Genuinely one of the best reviewers on the go - consistently adapts playing style to accentuate the particular dynamics of the amp .... anytime I watch a reviewer who dials everything to 11 and uses a pedal or pedals, it's a complete waste of time - this guy clearly understands classic and progressive tone and how to dial it in - stay cool and thanks for your clear and concise vids !

This guy can obviously play a bit. What I love the most is his humility. Rather than making it all about him, the focus is on the product. A sweep through the features followed by a comprehensive review of the tonal possibilities rather than one clean chord and 6 seconds on the clean channel followed by 99.9% of "look at me" shredding on the dirty. Can we make it law that every music related You Tube channel must watch N Stuff Music videos before posting their ego tripping bile.
Guy does an excellent job on demos.

Still my favourite amp of all time - it's what a guitar should sound like - so musical.
I bought an Imperial MkII about a year ago and love it... wonderful, wonderful amp.

I am hesitating between TONE King , fender Supersonic , and mesa boogie tweed california....for a creamy blues sound (to give a reference>>>>Derek and the dominoes Live at the fillmore in concert 1970 bronce, to say something)

@@pabloperez4063 maybe late to the party, but I was looking at the Cali Tweed but ultimately went TK Imp MkII for the dual channel Tweedy/BF goodness. No regrets. Both channels are great Clean, pushed into Overdrive, and pushed into OD and beyond with pedals in front.
What a great demonstration of this wonderful amp. The tones speak for themselves. I have got to try out one of these!!!
Great comprehensive review.I have this amp.It needs a few hours use before it sounds its best, and then you have an amp that does everything you will ever need, and retains the tone and musicality of the guitar, even with heavy distortion. The built in attenuator is seriously useful.pricey, but it does it all, so I think it is worth it.
Needs to break on, but soon after 10 hours it sounds better, and after 50 h it sounds awesome

You did a killer job of pretending that you didn’t accidentally turn the bass up the first time you meant to turn up the reverb =P
I did upgraded mine with Celestion Ruby Alnico speaker. Amazing vintage/warm tones with nice rounded top end. Really love it!!!

Great review, lovely playing featuring the amp. Bought the Mark 2 a couple of years ago, gig with/ jam with and play at home late at night (thanks to the amazing Ironman attenuation which is killer). Only amp you will ever need and is a credit to Mark Bartel...

A real shame such an expensive amp isn't equipped with a really nice effects loop. Would be absolutely perfect!
Problem with these demo's is Jim Graff can make a Strat Pack amp sound like a million bucks... ;-)

Does anyone know of any cheaper alternatives to this amp? I want to achieve a similar tone without having to sell a kidney...
Fender '65 Deluxe Reverb Reissue plus a tweed-style over-drive pedal will get you close enough so most people won't notice the difference. Tube upgrade can add complexity and tailor tone to taste - both power and pre-amp tubes. Changing the speaker is another upgrade that can be done latter on that can fairly dramatically change the character of the amp. The Imperial MK II is a really great amp though.
The gremlin is a killer little amp. Has a line out and can hang with a drummer
Is the clean channel super loud or is ir manageble?
It has an attenuator, you can set up the sound you want and then dial back the volume -without affecting the sound : ]
The Mid-Bite control is NOT a midrange control. Why not learn the amp before doing the demo?
