Honestly these problems don’t seem too bad. Are there any common problems that are more catastrophic or expensive to fix?

It’s very telling If valve cover and trans pan replacement are known/common issues on a model where all the cars are less than 6 years old.

So it might* leak some and have some minor issues... While being capable of making 600hp in a daily? I'll accept that. Trans needs to be serviced anyways by 60k I suppose. Water pump is super annoying because what the hell BMW. How many years of this. Otherwise these things are stout!

I have a 2019 X3 30i. It has 50k miles on it. I’ve already had to replace the battery, fix cracked windshield washer fluid tank, replace the starter, replace the water pump, and fix a coolant leak. I’m thinking about getting rid of it and swapping to something more reliable. However, purchasing something new will still cost more than maintenance.
For the blower motor, how do you know if that might be going out? I hear a squeaky noise when the AC is blowing, typically is worse after a rain or the car is washed. When I turn the AC off, I don’t hear it. I live in south Florida. Maybe an indicator is it going out soon?

+@trevorhumphrey3039 We wouldn't be able to diagnose an issue like that here, you may want to have a local mechanic take a look at it. Thanks for checking us out! 1aau.to/m/Shop-1AAuto-c

These people have no clue what they are talking about this generation of x3, all the issues listed here are on the previous generation x3. with older generation of engine, the n55, this x3 is fitted either with a b58 or b30. these engine are relatively new, only been atound in north america since 2016 but have been prooving them selves as really reliable. Until recently, 24 years on the the product with bmw .
