We can always guess and there are many ways to do it. Thats definitely one way :)
If Pen had clicked on the email before the predictions the trick would not work, because of Gmail image cache. This was close call :)

Yes, there are a few effects on fool us who use the internet (even remote ones last year!), so it is ok to use the internet.
I'm not sure how it was done but I know a way how it can be done ... but Penn's code made no sense to me so I'm still in the dark

Penn has said before, that if a trick only has one way that it could possibly be done, that’s the way it was done and it’s not that good if a trick. The only way this is possible is that an assistant back stage sends the email right before penn looks at his phone. Then, once Penn puts it away, the assistant retracts the email and sends a new one after all selections have been made. I believe it is possible to retract an email within 15 seconds of sending it. So, it has to be retracted pretty quickly after it being sent. This is the only way I think this can be done

It's 720 possibilities not 26 on the dice
It's 25 actually, the outcome for the trick was not identifiying what each side of the dice would be, just what the total is. So the total of 5 dice will aways be between 5 - 30 = 25 different outcomes.
With five dice, you can roll between 5 and 30 if you add up the totals. That's 26 possibilities. (E.g. if you roll 4 1s and one 2, the total is still six irrespective of which die turned to 2.)
So you pretty much just have to combine with the "volunteer" first how many slices you're going to use for each one of these fruits and then memorize the numbers?
Fool Us doesn't allow stooges, so the volunteer was making unplanned choices. Penn gives a big hint in his discussion.

When you send mail with the same subject gmail make it conversation (Thread) and when you open it the most recent mail will open. As you can see the 5:00

So Penn and Teller gives all the magicians the videos to upload from their channel? That's cool. For the magic trick, it would work if P&T wasn't that tech savvy people.
Of course this was a time-turner. Pretty obvious. And I'm still waiting for my letter.
Spoiler... The truth is you cannot edit an email once it has been sent. Some email clients, such as Outlook and Gmail, have the feature but there is a caveat. Outlook, for example, only works within the same Outlook Exchange system.
Great trick ruined by a fake thumbnail was looking forward to him aging in front of them while they were looking at the items he pulled out. Smh 1 for the thumbnail 0 for the human.

This is a great trick, I think from Penn's code I understand it about 50%, but I don't really get part of his feedback. Really entertaining.

My question is … how could you be sure penn didn’t have a certain email option disabled to prevent spammers and mailing lists from tracking him.
When they do tricks that involve emailing or, like previous tricks, texting Penn or Teller, the producers get their permission and then give the contestants the go-ahead. I assume they use a text app for a spoof number/secondary email, just to be on the safe side, unless it’s someone they know about through mutual trusted friends or who have been on the show previously.
My guess, he communicated with Penn using email to tell him to bring the phone on stage. Thus being able to confirm that it would work.
