[176] How i decoded my first real safe, LaGard3330 group 2 combination lock

Oh boy, what an adventure! I decoded my first safe! My wife set a combination for me and my task was to decode this. In this video i will try to take you along the process.
The lock that is installed is a LaGard 3330 group 2 combination lock.
I was shocked, that so little changes need to be noted, in order to get it open.
It would have been impossible (at least for me) without the Vernier scale 👌

Very nice process mapping. You lost me sometimes because I have no idea about safe manipulation. I never gave safe manipulation much thought before, but your video intrigued me. Can you give an estimate how much time the first open took you all three wheels combined, mapping out the gates included?

Thanks 😊 Yeah it is more of a documentary than a manual, I am not good enough to give a whole detailed manual 😅 there are really good videos from people much more talented out there giving a step-by-step manual👍
Hm only for this open maybe roughly 8-10 hours over 3 evenings 🤔 (I am still very slow at dialing and graphing)
I have spent quite some time with the sparrows vault beforehand, but the feedback from the sparrows vault was never that stable and cost me quite some nerves 🙄
The whole safe manipulation thing has the potential to be very frustrating... Also it is a lot less action than you see the movies 😆 maybe it gets better when you are getting better 🤷‍♂️

I wanted to get this but peeps talked me out of it. I’m gonna have to get one though as I want to give it a go. That is once I learn DD picking first😳🫣🤣. So about a year from now. Man I’d beat my sons ass, though he’d have a hell of a time lifting off a 350lb door🤣. This made me laugh so hard. I’m guessing they don’t follow ur channel 😉.

Haha, yeah I got it as a present so I will not complain 😊 I think it is nice to teach you the Basics of manipulation and it is nice that you have to work inside of the lock and change the levers to progress. This gives you a good understanding of what is happening inside the lock 👍
Hehe yeah my parents don't follow my channel 🤣 they have not complained yet and it has been with me for quite some time now 😅 I will give it back to them eventually 😬😬
