On top of two Colossal Titans slugging it out, at the start when the source of all living matter summons the final army of pure titans and it’s up to the Reiner, Annie and Pieck to hold back their charge is absolutely bone- chilling. As Warriors, no road left but the one that leads to the end ✊🏼
Annie's scream perfectly sums up everything thats going.
Everyone likes to talk about Levi's part (which is very good, don't get me wrong), but my favourite shot was immediately after Annie's scream, where it shows her trying to hold the source back. The source screams too, as though in response to Annie. The perspective in that shot really shows how far things have come since the the first season. In season one, the Female Titan's size and sense of mystique set her up to be the intimidating villain of that season. In this last episode, that one shot completely reverses that by making Annie the small and desperate one. It's a brilliant use of perspective.

I cried hearing Annie screams in despair as she tries to stop the source. She was very happy to see her father for a minute then he became a titan

The irony is so crazy…these two friends end up fighting each other while in the form of the very monster that destroyed their home and started them down this path😢
I nearly fell out of my seat here, everyone was starting to relax after the rumbling was stopped and then from 100 to 0 and to 100 again. Reiner fighting with every last breath he has, Pieck and Annie completely breaking down trying to hold back that thing while having to look at all their loved ones being turned into mindless titans. All the while Mikasa on Falco's back, having to come to the realization that she has to kill Eren personally after all, on the verge of emotionally breaking. Such a fast paced but gripping sequence of events. Beautifully done Mappa. Reiner's line of "When will our torment end?" truly captured all emotions from every member of our heroes there.
Traitor to humanity VS traitor to paradise
This is the first and only time two colossal shifters throw hands. My god I need more now. I thought normal Titan CQC was hot. Then THIS. YOU FEEL EVERY DAMN HIT. But they just shrug it off and go in for another, it’s like watching to immovable objects just go crazy. It’s so. Amazing.
Yeah it's so much more about momentum, as one would expect since they are so large and can't just stop on a whim. Just a slugfest of who can hit faster and harder.
Mikasa knew how Eren is in the mouth because of two logical reasons/possibilities:
1. Armin blew the neck but Eren didn't died so, he wasn't in the neck and the most safest place is definitely the upper body(the head area)
2. She was having many visions so, maybe they gave her clues.
Trying to remember the Manga but I think he told her before he "died" in the alternate path
I guess he told her. She have speaked with every member of his teammates like armin's one
As an ackerman, Ymir's blood conscience they always find there lover. Mikasa used it to find Eren.
interesting it was in the mouth of his titan, as eren himself in S1 that he'd never die in the mouth of a titan
Also Eren was decapitated, so his body is probably still in the nape but his head was blown far enough away that it would be in the mouth of the titan

Hey guys, i just finished season 1 and found this, cant belive eren gets even bigger and finally gets to square off with the evil colossal titan after it destroyed his town like that! Did he beat the other henchman bad guy titans like the armored titan yet? I bet he did because hes such a determined and good guy.

The theory is confirmed:
Eren has been alive for hundreds of years, the first timeline where they tried to run away but it ended badly.
Eren has tried many time to find another way in across multiple timelines but all in vain that's why his head is messed up. He tried so many times to achieve the outcome Ymir wants but failed this was the only way.
He tried to find a way to live with Mikasa and Armin but failed each time.
That's why his head has gotten messy.
Eren is just as great as Guts,Thorfinn because he suffered so much for his friends. His mind got fu** up because of how many times he tried for a different outcome but failed.
Eren was holding his feelings in heart alone, he died/failed several times that's why he got desperate and shared it with Armin.The reason he exaggerated(10 years with Mikasa) was because he finally got to lift off the burden of his emotions and pain. It's psychology, whenever you finally take out all yoyr brass inside you get carried away.
Right idea but you're off. He was not alive for 100s of years, but as he said both manga and movie, he lives in all the timelines at once. Think of Dr strange in endgame telling Tony that he saw 100s of futures. That same concept with eren where he desperately looked thru it all at once but saw no good ending at all
So he chose the most chaotic one that evened out the playing field while ending ymir's curse.
Ps. He could only see 4 years ahead bc that's when he dies naturally
