if he gets a sniff of the right car from Mercedes as he is clearly the better driver than anyone and to make matters worse hes bloody black
hoping lewis can win 1-2 championships
It's hard, he lost that rythmn last two seasons.
In witch team Lewis would stand a chance against Max in the Red Bull?
