Reiner, Annie and Pieck’s torment DID end thanks to Mikasa: They were freed from the Power of the Titans (thus removing the 13 year time limit on them) and their families were restored.

Ever since I saw Eren running to Zeke, I fell for this OST. And ever since then, my love for it grew more after seeing Gabi saved Kaya and Falco's first jaw transformation.
Exactly! Eren running to Zeke scene gave me chills combined with this soundtrack...
I’m here a year later in the comments chuffed they brought this theme back for the finale twice, and most importantly in that epic Ackermans charge towards Eren. W DIRECTOR! He chose correctly to place it in that scene

That's Eren Jaeger boiled down to his core. Running towards his goals against all odds, against everyone and everything, while the world falls apart around him, chasing the shadow of freedom just a few steps away. Tenacity in human form, no natural talents, no advantages, no powers beyond those who fell on his lap by mere chance, and at a great cost to his own sanity.
I understand the debate of wether AoT is or isn't the quintessential masterpiece, I do, because the plot isn't without very convenient stretches, over-convolutedness, an almost unintelligible cosmology that gets bent to the outmost limit to serve the plot's needs, and certain choices sorrounding the closure of the story that push it ever so close into unraveling the magic system and the cemented themes of the story, let alone apparent missteps of characterization in some of its narrative-driving characters, as to be virtually undistiguishable from cold, factual mistakes... but I simply don't think I will live to see another protagonist as well-crafted, hyperbolically tragic, symbolic, and justified in his choices, despicable as they might be, as Eren Jaeger. From an unlikable and horrified brat, to the world's greatest menace, with his entire psychological journey mapped out, from horror to guilt to hatred and bloodthirst, from determination to powerlessness to hope to betrayal to realization, to isolation, despair and resignation...
He might be the one protagonist to end them all.

perhaps the best ost in this season, the amount of note layer and "part" of the song which all tell a continuous story and so much different emotions, simply magnificent. followed by 2000 years ago and all of the freedoms

@@neh4797 His ideals may be bad, but he stuck to them till the very end and devoted his heart. His final rush sequence to shoot a thunder spear at the ship was beautiful too and showed how perseverant he is. I may not like him much, but I gotta respect his resilience.
Oh, and all AoT fans are generally annoying, especially after the ending came out :v

I hate how Sawano made 4 songs years ago and then proceeded to replicate them for every single one of his works ever since but he’s got popular but Yamamoto creates a unique sound - original and complex for each of his tracks (this one is amazing) but isn’t more famous

Everyone is a traitor to each other, they're basically fighting a civil war.
Attack on Titan fell off hype for a few episodes but the final 3 episodes was fire.
The build up was good stuff. It's what flavours the conflict. Not just mindless action
