Caramba, quando vi o nome pensei "esse puto é brasileiro", aí logo depois vi teu irmão e pensei "carái, são os cara da Alura!!". Realmente não esperava. Eu assisti boa parte do Fool Us e não lembro de nenhum outro brasileiro que tenha ido lá, vc foi o primeiro? Aliás, na Alura eu aprendo esse truque? Se sim, vou lá me matricular agora!

Not only did I not understand how it was done, but didn't understand P&T's feedback. To a non-magician it sounded like Penn was saying "you didn't fool us because we know you actually used supernatural powers," LOL. Anyway, great trick, great presentation & story for the trick, and great opaque explanation from P&T.

My question is … how could you be sure penn didn’t have a certain email option disabled to prevent spammers and mailing lists from tracking him.
When they do tricks that involve emailing or, like previous tricks, texting Penn or Teller, the producers get their permission and then give the contestants the go-ahead.
I assume they use a text app for a spoof number/secondary email, just to be on the safe side, unless it’s someone they know about through mutual trusted friends or who have been on the show previously.
My guess, he communicated with Penn using email to tell him to bring the phone on stage. Thus being able to confirm that it would work.

This is a great trick, I think from Penn's code I understand it about 50%, but I don't really get part of his feedback. Really entertaining.
So Penn and Teller gives all the magicians the videos to upload from their channel? That's cool. For the magic trick, it would work if P&T wasn't that tech savvy people.
Great trick! I think I know how it's done, with two different methods to complete it, but I didn't really understand Penn's code :(. In particular the past into the future into the past into the future part

I think I'm more amazed by Penn's code to Guilherme to not reveal how he did the trick. Because I listened to it twice, and I didn't catch any code words. The hell is going on? That was a pretty clever magic trick, honestly. Very simple, and to me, amazing. But Penn's explanation confused me even more...

Clever and I'm amused by your audacity to try to pull it off. It must have taken a few tries to get it to look just right when practicing, the future isn't easy to picture seamlessly. ;)

Very nice trick. A hint for those who still don't know, he had an assistant with a computer...
And no, this assistant didn't hack Penn's email, and the email was genuine and so were the choices.

The only thing I can think of is that he was able to delete the email sent before the show and switch it with the correct result email after the choices were made but I don't know how to do that. That is, if Penn had opened the email before the trick was done, it wouldn't have said that.

Time travel is real, only thing we all travel forward at same speed.
That was exactly Penn's point.
Penn has said before, that if a trick only has one way that it could possibly be done, that’s the way it was done and it’s not that good if a trick. The only way this is possible is that an assistant back stage sends the email right before penn looks at his phone. Then, once Penn puts it away, the assistant retracts the email and sends a new one after all selections have been made. I believe it is possible to retract an email within 15 seconds of sending it. So, it has to be retracted pretty quickly after it being sent. This is the only way I think this can be done

Yes, there are a few effects on fool us who use the internet (even remote ones last year!), so it is ok to use the internet.

This trick only works for the few people who trust the header information on an email...
If Pen had clicked on the email before the predictions the trick would not work, because of Gmail image cache. This was close call :)
