Great video Optimus! Thanks for making some of the connections more clear with clips/panels. I think the "divergence" point is after they fully adapt the manga, revealing the existance of the second and third timelines and clarifying the scenes we have seen in the anime that have been mixed up from both timelines (alliance timeline + freedom timeline). Then it will play out the last chapters again, but this time showing us what happens in the "freedom timeline" (mikasa not putting on scarf, dying, alliance wiped except maybe armin), and the new future that connects with school casts.

I’ve been thinking that Aoe biggest weakness is that most clues come from outside the anime like the kv, music videos, interviews. I feel that from a narrative perspective it lacks more obvious divergence points like see you later eren being b&w instead of full color or stuff like that
@@ObsidianArrowYT there are soome hints, not several. For an event this big, I would have expected much more, so far we have : 1. Berserk eren 2. Black scarf mikasa/black shirt Eren 3. Muv luv similarities ( 80%, see you later, long dream) 4. Falco’s dream 5. Cour 1 dream? Not sure if this counts 6. Eren sees abandoned Paradise although this in an ending not part of the main story What else am I missing? I fear its too little
@@Visethelegend You covered the main ones, but there's so many more. Mikasa losing her shoe is a staple death flag used by isayama. Eren's mom and dad both did it. People in AoT also die with their eyes open. Which never happened to eren in the manga. Then in MY WAR the white birds falling = the scouts dying. Eren says it's his last war. How else to end the cycle except for killing the person continuing it.
Did you see the new visual? It's heavy and great for AOE!! The shadow looks like a reaper. And the red part makes it even creepier. There is also a flying bird, it could be black instead of white, but I'm not sure..
@@Visethelegend Sorry my English is bad. The video says that the sitting sleeping Eren in first cour is from the manga, but he has anime Eren clothes (with brown jacket and green t-shirt), not manga, And Optimus makes the frame black and white specially in this video, for what?
@@amstroid1 no worries my english is not perfect either haha. I honestly didn’t noticed, i thought they were purposely hiding his clothes with the framing, but you can actually see a glimpse of his brown jacket… I guess you can say is part of a mess of memories but to be honest, it may be a hint there is no aoe :(
@@Visethelegend it's the symbolism that Eren in timeline 3 saw Eren's dream in timeline 2, as we all know that in the ending Akuma Noko Eren also wore a brown jacket but had gray eyes. which is also a symbol of Eren Timeline 3 which sees abandoned paradis in the perspective of Eren Timeline 2 (then changes to the adult Eren, which means adult eren on timeline 3 is the one who remembers it not the kid eren when dreaming under the tree)
about the scarf part in the manga cover volume 33 mikasa is wearing the black scarf and all of the others are surrounding eren the anime cover how ever was mikasa without a scarf a firey eren titan and everyone is upside down :)
