Thanks for the great campground tour. We'll put it on the must visit list for sure. Here in Upstate NY, we have some similar campgrounds run by the DEC. The more refined ones are run by OPRHP (Office of Parks Recreation & Historic Places.) but we like what you like.

Thanks! This walkthrough is very helpful since I didn’t have time for a drive-through at this campground. You confirmed my first impression from just driving on the main road that the sites are nice. Interesting that the sites in loop C all seem to have electric, while the campground map indicates that they are non-electric. Shhhh. Maybe that’ll be our little secret. LOL

I love videos like this because it helps you pick that perfect spot. The descriptions from the state park reservation sites dont give you enough info.

Passed by this park when heading home from some trips, nice to get a glimpse of it and to see the kids sharing in the joys of nature with you.

Early last spring we saw 23 bears on our GSMNP trip, mostly Cades Cove. Wow seeing those cubs and the mama bear carrying them back and forth from a tree by the visitors center was our highlight. Watched them for about 40 minutes. Glad you got a taste of that even later in the season. I wasn’t too impressed with Pigeon Forge / Gatlenburg Tourist zoo area you must pass through for the entry. Just too much and I actually usually like doing a bit of tourist trap stuff. But if we return it would surely spend the early morning again just where you filmed. Thx for sharing.

Beautiful white buildings supported by boulders. Interesting history of the cabin which also was a post office.

I love this little campground! My parents used to take us there in the summer back in the 60s and 70s. We would wade in the creek and catch crayfish. Then we would walk down the road a quarter mile to a swimming hole. When we got back Mom had our dinner all ready for us to devour. There is nothing like tent camping and falling asleep next to a babbling creek!

Fascinating place to explore. It is amazing how plants colonise these bare areas of solidified lava so quickly. Landscapes like this are so alien to what we see in England with any volcanic activity long ago in our distant past. As I have said before much of your wildlife is alien to us too. I remember you enjoying the lava fields nearby on your earlier trip. There are some really interesting flows further north. If you get chance the Craters of the Moon in Idaho and the Obsidian Flow in Oregon are worth a look. Hope you have a wonderful week. Best wishes from Ivor & Robert

That is an awesome NP. This place is pretty far off the beaten path to get to. We visited here last year and did the same hike and loop. Super cool area. The grotto area was one of our favorite areas of that trail. Those pinnacles throughout the park are just amazing. Fun encounter with the friendly bird you had. Glad you had a fun time on this hike. Counterclockwise is good advice for that trail. Take care and have a great day.

Hi ya, Karen and Shannon, Happy Weekend yahoooo It is very familiar.....Great Smoky Mountains National Park!!!! wow a little overgrown vegetation.. OMG..usually, this place is packed with visitors.. haha nobody? I have been there so many times, so just quiet myself and enjoy your film... haha Yes, if yo see the traffic, there is elk.. You don't believe this, but we lost internet from time to time. The all recording from my phone disappeared. The came back months later hahah spooky right. I heard the same story from other PPL, too. Thank you so much for showcasing my neighborhood. This place must be appreciated by many PPL. I hope you two do not have back pain after driving for so much distance. I have to find some serious cushion for my back. For now, I used rolled thick towel hahah See you next time

Great impressions of Saguaro National Park. We visited it some time ago, but only had the opportunity to visit the eastern part, which was very impressive. We are glad that you also showed us the western side and that makes us want to visit that part again one day. Thanks for sharing. 🙂👍

Fascinating area. I enjoyed seeing the burros and hearing about the history. Yikes, tire troubles are not fun especially when traveling. Hope you two have a great weekend.

Great views of the ruins and great story telling! Incredible place to visit!I liked the cactus on the side of the road as you were driving. The burro’s were cool to see. Lake Pleasant is a beautiful place to camp out. Y’all be safe on your travels!

Ah wow guys it will be great when they have finished excavating this site, I bet there is some very interesting history here yet to be discovered. There used to be a lot of canals around here. That area around the lake was very pretty. I wonder if those ''wild'' burros are as wild as the ponies at Grayson Highlands,LOL! Sorry you had tire issues. Nice video ladies!

Good job you had a plan B and found somewhere a bit quieter to visit. Great hearing about what they are doing here and the history. I love that there are boards everywhere to show you and tell you about what you are seeing. Your camp for the night looked nice. Shame you had to replace an almost new tyre though.

Hi Karen and Shannon It is always benefit to drop by a visitor center The rangers are experienced and professional for our inquirers. I like those information plucks that are well described. The landscape, and wildlife are completely different. So much characters to enjoy No tarantulas no snakes, nor scorpions? Hmmm West and East of the park are slightly different. haha fat and tall and old cactus! 20:18 Fabulous trail. I thank YOU
