World record as of 6/4/2019. The ghost seen in the video is the previous record holder "Linksdead" (4:51.378)
I'm pretty certain someone can bring this down to the 4:49s.

Unbelievable! I used to train the Nordschleife every day in the last months in the Formula X and I only managed to get 5:00. There are obviously 10 seconds left to your time and I don’t understand how it’s possible to get 10 seconds out of a car which drives at its absolute limit.

Hey i'm links, nice lap ,love the Nordschleife, i'm too slow in the middle section and as you know just putting in a decent lap is tricky enough,we've both been beaten now
in 2020 and other vr games have taken precedence,i'll maybe see you in pc3.
Hey nice to meet you. Your lap motivated me to lap this place for hours trying to learn the course and strategically use the kers system here. I actually set the lap by "Spark 10" as it's a local VR place in my area that is sitting 2nd on the board. I'm pretty certain I can go faster on my own rig as I missed a lot of corners but with PC3 coming out soon, I'm not sure if I'll bother trying to take the record back for PC2

I’m currently grinding for the #1 spot on the California Highway for Formula X. After that, this track is next on my bucket list. This is a super strong run, though, and I don’t know if I’ll be able to conquer it 😂
What was the tune?
If you don't want those engine dameges you have to set up the Drehzahl
Formula c and formula x are nearly untamable so much wheel spin coming out of corners

Sorry, I reinstalled the game last night to check but looks like Steam cloud never saved anything.
The easiest way to cut down time on this course is to manage the battery. You can't just hold the button down as it takes too long to fully charge.
I was tapping the button until the engine revs were high enough to hold the cars speed out of corners. I think I used a combination of a lower rear wing and gear ratios to accomplish this.

I don't play as much as I used to. But I would say iRacing for the pool of drivers in multiplayer but I know it can be expensive.
Assetto Corsa Competizione is the next best thing and would be my suggestion for someone who wants to just hop in and drive.@@MsPablokaos

@@DD-bv9jl I won't say easy.. but its okay to play once you tweak the settings and get used to it.. but then again the controls are much more limited compared to a Racing wheel + Pedal
