Probably the smallest 4090 thus far. Can't believe you could fit everything in that case.

3:47 in my experience with the 5800X (non 3d) it's not the cores that pull the most wattage. The cores barely sip power, zen is an amazingly efficient design. The I/O die was the one that was eating up wattage, up to 26W.
I had to downvolt the I/O die aka SoC to 0.960V so that it'll only take in ~10W and saw the biggest reduction in temperature than just downvolting the cores.
Is there any impact to transfer speed like USB?
@@budiisnadi not noticeable.
OMFG I thought i was the only one who had to do this.
@@budiisnadi I haven't tested the capabilities of the USB ports at full speed. But everything else like 3600Mhz cl18 RAM works fine
what was the default soc voltage? i couldnt make my IF clock work at 2000mhz 1:1 without errors so i was playing with the SoC voltage, didnt work
For anyone else replicating this build - the Alpenfohn Black Ridge cooler has very limited clearance for your ram to fit under. If you are looking for RAM that will be compatible (since it's not mentioned in the description), Corsair Vengeance LPX is "short enough" to fit.
Best of luck in your builds

For anyone asking about the table mount, it's in his setup tour, it's the VIVO PC Desk Mount
I love how clean this is. I'm looking forward to the water cooling results. This looks like my next workstation!
Definitely my favorite build on the internet specially when u mounted it under the desk it made it much more special to me
Impressive build. Minimal and aesthetic. Absolute beast. And yeah, I guess the pc is cool too. 😂
This guy gets my current tech vibe. Aesthetics & specific usage over general purpose nice to haves to an extent
Eagerly looking forward to the dual rad custom loop in the T1 video!
Happy holidays!
lmao dual 80mm rad you mean
@@cat-.- nah it's 120mm at the top and 280 on the side of gpu or the side of the cpu, you manage it by moving psu to top alongside the 120mm
You got me here! I was looking for some portable solution to carry with me while travelling by the plane (hand luggage) and this looks perfect. Paired with 2 20 inch displays I can carry my setup for streaming, gaming and editing whenever I go. I use 3080ti laptop now and its performance can never be close to proper desktops.
Will be looking for some compact PC builds, probably aircooled only, since watercooling might be an issue when you try to take it to the hand luggage on the plane.
Thanks for posting this, it seems I will finally be able to close my case once the moddiy 12vhpwr cable arrives
Incredibly well done, Ali !
Happy holiday to you and everyone too !
Can't wait to see the full custom loop.
Thanks for including the deep dive into how editing is effected. Didnt understand what they meant until now.
Love the Aestethic and build! The pc is alright too!
I actually went through 2 different 5600x CPUs, the first one ran really hot and couldn’t handle any PBO undervolting at all without crashing. I got another one and it undervolts extremely well. There’s a lot of variability in chip quality
Literally same. I couldn't overclock tho, so I had to turn off core performance boost for stability.
That's just the silicon lottery, same thing with modern Intel CPUs as well (speaking from experience here).
I recently thought about switching my NR200P to the Fractal Ridge, but I couldn't keep my eyes off the T1. I want to switch to it eventually when I have the spare cash.
Happy new year Ali!!! Thanks for the videos! I hope you and your loved ones stay happy and healthy!!!
Exactly the content I need! Keep them coming!!!
Looks great too, ofc!
Came for the muscles, stayed for the tech. Thank you, sir.
😏
Its ok to say you stayed for both :3
And there it is. I've been waiting for this. Looking forward to the watercooled version!
you have my exact mindset when it comes to setups
attention to detail, obsession with comparisons
love it
I would absolutely love this build, big fan of compact designs and one this powerful would be amazing
i wish i found this channel before doing my build
pretty insane how compact things can get, though the flexibility of upgrading in the future kinda suffers
It makes it very difficult to upgrade.
Got the same config apart from the gpu, went 7900 xt coz it was $1k AUD cheaper than 4080 at the time
Thanks for this video. Me too I’m limiting refresh rate of my neo G9 paired with an RTX 4080 FE at 120 Hz in order to enter full passive mode…it was the same on my RTX 3090 FE!
I love that you give the t30s air-time. Those fans are game changers
I currently use bequiet fans. Absolutely happy with those things and they do precisely what they say on the tin....be quiet. I just like to look at alternatives/competition. Can you elaborate on your experience with the T30s?
I've literally seen people on twitter complaing about how big 4090 is and how much does it take in your pc case and u just slaaped that bad boy in to the tiniest case possible. Good job
Happy Holidays
Happy New Year 2023
Insane video on last day of 2022. I always love to see mini PC with flagship components.
Now i got my favorite video. Thanks bro for making my last day of 2022 this good with this small PC. Love from India. Happy new year in advance
Excellent info. Thanks for sharing. It answers several questions many of us were curious to know.
Consider limiting the 4090 to 320-350W. You get 95-97% of the 450W performance at much less heat and noise.
Why do people insist on telling him what to do when hes the one who made undervolting massively popular? Don't be this guy, He's clueless.
Maybe...
@@ashflame6888 also literally the person who made the power limiting video in the first place
@@bananya6020 bro why both of u complaining just acept he would have done multiple test undervolding overclocking and alot more to see the best result lol
@@xel... i meant that optimum tech was the one who made the video saying it wasn't worth undervolting lol
Also, highly recommend looking into min maxing your ssd and memory latency and frequency for editing. You are probably waiting for memory read/write for the scrubbing delay.
How do u do that?
Always special seeing Optimum upload, happy New Year’s everyone
Awesome video, inspiring as always. Happy New Year everyone! 🥂
Hey Ali, awesome video. I'm probably going to follow the same build. Any reason you preferred going for T1 case instead of Dan A4 H2O. I remember you saying that the Dan case was one of your favourites and offer better temperatures.
Probably size related. Dan A4 is 1L larger.
In terms of stabilizing footage, I don't know if this can work for you, but on Premiere I usually drag all my clips I want to stabilize on one timeline example number 3. Then as soon as I am done editing with the entire video I select all the clips I want stabilized and I do it all at once. Save time from having to do it while you edit, as it really slowed down my momentum
sometimes the footage can be jelly so it doesn't work well with me
In my opinnion your vids are the best. The production values and the quality of even the b roll is amazing. Plz keep making review videoes, bc they are the best:)
Great choice. Really wish that GPUs hadn't become so huge though! Cases like the ghost really made it feel wrong to mount under the desk!
Great and nicely balanced build.
and the pc is nice too.

Bro please make videos of you hitting the gym we all see the 4090 sized muscles.
Thanks for the refresh rate pro tip! Was driving me crazy trying to figure out why my 4090 wouldn't go into zero RPM.
Crazy choice. My 5800x3d is happy for you choosing it brother as your new main.
Im amazed the 4090 even fits in there. Pretty crazy. Nice build. Im into Emulation so I would personally probably went to the 12700K or 12900K just undervolted and power limit it. Great build tho
what's the benefit of undervolting?
@@northernhemisphere4906 better temps(cooler and more silent) at usually a 3-5% performance loss which is pretty negligible
@@Carlos-qu1rd oh yeah that's really not that much. maybe for the long run then.
Out of curiosity, did you get the GPU sampled or did you order it yourself from overseas somewhere? If so, from where? Asking because we don’t get them (the Founders) at any retailer in Australia.
Awesome PC to start the new year. Happy Holidays!

Looking massive bro 💪
Hi Ali !
Thank you so much for always providing art of work in SFF.
One question!
Looks like you are using Corsair SFX750 platinum + Moddiy 12VHPWR 16 Pin Power Cable.
How many 8pin connecters are in Moddiy cable for this build?

Really digging the new apartment(?) aesthetics, looking forward to see ur new setup tour
As always, master class on the videography.
His pc’s are getting smaller, and his biceps are getting bigger

congrats on the build -- happy new year!
my next build is 100% gonna be mini ITX. i love the small form factor.
I would want my first PC to be the same since it would be nice for the build to be compact.
i cannot get over how fit this guy is
Bros biceps are crazy
asus recently added pbo undervolting inside the bios for x3d which was nice removed the need for pbo tuner inside windows
Professional presentation and use of language. Excellent video overall.
I am curious to know why your two 5800X3Ds have different power consumptions. I just recently bought one and would like to know. Looking forward to that video.
Undervolting+lottery
Silicon lottery
As others said he just won silicon lottery on the old one. I'm surprised he was confused by this tbh.
@@lilpain1997 I'd assume he's confused because most people conflate silicon quality exclusively with overclocking performance, but this obviously just isn't the case.
Hi Ali, curious what is your case/table mounting setup? Thx
I've been rocking my 4090 w/ 5800X3D in an H20. Despite your recommendation, I undervolted it and it slays. You should probably revisit that vid.
Can't wait to see the watercooled upgrade. Thanks
Sorry missed the PSU part in the video. What is the new rig using and how much does the 4090 pull at full load (in an editing workflow, not gaming). Thanks!
Same SF750, he mentioned that his sets his 4090 to around 330-250watts
Fractal ridge + 4090???
I had the same experience with my 5800x3d in my A4-H20. The first one stock hit 90c under load immediately, undervolted sat around 87c. I RMA'd it at Newegg and when I got the new one, everything was 10-15c cooler under the same exact conditions.
my 5800x3d runs 80-88 under full load rip
I can't lie... My fave is MATX in more boxy style cases but always watching you make itx builds... I may have to build one for myself, mum, brother or friend lol.
Could your increase in CPU usage be because it’s paired with the 4090?
I figured maybe it would have to process more frames. Could be wrong though.
Nope, both tests are using the 4090.
Mini pc builds 😮💨
I just love your videos so much, I enjoy them just as much as I enjoy your muscles.
My dream Pc project. Currently using matx which is small enough
Looks awesome! I wonder if it's possible to have this setup with 13600k instead? Am I correct, that the only showstopper is that there's no coolers with the appropriate height for intel CPU?
Heat output would also be higher
PC is tiny, but muscles are HUGE
Impressive machine! And the pc is nice as well
Damn those gains look nice af. The PC seems nice as well.
Muscles get bigger 🤝 PCs get smaller
these builds have to stop they are making me feel so many things, like i am questioning my sexuality
Love this build, my wallet wouldn't but hey. Happy new year to you.
Your camera work is amazing, as always

Lol I feel you
How did you come up with "65% faster"? Isn't the new system with 3.4 seconds almost 300% faster than 9.8 of the old one?
Cuts time used by 65%. It's 65% faster or you could say that the old one is 288% slower.
yeah I think you're right, 290% approximately according to my calculations
(9.8 - 3.4) / 9.8 * 100 = 65 👍
@@STRET24 so it's 65% faster in terms of time, not speed, got it. Thanks
@Isty He did say it was 65% faster instead of saying it took 65% less time. So there is still an inaccuracy.
The best in the game, superb video as always
Nice, I knew you'd upgrade to the 4090 since it's so much faster than 3090 for video editing.
Nice, I see your PC fit nice to your gpu.
You love to miniaturise your custom (powerful) PC 🔥🔥🔥 & Happy new year 😄🥳

That’s an impressive build bro. Oh and nice PC
wow,. thanks for the CPU comparison!
this is what i’ve been waiting for
Hey, Ali. Can you please tell the most suitable length of the moddiy cable for your parts and the type of the cable itself. Are there any plans to swap the CPU to any of 7000x3d?
I just fit my 4090 FE in the Ncase M1.
Crosshair impact VIII, 5900x (no point in 5800x3d for 1440p it's too close), cooler C14S, no thermal throttling at all which is better temps than the black ridge, combined with side fans and the wedge.
