After seeing this video, I knew I wanted to camp at SRSP. Four days ago (5/1/23) I spent a night there. It is one of the most well-organized state parks I have stayed at. Everything was well maintained, the campsite was level and roomy, and, the showers were in excellent condition. The trails are numerous and they vary in length and difficulty.
However, even though I reserved my site 7 days before my stay, I was only able to book one day instead of 2 days. I never expected it to be sold out on a Monday, May 1. I didn't realize it was such a small RV campground.
I will come back. Thank you for your video.

Thank you so much for taking the time to give a good detailed tour. I tent camp (glamp) and always like to know the distance to primitive sites and you are the only one I know who bothers showing them. Much appreciated.

Used to take the kids here years ago. Mainly to swim in the Shenandoah and fish. Never had any idea how vast the park is in size. Thanks!

THANKS for showing the ground, the trail, the camp sites. So many videos 'showing camp sites' do not. So many of these hiking videos has the camera stuck on the person's face. Yes they do. Every time they talk and most of the time they are walking talking about the trail, the camera is STUCK ON THEIR FACE. What the..... we want to see the surroundings so we can decide if we want to go there. Your video does that. Good job.

Hi Danielle - it has been awhile since we did the video - I am pretty sure it was one of the inner sites (away from the river) - sorry we can't be more specific - thanks!
