Thanks Anthony. Finally some good news about Levi. Hopefully he can be a great backup.

i hope levi does have a good backup season with like you say 10 to 15 snaps a game. having had 5 back surgeries myself. i know just how lingering a back problem can be. if he can put in a whole season like that it would be a good sign that can play in the nfl and help the team. if he can give the lions a good 5 to 7 more seasons plus a few more snaps per game after this season. i would call that a success for him. i wish him a lot of luck and praise for the hard work he is putting in to make a come back from his injury.

With all the positive news that's been coming out, I'm cautiously optimistic that he can be at least a role player like you were saying. Before OTAs I didn't even expect him to make the roster, so he's improved my opinion of him. My thoughts were never anything to do with his talent level or skills, just his ability to stay healthy enough to play. Back injuries, especially back injuries on a big man like Levi are very hard to recover from. I know that from personal experience, I know now I could never do half of the things I used to do without thinking before my back injury. Here's to hoping he can defy the odds. Go Lions!

You don’t have access to the level of doctors he does.

I have a question, how do they determine which DT plays next to Hutch?
Is there a certain spot to put your best DT at as far as which DE he's next to?
If McNeil and Reader start, how do they determine which one plays next to Hutch and which one plays next to Davenport, if he's gonna be the DE starting opposite of Hutch?

It partially depends on lineup. 3 Tech vs Nose etc… But my guess would be it’s matchup based. Hutch and Davenport will play different sides of the line based on the Tackles they play as will McNeill and Reader. Matchups are key

@@writerwrong6168 Okay say they were playing Detroit's offensive line. How would the defensive line be positioned?

I don’t know. I’m not the coach. Personally I would line Hutch over Decker, Davenport over Sewell, Reader at Nose and Alim probably over Zietler
