What makes these "entry level"? What is considered more pro level?

Both sound amazing, Yamaha sounds more realistic and like a good vertical piano, and Roland sounds more like a fake grand piano. Both are great.

From the Yamaha website, the upgrade from 785 includes new speakers and physical sound design, one more reverb, usb updates, a few more samples/voices, and new physical design, but all the rest seems the be the same: *is it the same ?* (785 had already 3 sensors per key, etc)

The price and performance make this perfect! It sounds as good if not better than the Yamaha keyboards!

Roland has always been my favorite, but Casio is really rising to the top lately. Their tonal affiliation with C. Bechstein is what I’m after.

The 885 ist almost the same as the 785. Still no USB-C ports, same specs plus cosmetic changes. However the 785 is already a great device, so there was not much to improve except the USB ports which they left with stone age A and B ports.

I just did this very shootout. I kept the Carbon Copy because the repeats - specifically the first repeat is darker than the Boss. So it comes across more 3D and in the background. It sits more under your tone than the Boss does. For me its perfect. Your mileage may vary.

Purchased a 2011 Blackberry Sunburst SA260FM as a cheap guitar for jamming in a rough environment (mates jamming on a farm) and love it. Flame maple top on a mahogany body with a Blackberry Sunburst finish was a wow factor in my eyes. Thought about swapping out the two single pickups as an upgrade but never got around to it as I'm getting what I want out of it when playing. Love the splitting feature on the Tru Duo Humbucker and can get a decent sound from it by playing with the volume level. The build quality is ok for a made in China guitar in my opinion, especially when factoring in the purchase price, with the only issue being the varnish on the back of the neck is wearing out. At the end of the day I've still got it and I play it more than my PRS Custom 22. The PRS is a lot better guitar hands down, but not ideal for rough environments. Chris from Western Australia

what's the key action cut off point on both the pianos like? Are they similar to an acoustic piano or does it get to a point where you just cant play a note/ it wont register. I've got an upright piano in my living room, however, I've been thinking of getting the Roland FP-10 as I get home from work quite late which means I can only really practice on my days off haha.

The Yamaha is a much better sounding keyboard. More defined lower end and more realistic sounding

Of these two, the Cole Clark sounds better, but I wouldn't buy either. I'd like to hear a shoot-out between the 808TE and the Angel Maple version.

I like the Roland. Yamaha and Kawai are brighter and Roland is more like Schimmel and Yamaha like a Steinway. We got my 90 year old mom an 88 key Casio. Casio is more comparable to the Roland in depth of the sound. Its definitely lovely but different from Roland. Instruments are like people and have different voices and personalities. Thanks for the video and comparisons. How does FP 30x compare to RD 88?

have a really difficult time deciding between these..... proberly be fp30x or es120 es120 is cheaper... however fp30x have better connectivity...... but what feels best to play. I was very used to play on a acustic upright piano back in the day.
