Penn & Teller Fool Us - Hans Petter Secker - FOOLER Rock Paper Magic - S8EP7 Magician Hans Petter Secker from Norway completely fools Penn & Teller in Fool Us Season 8 Episode 7
I love the fact that, "Just send the Trophy" was indeed a multiple outcome trick. Just as described by Penn before. But not relevant to the fooling part.
I love these kinds of tricks. It’s not about being flashy and over the top. It’s straight forward, elegant, just pure classic magic. Not to mention a really likeable magician and an adorable baby.
I’m completely hopeless with spotting how most magic tricks are done, but even I can see what’s odd about the way the switches were performed. The whole presentation was fantastic, and congratulations on fooling them!
Do I understand this correctly that their guess of multiple outs is technically wrong because the trick has technically one out? :-D (although many ways to reach that out)
I love this. Simple and original. Or at least the kind of trick I didn't see before. And not being in the studio doesn't hurt the trick, but actually adds to it.
I'm not sure if I love or hate this trick, so I asked the opinions of my friends. Bob said he would just support whatever I said about it, if I liked it or not. Andrew is more argumentative, and I knew he would just say the opposite of whatever I said. I knew that if I said I liked it, we would just end up with two of us liking the trick, and one not. So I told Bob the opposite of what I thought, just so he wouldn't simply be agreeing with me. Then I told Andrew the opposite of what I thought, so that he would agree with me, but not realise! But somehow the truth was that we still ended up with two of us liking the trick, and one not!! So the question is Hans - did I like it? ;)
Such a creative way to be on the show during a pandemic and still make it work. I’ve been impressed by a lot of the socially distanced acts and how creative they’ve been in overcoming such an unusual circumstance for an interactive magic show.
A truly beautiful trick, and absolutely dumbfounding. I noticed that you didn't write down the prediction for the third switch, and was a bit concerned this this was a giveaway, and I suspect most viewers would be thinking the same - so to reveal it as you did just lifted it to another level. And, for a bonus, your humor - both off-the-cuff and planned - was delightful!
This is an amazing routine all throughout. Nothing flashy, nothing crazy, just beautiful throughout the number of times I’ve watched it (tried to count it). I can see how Penn and Teller’s thought process led up to the multiple outs answer, but having a different idea as to how the trick is done, it doesn’t change how amazing the trick is. Hope you keep this in your rotation of tricks and keep on doing great!
For a more dramatic reveal, he should've shown the rest of the pages were blank to proof there's no multiple outcomes possible until the last page saying 'just send trophy' 😂 What an excellent act though 👏
You did absolutely brilliantly!! This is so well thought out, what an amazing trick 😊 I am extremely glad you fooled them, you really deserve that! And plus, the props were awesome too. Great job! 😊👏👏
This one is easy, the sisors had a magnet and the rock had a little Bird inside, which it was trained to go in the direction the magician wanted. That is how he knew
Very cool. I liked this a lot. I had no idea there would be writing on the paper but I was picturing myself opening the paper as soon as it came out of the box and I didn't understand why they left it crumpled. It just seemed like the thing to do. So somehow you predicted none of them would do that which is fascinating. 😎
I've never seen someone fool penn and teller from so far away before, especially with such and odd routine. Even some really good magicians can't do it! Although, I may have to use this trick next time I go out to a bar, maybe I can find my own love the same way you did!
"Magicians are notorious liars." - Penn I think you made Penn forget his one fundamental rule of magic here and got him to trust you, not just fool him, because he believed every word out of your mouth. Getting them to trust you is harder even than fooling them. Penn should have remembered every magician is lying, lying, lying. :)
Nice trick. I figured out how it works, but I won't spoil it for people that don't want to know. I am surprised Penn and Teller didn't find out, I guess they are used to think about magic and tricks, when in reality he did exactly what he said
I know exactly what you did there, but I'm not telling that - I'm just going to say that you didn't fool me. ;) Great act and play around the simplest rules possible.
Nice trick, rather deceptive for what it is. Now, in just a month it'll be Christmas though, and there's a decision to be made made about what kind of tree to put up. We have a plastic one in storage ready to go though, with all the branches bunched up and tied together. Seems it'll likely be that one.
Wow, just wow. I have to say on my second viewing I realised how it is done, but it just makes it even more beautiful. It was indeed a genuine prediction. Thanks!
What. A. Conclusion. Well played, sir. An incredible performance. I was with Penn on that one...I figured just whatever happened, you'd have instead said, "OK, now look in the box!" for some big reveal. Or, if you wrote the right thing somehow, then you'd just reveal that. Etc., etc. I have no idea how you conceivably did it otherwise. Just brilliant--beyond brilliant.
One day we will talk about how much value Alison brings to this show. So refreshing
😔 I believe that time has come.
A fun trick - but it kind of blows my mind that P&T were fooled by the old 'illusion of choice' trick.

Thank you very much :-)

Wow. It must be the first trick where the magician fooled P&T but couldn't fool me. Kudos to the magician for fooling them.
The beauty in something like this is the simplicity and the boldness to take an age old bar bet principle to fool Penn, Teller and Allison... GREAT!
I love this. Simple and original. Or at least the kind of trick I didn't see before. And not being in the studio doesn't hurt the trick, but actually adds to it.
Classic group theory, nicely done

Its amazing the number 3! Isn't it? Great performance.. fun for all ages!

The principle is very simple but what amazes me with this and a lot of magicians is the creativity to come up with the trick Idea.

“Multiply by the number of girlfriends you had“ Ah, I guess no one has the phone number zero, that makes sense.
It doesn't surprise me that the type of guy to come up with this trick has a rubik's cube and some poker chips on his table :)
I knew how you did the first prediction and thought I had already figured out the entire trick. Then you did the next two and I was baffled.
Let's be honest the phone number but in the intro is more smooth then any of us have ever dreamed of being
That’s maybe the best most genuine moment I’ve ever seen on this wonderful show!! Crying with joy and accomplishment… the best magic there is!!
Simply wonderful trick. Hats off for coming up with such a beautiful trick. Keep creating this kind of tricks. All the very best.
Simply great act. Heartwarming reaction at the end, loved it, you deserve it!
I don't think you fooled me here as a spectator but I think you'd have got the best of me if I was involved.
Awesome performance and what a ballsy finale - congrats! Loved every minute of it!
Very nice. I had to go back and watch it again to figure it out.
Very bold of you to try this trick, the fact that you got them is even better.
Nice way to bring the trick to the stage. Good job.

Wow!! I just loved how simple yet utterly mindbogglingly mystyfying this effect is!!! My appreciation to you for coming up with it... 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
For a more dramatic reveal, he should've shown the rest of the pages were blank to proof there's no multiple outcomes possible until the last page saying 'just send trophy' 😂 What an excellent act though 👏
I mean there are two outs, but not in the way Penn described so fair game imho
You did absolutely brilliantly!! This is so well thought out, what an amazing trick 😊 I am extremely glad you fooled them, you really deserve that! And plus, the props were awesome too. Great job! 😊👏👏
Send me the trophy!! Genius! I love the confidence, and I’ve never seen a trick like this! Great job!
Hans is a really humble guy. Lovely. Blessings and Godspeed.
This is exactly the kind of magic I want to learn. Loved it every bit!!
Love the flex at the end!!! Send the trophy!!
Am i the only one more interested about the phone number tricks in the intro? :-(
I have only done that trick once, and that´s how I got my girlfriend :-)
Perfect performance. Love it
This one is easy, the sisors had a magnet and the rock had a little Bird inside, which it was trained to go in the direction the magician wanted. That is how he knew
You nailed it 😂
That was a lot of fun. Top job mate.
very nice trick. no cheap gimmicks. really wonderful. and fun to figure out. i love these kind of tricks that require no trickery.
Excellent performance.
I like the story of how he got this lady to go out with him and subsequently became his wife..that is genuinely heart warming! Nice one mate!!
This show is so dope, the magicians are all so unique
This guy is a genius. Like literally a savage. Respect and thank you for this great act.
That last prediction with the trophy is just pure art
What an amazing act, I actually laughed when you turned over to ask for the trophy. I really wish I could see this act live. Great job!
I like that ending with the paper. Lol just send the trophy. Lettin them know lol
It's day 31 and I am still looking for the pieces of my mind that was blown by this act.
Thank you so much! :-)
I love how your norwegian accent for real came through in the end, when you were off script. It is such a lovely accent
Superb!!! Congratulations... such a wonderful act.... "just send the trophy "... haha.. you absolutely deserved the trophy
Thanks 😅
That was a "Hummer" of a trick. I am not surprised it fooled them as this principle is only known by a few people. Great adaptation of it. Well done!
Genialt. Helt genialt! Jag ska göra det här tricket för min familj någon gång!
I know you're scrolling the comments to finds out how he did it
Brilliant, this is the best fool them yet. Absolute genius to fool them like that. Ha ha ha ha. Well done.
Great trick!!! And fun to watch!!!
Glad you enjoyed it!
I love the act. Not insanely big or elaborate, just some simple principles and props to lead to a fun ending
så utrolig bra! gratulerer!!
Takk :-)

You set a new standard for mentalism in this show. Well done.
They say magic is all about misdirection and that could not be more true for this trick. Well done hiding a force when nobody expected it!
I've never seen someone fool penn and teller from so far away before, especially with such and odd routine. Even some really good magicians can't do it! Although, I may have to use this trick next time I go out to a bar, maybe I can find my own love the same way you did!
How on earth did he do that calculator trick???
"Magicians are notorious liars." - Penn
I think you made Penn forget his one fundamental rule of magic here and got him to trust you, not just fool him, because he believed every word out of your mouth. Getting them to trust you is harder even than fooling them. Penn should have remembered every magician is lying, lying, lying. :)
That was excellent great trick mate happy for you and your family for the trophy U have earned
Absolutely amazing 👏
Nice trick. I figured out how it works, but I won't spoil it for people that don't want to know. I am surprised Penn and Teller didn't find out, I guess they are used to think about magic and tricks, when in reality he did exactly what he said
3468 is quite an interesting number in the context of the intro sequence.
I love the phone number trick, and the Rock, Paper, Scissors trick is amazing.
I'm much more interested in the phone number trick. did he just have his phone set up so he could trigger a ring himself?
That is so incredibly cool!
Takk for det Morten! :-)
Very nice. I had to watch it a few times. There is only one out, but different ways to get there.
I know exactly what you did there, but I'm not telling that - I'm just going to say that you didn't fool me. ;)
Great act and play around the simplest rules possible.
Did not fool me. But man is this a mind bender. Very nicely done.
Very simple truck with great visual.
Its very diplomatic of them to go ahead and give it.
I love the rock prop. Great work whoever made it.
This is the tic-tac-toe of magic tricks.
I was blown away by the beauty of the concept. I love how simple and efficient it is. Very well done!
The props and the thumbnail are so funny 😁
We need to know how to do the intro trick pls, great performance!!
Fantastic routine, and albeit wrong it was a solid guess on the solution as well.
Wow! This is super clever!! I had to rewatch it once to figure it out. Congrats!
Thanks! :-)
Since everyone else seems to have the "wow that magic was incredible" down, I just wanna say your baby is freaking adorable
Thank you! He is really the cutest kid in the world
Don't know how you did it. Awsome trick Hans, you deserve the trophy💯
Awesome...Amazing 👍😊
spectacular! 👏
Thanks a lot!
Nice trick, rather deceptive for what it is.

VERY NICE! Thanks!
It certainly *looked* like a self-running trick... wow really good! ... and ooo what an arrogant ending!!
Wow soo good and clean magic!~~~
Seems really cool!
Writing and talkinf and the written text looks like done with an huge effort and nicely 😆
Wow, just wow. I have to say on my second viewing I realised how it is done, but it just makes it even more beautiful. It was indeed a genuine prediction. Thanks!
Too good trick bro. Keep it up.✌️✌️
Thanks! :-)
Cool! I have no idea how it was done but enjoyed it!
Brilliant!
Nice Logic 😂🤣😂🤣👏👏

Wow! Dette var latterlig bra. Gratulerer! 👏👏👏

You are awesome.
