I also noticed something else from your video. Mikasa from the manga has a black scarf and the anime one has a red one. In the memory flash back, her scarf was black in anime Eren's memory.

There's also the fact that the 138 see you later panel is put as the background in the prologue section of the official SnK website. 2. You know that MAPPA AoT interview? They mention how Isayama is very involved with part 2, and that he checks all the storyboards and gives them huge sheets of things to change or fix. In the original MAPPA storyboards, which you can search up, you'll see that Eren had the surprised facial expression when he entered paths. Isayama told them to change it. This interview is where we see that the paths entrance sequence is called the flashback scene. You can search it up on youtube. 3. For people who think the manga Mikasa thing is an artistic choice: In the first season 4 trailer, MAPPA made Mikasa's scarf black in order to stay true to the manga's official colors. Isayama obviously told them to make it red to maintain fluidity with past seasons, except for the paths scene. Why would Isayama make the scene one to one with the manga and make Mikasa's scarf black? 4. Any time you see black, hooded jacket kid Eren, it's a manga memory. Many people think that MAPPA just made Eren's jacket to be like WIT in old scenes and then switched to the black and hooded jacket for new scenes. But if you re-watch S4P2, you'll see that they have no problem turning new manga panels into WIT Eren. MAPPA is not inconsistent because it's Isayama who approves everything.
I don't understand the Falco memory. Why does Eren see Falco? He was "sleeping" during the rumbling right? Like in 131. Plus, I don't understand why the fact that he sees Falco in the anime should lead to AOE. Could not just be a future memory? Thanks.

There are 2 reasons why the anime only addition of Falco flying to Fort Salta is not a future memory. Literally every memory in that scene is a past memory. It makes no sense that Isayama would include this in the anime in a scene of flashbacks. And the while scene is called "The Flashback Scene" at MAPPA. EDIT: Eren seeing Falco's jaw titan doesn't exactly mean AOE. It's the fact that he has manga memories, meaning he has knowledge of how he failed in the manga. How did Eren see the destruction of Paradis? If you look at chapter 130, you'll see that Eren has a POV memory shard of Falco at Fort Slava. This POV is the bird's, the one that was circling around Falco. So we know Eren can see through birds. Now go to 131/139 and examine the odd focus and movement of the bird before Eren starts the paths convo and afterward. It is very clear that Eren has the power to control birds. It seems he does this when doing paths manipulation stuff, as Falco now has anime only memories of Eren's life as a scout. This is how a bird wrapped the scarf around Mikasa. Eren became the new founder in paths, and that's how he saw he destruction of Paradis. This is why Eren's facial expression is way different when he's talking about "that scenery." He realizes that the only way to save Paradis is to kill his friends.

I can't be wrong about the timelines things because in the very same chapter 138, Pieck mentions that Ackermans are immune to the power of the titans. This shows that Isayama is absolutely aware of the canon he wrote before, and we still got Mikasa having false memories? Kenny's father in chapter 65 mentioned that there were a few bloodlines unaffected by the king's power to alter or erase memories, including the Asians and the Ackerman family. So Mikasa saying "you remember now too, don't you?" to Armin was another hint Isayama gave to us that Mikasa's situation was not Eren using the FT's power, as her memory could not have been erased.

It doesn't make sense to me, because in 138 it's clearly a different reality, so why would she say this to Armin? It's incredible because as you noted Isayama make us note that he's still aware of the Ackerman's resistance to the founder, and ch 138 is called "A long dream", and all characters who say that they had a long dream at the end realized that was a memory, not a dream. Plus: what was the memory of Mikasa's short hair in ch 1 if not a timeline memory? How the mainstream reader did explain this? A retcon?
From one side I don't think that bullying isayama for the ending was the right choice but from the other it wil be so groundbreaking to have an anime original ending to the point where I'd love to to see it

Personally, I just think WIT Studio adapted it differently. When the first episode released, there were only around 37 of the current 139 chapters released, WIT doesn't plan that far ahead, we can see that because they cut out the hidden tattoo Mikasa had which was revealed to be important later in the manga. If you notice, MAPPA adapts the anime heavily following the manga
I honestly think not showing See you later was a mistake that Isayama is taking advantage of now that he plans for the Aoe, hence the mistake on Mikasa’s tatoo as well

I want to add some detail about eren in "see you later" timelines. In eren speech to all eldian, eren say the world will kill all subject of ymir , not just people of island but until all subject of ymir have been eliminated. How eren so sure that happen. what if in "see you later" timelines, after paradise island destroy, they target is subject of ymir outside the island. That why eren dan mikasa live in forest not in town/city, far away from people to hide their identity as subject of ymir.
kinda hard to believe in some points… at the time, when WIT talked about the first saison, they regretted it, because they did it without following details to details the manga, for exemple, the images we see in the first flashback of eren (the toys and all those things) means absolutely nothing. and it goes for all the rest, like the pose of mikasa turing back with the flies etc.. i know it sucks lol

No it isn't. Go watch what he said instead of the tweet. You seem to misunderstand AOE. It has nothing to do with how the manga ending was received. It's been Isayama's intention for a long time. Isayama made it clear at the panel that he wanted the manga ending to be good and that Yuki Kaji's performance made Isayama try to portray Eren as a good guy, but he failed to land it. That's all it is. There is no reason to say AOE is dead. Also, a ton of us asked AOE related questions to Isayama and none of them got answered because he's not trying to spoil AOE. I think it's gonna be something in the middle. Not a completely original ending, but also, not exactly the same ending we've got in the manga. I think we're gonna get an ending SIMILAR to that in the manga, but enhanced, expanded, maybe with different turns of events here and there, with different dialogue in some parts etc. But I think Eren is still going to die for his friends. Yeah Eren died peacefully at the end of the manga. Mikasa was smiling and Eren was also in my opinion or at least calm about it which matches his conversation with Armin.

you forgot to mention about the black scarf of manga mikasa the way carla was eaten by the smiling titan, in the manga she is thown to the titan's mouth, while in the anime she was twisted and then bited, but not thrown.
I want to add some detail about eren in "see you later" timelines. In eren speech to all eldian, eren say the world will kill all subject of ymir , not just people of island but until all subject of ymir have been eliminated. How eren so sure that happen. what if in "see you later" timelines, after paradise island destroy, they target is subject of ymir outside the island. That why eren dan mikasa live in forest not in town/city, far away from people to hide their identity as subject of ymir.
all of this are just for nothing if AOE isnt happening, so it has to happen..
kinda hard to believe in some points… at the time, when WIT talked about the first saison, they regretted it, because they did it without following details to details the manga, for exemple, the images we see in the first flashback of eren (the toys and all those things) means absolutely nothing. and it goes for all the rest, like the pose of mikasa turing back with the flies etc.. i know it sucks lol

Kinda odd to me that a lot of the AOE fans I see are kinda explicitly in favour of Eren committing mass genocide, like, to the point where they argue for it.

No it isn't. Go watch what he said instead of the tweet. You seem to misunderstand AOE. It has nothing to do with how the manga ending was received. It's been Isayama's intention for a long time. Isayama made it clear at the panel that he wanted the manga ending to be good and that Yuki Kaji's performance made Isayama try to portray Eren as a good guy, but he failed to land it. That's all it is. There is no reason to say AOE is dead. Also, a ton of us asked AOE related questions to Isayama and none of them got answered because he's not trying to spoil AOE. Though we purposely made our questions indirect (some idiots asked directly about AOE) he still didn't answer. 100% proof that Isayama is planning something when he could have deconfirmed AOE to the idiots who directly asked him about it. Oh, and when I say "we" I mean the AnRime subreddit.

I think it's gonna be something in the middle. Not a completely original ending, but also, not exactly the same ending we've got in the manga. I think we're gonna get an ending SIMILAR to that in the manga, but enhanced, expanded, maybe with different turns of events here and there, with different dialogue in some parts etc. But I think Eren is still going to die for his friends. This is who Eren is.

Yeah Eren died peacefully at the end of the manga. Mikasa was smiling and Eren was also in my opinion or at least calm about it which matches his conversation with Armin.

She didn't want to move on from eren even when he destroyed the world, this is just so unhealthy and illogical
