These are the latest addition to the Tone King family, and by far, they are one of the best! We loved the original Imperial, and these ones are even better, with a built in Iron Man attenuator and a brand new hand built circuit, they are in a world of their own!

Very helpful review, I recently purchased the MK 2 and I'm trying to learn as much as I can.
You' ve really covered all the sounds this tone machines can cover.
Personally it's the best and most versatile amp I've ever heard.
    Nice Demo

This amp seems able to do everything, and looks cool as f. Want.

Sounds pretty noisy when dialled up especially considering the guitar is loaded w Humbuckers

"High gain sounds at low volume..." NO! The Imperial is a LOW GAIN amp. Mark Bartel specifically says this, way back years ago, in his factory demo. And he has pointed it out numerous other times, in NAMM videos, on gear shows...these videos are readily available. The distortion in the Imperial comes from the power section. It is designed as a LOW GAIN front end. Honestly, do you even bother to read a product sheet?
